So, I came to The Compass for the first time today to celebrate my little sisters birthday. We got Monster Fries as an appetizer, and it was DELICIOUS. The server was fast and friendly bring out drinks and food. I got the Delilah individual pizza, and it was AMAZING. There were 6 people dining, including a toddler, and the total at the end was around $85. I'd recommend because the food is spectacular, and the service was great. It's a bit expensive for a lot of people, but it's worth it! read more

just moved here and thought we'd try this place out. overall pretty good, a solid 3.5 rating from my family. got a family size buff supreme and garlic knots. garlic knots are very fluffy and definitely taste freshly made but lack a little flavor by themselves but when paired with the marinara sauce taste great. pizza crust is also very fluffy and fresh along with ingredients, just a little flimsy when picked up. they forgot our Ranch and parmesan cheese, it was about 33bucks for that altogether. i think we will def be trying this place again but gonna give other places a try as well to see how they stack up. read more

We're from OKC and stopped for lunch on our way to Broken Bow. It was delicious and we will definitely stop again next time we're out this way. Complimentary warm, soft garlic bread with garlic butter was great. We decided to do their 2 for $25 special with an appetizer, 2 pizzas and a dessert. It's a great deal. We ordered the jalapeño bacon cheddar bombs, Brussels spout pizza, Buffalo chicken pizza, and donut bombs. The Brussels sprout pizza was my favorite!!! The cream cheese or whatever that was on my personal pizza wasn't fully cooked or maybe too much on it. The fries were wilted. If I could give this place zero fucking stars I definitely would we waited 45 minutes to get sloppy fucking pizza that was thinner than skin was coming off and had a hard cold pasta for my nine-month-old nobody came to check on us we were there for over an hour I didn't even get half of what I ordered don't go to the compass the chicken strips tasted like they were old and microwaved they were dried out to crispy looked burnt very poor service and I paid $40 for that read more

The 2nd time was much better than the previous visit. Order was correct and large meats pizza was very good! We also had a salad that was fresh and very tasty as well! We have eaten togo food from here a couple of times now and the food is always good and surprising, in a good way. My biggest objections are the menu(s). I wish they were correct and current. I ordered over the phone and I found out that both the menu on the main website as well as the online ordering menu were both out of date. Half the things we ordered were no longer offered and we had to make last second substitutions on the fly, it was extremely frustrating. This is a local business and I know how hard it is competing against the chain restaurants, but one way you can stand out is to be as professional as possible so ppl don't have the kind of experience I did trying to order. OKC is right over there and Tulsa is just north of here. I'm just sayin. read more

This is a local place in the city center, so not convenient to travelers in a rush, but I'd find a reason not to be in a rush. They serve food quality pizza and sandwiches; the chicken parmesan is my favorite. They don't need to have good fries but they do. One of McAlester's best places to eat. The staff is attentive, the kitchen quick and the food is well made. The pizza has a great crust with many specialty toppings. The salad was okay but wish it was a larger portion. The atmosphere was like a fast food pizza place which was fine. We saw some whole pizzas that came out which looked good. Service was good!
