we had the very BEST service from Porsha and then LB!! They couldn't be more helpful. We love the 1/2 off bottles of wine on Thursdays with their delicious charcuterie board. read more

Awesome Service....Jennifer, Jordan, Dylan and Alex are the best! Great atmosphere and food as well!

My husband and I went to Common Table for lunch today around 2:30 and didn't have a great experience compared to other times we have dinned here. Our waitress, Mikayla F, was not very attentive and paid more attention to her boyfriend sitting at the bar or sitting on her phone. We planned on ordering lunch, but only ordered appetizers that took way too long for being one of 3 tables in there that already had food. She eventually asked if we wanted to order food once our appetizers arrived and in my opinion, that should be asked while apps are being prepare. We also saw her hitting in vape in the middle of the restaurant and none of the staff acknowledged us leaving the restaurant. There was no sense of urgency and I probably won't go back! read more

The customer service was great. The food was just okay. The first two sentences are it, Yelp makes me write more.

Popped in just for a few drinks on a busy Friday evening after eating dinner at another local spot in District 121. Sat at the bar so we could watch the game. Jennifer and Zeke took excellent care of us and offered water as soon as we sat down. We had the blackberry mojito which was AMAZING along with some other tequila drinks for the wife. Cool spot and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend. read more

Okay! Let me tell you about this place! It's my jam. I loveeee everyone here (shout out to Cody)! I came here specifically for my girls Graces birthday but he did an extra effort to be kind and check on us. On top of that. Food is bomb and the music is always relaxing but fun. Come! Good food. Good drinks We went on a Sunday to Hip Hop Brunch. The bad: music was too loud. Don't go to Hip Hop Brunch if you have a headache or want to carry on a conversation. read more

The food was delicious and we ate everything. My mil was not impressed with the frozen margarita and said it was watered down with no alcoholic taste. She ended up getting one on the rocks and said it was better. Waiter was friendly and attentive. The appetizers and cocktails were 1/2 off until 6pm and they had music bingo at 7pm. The decor was nice and the place was clean. read more

The food at this restaurant is incredible I would rank it a strong 4 star. Service is also usually pretty great. My reason for the poor review is the cheesy ambiance. They seem to always have a person on a loud microphone playing a goofy trivia game that could easily be playing on a silent screen for those ppl who go out to eat with ppl they don't want to talk to. The location is super convenient to our home but we hesitate to come more often for this reason. The food, "regular" ambiance, and service are great! Please stop shooting yourselves in the foot with the annoying games. read more

Comfort food meets upscale dining. If you're looking for a cool place with great atmosphere while enjoying creative takes on comfort food this place is for you. The service is great (thanks Meredith) and the retro pics of celebrities adds something extra. This is definitely on our rotation here forward. read more

Went here for a birthday celebration. Even though we had reserved a table earlier, we were given an uncomfortable table and had to seat very squashed. The food took forever to arrive. The Philly sandwich and truffle fries were yummy but the other dishes were not that great. The place was too noisy and we could barely hear each other. Overall meh experience! read more

Justin is amazing! Very hospitable and friendly! 10/10 recommend plus the food is pretty good!

Good good and great location! Service - meh... Messed up an order of wings and instead of changing them, they just tossed different sauce on top... Unfortunately the music is terrible and loud! They can do better!! read more

Love Common Table, upscale and fun, great menu and attentive servers. Fried chicken Cobb salad, Salmon BLT and the shrimp appetizer great choices. Outdoor seating is a very nice area and the amazing 60's 70's photos that grace the interior walls are so fun. Music is a bit too loud just be aware hard to have a conversation. read more

Was pretty disappointed In this place after reading some of the reviews. My gf got a breakfast sandwich which was ok, however I ordered the breakfast tacos and they were in fact the worst tacos I've ever had literally no flavor whatsoever. Even asked for an extra cup of salsa and that still didn't help. Service was not the best either. Definitely will never be back. Almost forgot the marg i ordered had no alcohol in it and and just sour... horrible marg for 14 dollars. read more

My husband and I try to make it on Saturday for their Hip-Hop Brunch. We also enjoy the tower mimosas and always come home with food we couldn't finish because they give you such hefty size meals...which is great after waking up from our carb coma nap on our lazy Saturday. read more

Ordered appetizers at 5 pm on a Thursday. Place is not busy at all. Our waitress is very nice BUT I waited 10 minutes after food arrived and finally got up and hunted down an employee to ask for silverware to be able to eat. Had to ask two people for a water refill. Again she was very sweet, just never came around. Mac n cheese is decent. It's a small side size which is fine. Not the best ever but good. The artichoke dip is horrible. Realllly bad. If you can't find a good artichoke dip recipe just buy some at Costco. It will at least taste better than this. The tuna tacos hubby said were good. Essentially all I had to eat was a tiny side of Mac n cheese so I guess we're hitting a drive through on the way home. There was no way we were going to order more food here. Not worth the trouble to find a server! we likely won't ever be back. read more

Today I went to The Common Table and here is my review. First the food is absolutely amazing and delicious. The waiters and waitresses were fantastic. The waitress Meredith was very very cool and very very nice. She even joked around with us which was so funny and fun. And finally the inside was super rad, had pictures of famous people all around the place and were playing songs of hip hop and pop. So if you are looking for a fun, brunch-y, breakfast-y, and lunch-y place to eat please go to The Common Table!!! read more

What fun!! We visited last Sunday morning, just before 11 a.m. and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. I think our main bartender's name was Erin - not sure the spelling, but I should have asked, she was great!! She immediately got us waters, husband got a tasty Bloody Maria (with tequila instead of vodka) and I asked if she could make a skinny margarita. She obliged, and as she gave it to me said, "If it's too tart, let me know, I can make it sweeter" - a good sign for me. It wasn't sweet, and I loved it. It was perfect for my first cocktail of the day. We studied the menu, he opted for the chicken fried steak breakfast, I opted for the "Three Little Pigs". I had a bite of hubby's delicious chicken fried steak, hand breaded and cut with a fork tender - peppery (white pepper I think!) gravy, fantastic potatoes with onions and peppers, and I didn't try the scrambled eggs but they looked just fine! Mine was three kolaches with three different local sausages in them on a drizzle of yummy mustard. Not sure what flavors they were, but one was likely jalapeno cheese and it was the best of the three. All three sausages were well done and course textured - that's EXACTLY how I like them!! After eating, we had another drink, this time he had a Paloma with mezcal, I had a frozen margarita made with Patron and Double Zero (carb) mix. His Paloma was good, lightly smoky. My frozen margarita though kinda small was fantastic!! It was a perfect dessert to my breakfast. And......it was "Hip Hop Brunch" - so the music was exactly that, loud but not too loud, and big fun. Folks were moving to the music at times, kids were dancing at times, and there was every age and type of person in the place. That made the people watching a bonus!! We had a great time, and look forward to going back. Word to the wise, by early afternoon, it was packed!! We were happy for them having just opened the previous Monday, and already going like they'd been around a while. Can't wait to go back!!! read more

I enjoyed Common Table in McKinney, but will have to say Frisco was a much better experience. The vibe of the drinks, the display of all the NFL games, and the DJ on deck made Common Table a good vibe. I ordered bacon for brunch and it was cooked like pork skins. I ate outdoors and there were customers with dogs. Having dogs around food is like having dogs in your kitchen which makes the establishment unsanitary. The dog owners would take their dogs for a quick walk, return with their dogs, and the dogs would come back and shake their fur. You could literally see dog hair fly in the air around the food. Some of the servers would rub and pat the dogs. Not sure if they sanitize their hands after touching the dogs and had to serve food. read more

Atmosphere appears to be nice but the service was AWFUL from multiple wait staff. I joined 2 other people for a late lunch and a beverage. They all acted as if it was a real problem to give us service. We were 3 of the 5 ppl at the bar. I will NOT be back. Dallas has too many other options to deal w subpar service. read more

The Common Table in Mckinney....HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! THEY ARE PLAYING ROCK & ROLL WHEN 96% OF THE CLIENTELLE IS HERE FOR THE MISADVERTISED HIP HOP BRUNCH! They have hip hop artist on the wall but it is clear they are telling us they don't want our business based on the required music selection. This is a joke & again I say, @ this very moment the clientele is 96% hip hop bruch appropriat!. I would not recommend this place if u are looking for the fun atmosphere during the Saturday brunch we are all accustomed to...without notice they removed the hip hop brunch & have staff in corny clown suits. The Marketing Genuis is about to cost this place a lot of money. However, it's very clear this locations is looking for a different client than the Frisco location! I will say the DJ is doing his best to appease the people that are here. read more

The Common Table - This is very disappointing ! - Sports Bars Near Me - Mckinney, Texas

Went on a Tuesday. Was already pretty busy inside and out. No one at the hostess stand so we found a table outside, then waited forever to get a server to notice us. We had half price drinks that were good. Food was good and also half price on appetizers. The service not great as it took forever to get everything. They were incredibly understaffed. The server, Devon was sloshing drinks all over us being in such a hurry and was pretty rude when we asked for items. I can understand that if they are short staffed, then it's problematic, but why should their staffing mean I have a lousy experience. Good and drinks great, service not at all. read more

Sunday brunch is your peak day. Why was the kitchen so slow? I put an online order in and it took a good 50min for a chicken and waffles order. I really did love the Common Table but my most recent visit really disturbed me. I asked to be seated on the patio and as my sister and I were escorted I requested a table on the outer perimeter as there were open tables. The server told me sorry those were reserved for one of the waitresses regular customers. I thought hmmm strange. This is a regular dining restaurant. What???? We were sat at the high top bar that has about 10 chairs on each side. Not 5 minutes later they attempted to sit a white couple near us at the same high top and the lady refused and requested the same table I did by the perimeter. Guess what? They sat her and her husband there no problem. Ticked me off a bit but I decided to stay. Well they were waited on and we were still waiting for water. Finally a waiter came and I was over it. I said I thought those tables were reserved? He said not really but yeah sometimes they say that. I got up and left. Bye! Talk about blatant disrespect. read more

I have never heard my boyfriend rave so highly of food until we went here for lunch today!! Everyone was so kind, service was quick but not at all rushed. The vibe of the restaurant is so happy and vibrant, it's absolutely somewhere we would go back to.
