Fish and chips
Jeff L.

Here for a work trip. The ambiance was pretty good. Had fish and chips and redfish with scampi on consecutive days. The fish and chips were pretty good. Flaky and tender on the inside, as hoped. Service was fine although it depends of course on the waiter assigned. Pricing was reasonable around $20-25 per entree.

Good neighborhood spot. Servers are friendly and food is pretty good. They also have trivia night and other events throughout the week which is fun.

I came here for dinner to celebrate getting a new job, and it was my first visit. The space is a bit small but cozy, and I loved the celebrity photos covering the walls and even the ceiling. We started with the spicy Philly egg rolls and calamari. Both were flavorful, and the sauces had a nice kick. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta, which tasted good, but the pasta was overcooked. The same issue came up with my daughter's mac and cheese. With how saucy both dishes were, an al dente noodle would have been better, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Service was good, and everyone else enjoyed their meals. The real highlight was the music bingo happening during our visit. We played, won a round, and walked away with a $25 gift card, so we'll definitely be back to try other items.

Desi was so nice we are a catering service so we are tuff to please but the restaurant was nice and the sports bar was nice the food was good but the breakfast flat bread was burnt the first but the short rib was nice and the hangover burger was good and the wings need more buffalo sauce and the fries were awesome this place doesn't deserve a 3.6 and desi was so nice but the atmosphere was awesome.

Texas Chicken Philly

Nice spot out in an area with a lot to do around it. Good lint of indoor and patio seating. Plenty of TV's at the bar. Tries to order a short rib grilled cheese but they were out of short rib. Ended up getting the grilled chicken Philly. Sandwich was solid, fries were recently re-fried or heated up, not very good. Good selection of draft beers cocktails and service was great.

The ambiance is very chill, like a sophisticated sports bar with hip hop tunes. The breakfast was great, loved the Texas shaped waffles and their home style potatoes were crispy and flavorful. Caitlin is a GREAT server! She is super witty & has so much personality.

Love their cosmopolitans and $1 mini martinis! The customer service is always so friendly. I love their patio the most, so I recommend sitting outside if you can! I'll be back :))))

The Common Table (DFW Area) How Did We Get Here? Somewhere between "just grabbing a bite" and curating a whole vibe... you realize not every table is common. And this one? Understood the assignment. I landed at The Common Table looking for something easy--but what I got was an experience that felt intentional, social, and just elevated enough to make you stay longer than planned. Let's get into it. The Atmosphere: Indoor-outdoor energy with a patio that breathes. Dim lighting, soft conversation, a little buzz--but never overwhelming. It's giving: date night, business casual meet-up, or "let's decompress after a long day" energy. The Menu: Extensive--but not chaotic. From elevated comfort food to curated cocktails, it's clear this place is designed for options and experience. This isn't fast dining--it's stay a while dining. The Crowd: A mix of professionals, creatives, and people who understand that where you go matters just as much as what you order. Translation? You're in the right room. The Experience: Easy flow. Good pacing. The kind of place where conversation lingers and no one is rushing you out the door. And honestly... that's rare. Final Thought: If you're anywhere near DFW and looking for a space that balances elevated without trying too hard--this is your move. Because sometimes the best places aren't the loudest... they're the ones that feel right the moment you walk in. And somehow, some way... we ended up exactly where we were supposed to be. -- How Did We Get Here?

I had the blackened redfish scampi, it was very tasty. My husband loves wings so he had garlic parmesan and general Tso wings extra crispy of course. He said they were top three of the best wings he's had. We topped it off with the bread pudding. That was also tasty. Glad we came! Adrian was a great server.

Patiently waiting for 15 minutes until we had to approach a server myself.

Went to the patio with my dog as there is a gate and thought it common practice to walk though said gate as opposed through the indoor area. Was completely ignored by the server attending the patio who had only three tables outside ( one being right next to where i was sitting and visibly scrolling through the menu via my phone) When i approached him and asked how to participate politely in getting service when i have my dog with me, he straight lied and said "oh i didnt see you"...bullsh, i was sitting next to one of your tables you touched 3 times! High prices, trash service (sometimes, ive been there before and had good service, but 3/29 evening, clown shoes) so, there's that. Most likely wont be going back.

Sadly while the server was nice, the service was not great, everything took too long and the food was average. I was really hoping for more.

The energy in the place was awesome--everyone was into the show, the atmosphere was fun without being chaotic, and it felt like the perfect spot to watch all the twists unfold. The service was genuinely great. Our server was on top of everything the whole night--quick with refills, super friendly, and somehow always appeared right when we needed something. It made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. And the food? Surprisingly good for a sports bar. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and way better than your typical "bar food" expectations. It's the kind of place where you start snacking and suddenly realize you've eaten way more than planned because it's just that good. Overall, it was a fantastic time--good service, good food, and a fun crowd. If you're looking for a spot to watch a big game or show, this place absolutely delivers.

My wife ordered the veggie burger with paneer, and even as a meat-eater, I was impressed. The fries? Out of this world. Crispy, seasoned just right, and served hot. But the cheese curds... wow. Hands down the best I've ever had. They've got this spicy, crispy breading and a dipping sauce that takes them to another level. Seriously--Keith Lee would love this place. The drinks were on point, the bartender was super welcoming, and the whole staff--including the owner--made us feel right at home. You can tell they care about the food and the customer experience. We were honestly surprised it wasn't packed. With food this good, a chill sports bar vibe, and TVs everywhere, this place should be way more popular. @Dallas101 should definitely feature it. It's exactly the kind of under-the-radar spot people need to know about. If you're in the area--GO. Whether you want a laid-back lunch, a spot to catch a game, or just some incredible bar food, Prism is a total win. We'll definitely be back.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some initial confusion. When we sat down, the bartender mentioned that happy hour was only Monday through Thursday, even though the menu clearly states Monday to Friday. Thankfully, our waitress was more knowledgeable and confirmed it's indeed Monday to Friday. We ordered a Blue Moon, a frozen margarita with Tajín, and the appetizer platter--which included boneless wings with Boom Boom sauce, cheese bites, fries, and onion rings. The wings and onion rings were excellent, and the cheese bites were good while warm. The fries, however, seemed like they may have been refried. We also tried the Mirchi Madness Paneer, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great experience. I'd definitely recommend this spot--even just to hang out.

The beer selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety of draft and bottled options ranging from crisp lagers and wheat beers to IPAs, porters, and stouts. Fun tip - if you order a German beer, it's served in a traditional 0.5-liter glass, which adds to the experience. The atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for in a neighborhood sports bar.
