I've done a lot of reviews and this is the first restaurant that has had any interest in maintaining my business. That alone speaks volumes about their customer service and integrity. We happened ipon the Hip Hop Brunch. We were excited about the theme, energy and coziness. We could tell people were enjoying themselves. The service was quick. I noticed that we had plastic cups and others did not. They ran out of glasses and appetizer plates. The pretzel appetizer was the highlight for us. The veggie omelette was tasteless, the grits are good. My teen got a biscuit sandwich (he said he was full which is rare for him). He said it was good. My daughter enjoyed the greeek salad. She was looking forward to warm cheese but it was cold. Our water was not refilled. I felt like we were an after thought as customers. The food was not great. The molten lava cake was terribly over baked. Atmosphere is okay but around 6:45 pm they made the LED lights on the ceiling uncomfortably bright. The servers are kind but we didn't see ours except for when it was time to order and time to pay. read more

Wondered in here on a random week night and found ourselves in a music bingo game which was a lot of fun. The food was outstanding.

The bartender Taylor is absolutely awful. He does not make your drinks in a timely manner. He does not make what you order. He will give you what he wants and still does not correct his mistake. He's often dancing versus being attentive to his customers. He also often calls customers vulgar names. I honestly do not understand how he is behind the bar. read more

Took my wife here for a Saturday brunch and just wasn't real impressed. Food: I got the blackened chicken with grits. There may have been 2 ounces worth of chicken on the plate and it was almost like jerky from being way over cooked, much like the "poached" eggs which were cooked all the way through and hard. The grits were decent. My wife got the eggs Benedict and again the eggs were way over cooked and it seemed like the English muffin had just been popped on the bottom right out of the bag. We asked for a second to look at the menu and had returned about 30 seconds later asking if that had been enough time. We said no and he went to grab our waters again returning about 30 seconds after. On top of that he tacked on an 18% gratuity. Keep in mind it was just the two of us. We were not with a large party. We reserved the patio for my daughter's birthday celebration last weekend. The staff went above and beyond helping us set up the patio, rearrange some tables, and set up the bar. During the evening, they were very attentive to refilling the food items ordered so that everything was hot and fresh. Drinks were refilled quickly and staff always was friendly and helpful. Hard as a rock cut into small slices with the worst cheese we had ever tasted. The fried chicken bites were good but the sauce was so hot no one enjoyed it. None of us were happy with our meals either. The smokes dessert was disappointing. Four oversized marshmallows with 4 graham crackers and 4 small pieces of chocolate. We had to ask for 4 more pieces of the cracker so we could make the sandwich. Marshmallows were way to large for the small crackers and chocolate. None of us will be returning. The staff wasn't friendly and the service is really slow. The waiter brought water to the table and disappeared. We waited far too long for him to take our order. When he finally came back he thought he was good enough to memorize our order, but he wasn't. He forgot my wife's cocktail. When we finished our meal the waiter was gone again.
