This place is counter service and then you take your number to a table (be sure to indicate if you want to sit in the garden when you place your order, so they know to look for you there). I ordered the Italian Trio Baguette as the cashier mentioned it was pretty tasty. It was just ok. The bread was too hard/crusty and the sandwich was a bit dry (I would have liked a bit more Italian vinaigrette flavor. It wasn't terrible but not something I'd order again. Maybe next time I should stick w/ a pizza, as I have heard pretty good things about them. The pastries in the case looked really tasty, so I think next time I'll come back and order a pastry (or quiche) and coffee. Definitely a cute neighborhood spot that I want to like, so hopefully the next time will be better!

Wish I could praise the output but it was skinny on crema and the body was too thin and over-extracted. The sparkling water cut the bitterness down but if I were to return I'd have to have some milk, a cortado at least.

If I had more time to leisurely work or talk with company here, I would have opted to go this more adventurous route. However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time! My only thing is that I felt some coffee beans at the bottom that may not have been grinded as finely but other than that, the drink was amazing and I would recommend as a good backdrop for a spring walk!

The coffee and chai was not good. I'm not talking about where you can grin and bear it and still somewhat enjoy sipping. I'm talking, I do not want to be anywhere near this chai. This will go on record as one of my least favorite chais. I literally had to walk up the street to get a chai I knew would be good after spending $20 here. I should've just thrown my $20 bill on the ground for what this was. Also, for several dollars less, you can get a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich from Mcdonald's that is significantly more enjoyable to eat. Come here at your own risk. Cheers!

We pointed out the error, she apologized and removed the extras, and then we paid. Second issue: When I received my drink, it was only a 12 ounce instead of a 16 ounce. I didn't speak up at the time because I thought maybe she entered the wrong size at the register. But later I checked my paper receipt, and I had been charged for a 16 ounce. (I accepted the loss because I didn't want to risk a third thing going wrong.) The coffee itself was good, but I didn't enjoy the experience. I hope it was just a series of honest mistakes.
