This particular location was extremely busy with at least four baristas and there was an extended wait I am talking 5 to 10 minute wait. I walked in and used their app got my order under 3 minutes. Great space plenty of tables if you need to set up your laptop. The internet was slow I had to use my Hotspot with my own VPN to get my work done. read more

The Tokidoki collaboration is so cute. The inside of the place is very spacious and comfortable, I love how energetic the staff are! They were all so kind and friendly, which is the kind of energy we enjoy. The place overall, seems like a good place to chill and enjoy a coffee. As you enter from the inside, you wait in line. Sometimes the line is crowded, sometimes not as much. The cashiers greet you, ask for your order then after placing your order--you wait until your name is called and wait again for your order. Wait was not as long, but we did run into a couple of issues during the wait. However, the Baristas immediately resolved the issues before we could address them, so excellent service points for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The drinks we recieved: Two Oreo drinks, and one Chai. I ordered the chai, my brother ordered an Oreo. One thing we both decided: we didn't like the drink as much. My brother said it tasted like water and I agreed. The drink was refreshing, when you don't fixate on the particular taste or when you are thirsty and will drink anything in front of you. I say that 3 is a perfect rating for the experiance as a whole, because part of me enjoyed the ambiance and service--only to be let down by the actual coffee itself. Went in earlier today to order from their seasonal winter menu, and the staff was so nice. I used my coffee bean app to order a drink and right away she asked me, "Would you like to use your coupon today for half off your drink? It expires soon." Girl... YES! Walked out with a medium sized latte for $3.12, American. That is unheard of. The green star place with the scantily clad mermaid is pure robbery. This is my go to coffee bean because it's in my neighborhood and the staff is great! BUT what's killing them right now is the red van parked right in front of the entrance. The people live there now and they're there permanently. It's not very sanitary around food business. There's also a transient that's living in the flower bed right next to the entrance. It's just too much and it's very very unsanitary I have to drive somewhere else now because Coffee bean should be doing something about it but they haven't. Found this place open late on a Saturday night, was so happy I caught them before closing. Had great and welcoming service from Carlos and Sage. Sage prepared an excellent Americano. They were both so welcoming and upbeat, just minutes before closing on a Saturday night shift, and I really appreciated it. Plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Manager Chelsea needs to treat her employees better. It's evident she's miserable and she's taking it out on high school kids and it makes them all very upset, I can see it in their faces. I've heard baristas bring up concerns to her and she'll just gaslight and blame them for things SHE should be taking initiative over. She talks to them like they are stupid and will passive aggressively speak to them when they ask her questions, like is that not ur job to answer them? I've worked at many different food service companies when I was young and never seen a manager as disrespectful as she is to her team. It seems these kids are too scared to stick up for themselves out of fear of retaliation. I've talked to a few of them and they all have something to say. Further, it is extremely understaffed and the drinks take forever to come out. It's not these baristas faults but if you expect fast paced working, it is physically impossible for these workers to need demand and it's sad. I would personally go out of my way to avoid this coffee bean, it's not worth the hassle and embarrassment that these rude baristas put you through. Picking up drinks for your pregnant wife? They'll question why your name isn't on the drinks and even snatch them out of your hands. I get people come in and take drinks or food that isn't theres but to rudely snatch things off of one's hands and question them as to what the name for the mobile order is, is beyond me. I pick up mobile orders for my wife regularly and have never had a worker question me or snatch beverages/food off of my hands and assume they were not mine. Definitely won't be coming back to this specific location, despite it being the closest to my wife's place of work. Not surprised by the other bad reviews from this location after this experience. I have been recently looking for a place that's sells a good matcha green tea Frappuccino. While considering a coffee shop I wanted to be close and affordable. When I first entered the place it was clean and the staff were very welcoming. Upon arriving the staff greeted me, gave me suggestions and when I received my drink they asked my thoughts on it. They provided amazing customer that makes me keep wanting to come back. do not come to this location and order almond milk brcause they'll give you regular milk. this has happened multiple times with my fiance and i where we order almond milk and they give us just regular. (8/12/2021) It's a 3.5 for this CBTL franchise & that's impressive for a chain store! I ordered an espresso macchiato so I can make a 'fair' comparison to Starbucks' & it was no big surprise that CBTL's is better. My drink was deliciously bitter & smooth, creamy (even with nonfat milk) and it was perfect. Also visited the lavatory & it was (door has a code for entrance, as most would guess to deter any riffraff) clean, well maintained & even smelled fresh. Indoor seating is allowed & signs placed as "sanitized" which was very much appreciated. The staff are efficient & friendly. There are a few outdoor seating areas. I'm encouraged to know a few branches now allow indoor seating, as I am put off by the ones who do not allow it. For me it's a sure sign how much they appreciate their customers & their business. We all know and love the deliciousness of the coffee concoctions at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf but I've found my new obsession that needs to be reigned in, quite frankly :0!! I've invented a healthier version of the incredible iced blended matcha: get it with almond milk and half the matcha powder to cut the caffeine, the sugar, and the calories in half !! Woohoo!! Win win. It's absolutely as delicious modified like this without the added stuff we all don't need!! And this Bixby Knolls location takes the cake!! Manager Chelsea and her entire team are everything!! They all know the names (and dare I say, even our drinks by heart!) of all of us local regulars and they are all so warm and friendly. I have craving coffee bean pastry and their butter cookie late. It's creamy and I usually get it hot. It's more on the sweeter side so if you want to get it half sweetened you can! This location has a sanitized sign for those tables that have been cleaned off for those who are trying to be more germ free. I use to study here everyday for about two years and bring students to tutor. Their service is fast and sometimes it gets busy but they can handle it.
