It's not a trip without taking a photo of the wall. The coffee is always a hit and I do enjoy the specials when offered. Everyone is friendly and they always remember a face! I love the set up and how aesthetically pleasing it looks.
Always looking for a coffee that gives you a buzz and definitely found that here. Really love this place for breakfast burritos and coffee.
CoffeeDrunk definitely knows what they're doing. The coffee was on point.... balanced, smooth, and clearly crafted by baristas who know their roast profiles and extraction. You can tell they take their craft seriously. Service was solid too. Friendly baristas who kept things moving while still giving attention to detail. My only wish is that they offered larger sizes and a wider range of flavors or seasonal rotations. It would be great to have more flexibility for those who want to linger a bit longer with their drink. Still, the quality is undeniable. If you're into well-executed coffee with a clean vibe, this place is absolutely worth checking out.
Gotta love this old school strip mall with terracotta tile edging. Inside playing some epic tunes. Employees were very welcoming. Clean lines, minimal decor, absolutely perfect interior. Ordered an iced almond milk latte. Made to perfection. This place has it together. I've been to the other two locations, and can't wait for the Belmont Shore location to open! Good job guys!
I had to try CoffeeDrunk, it feels like a Long Beach must! I got the barista's favorite and it tasted a lot like almond extract which wasn't bad because their coffee they use is so tasty. I tried all the drinks ordered by my party and they were much more delicious, I think I thought my coffee wouldn't taste extremely like almond. I still enjoyed it, cute little cafe vibe with friendly baristas. Honestly, best coffee I had this weekend so aside from my ordering choice, they definitely did the thang.
Even just the name of this place puts a smile on my face! It's a pretty small shop with only a few places to sit. I think it's a shop meant to grab your coffee and go-- not a linger-around-and-enjoy-the-WiFi-on-your-laptop type of place. The plants there were thriving and the displayed merch was so cute! When I visited, I was able to try: * The Instigator- not gonna lie, I partially chose this drink because the name was funny. It's iced shaken espresso with brown sugar and milk. A classic! Not too sweet, just enough coffee taste * On My Way! Latte- the house-made pistachio syrup with espresso and milk was so good! Wish there was more of a pronounced pistachio flavor. It was around $15 for 2 coffees-- kinda pricey, but all in all the experience was nice.
Finally found my favorite coffee shop since moving to Lakewood. Conveniently located 3 minutes from work also! The roast and flavor they use for Instigator and On My Way has been solid. It's very balanced without overpowering the taste of the coffee. However, I've tried their ube latte, and sure, the ube was good (they use Ube from Gemmae's ), but the roast makes the ube taste like a toasted ube. I still love my Instigator, On My Way, and the Blue Berry Latte, though, so all good! Lastly, the cashier and baristas are always friendly whenever I come in, so that's a plus. I can't wait to go back the next time I treat myself to a good coffee.
I got the Go Away latte which has pistachio and my husband got the instigator latte and we love them! Super cute area and they're all so sweet!!! The chairs aren't made for you to stay but that's probably wise because I'd never want to leave! Absolutely adorable.

Maybe it was the location but all i ordered was the pistachio latte which was so basic i had no idea why it was on reviews. To me it was terrible Maybe i ordered the wrong thing. apon entering this was no menu on top just on the counter which i only saw a handful of drinks not even the ones other reviews were mentioning. It took 15 mins to make my drink. No it wasn't busy at all. The environment is small with no seating more like a grab and go place. This was the closest location to me at the moment. Maybe the other locations are better i'm not sure but i wouldn't come back to this one.

I'm glad I tried it though and I do love the interior decor and minimalistic design. Everything looks so high end from the espresso machine to the cups and pastries. It's also really clean and spotless. The service was good and really friendly too. I also wanted to get the sweatshirt but it was $65 which is insane. Their marketing and branding are great but the prices are not.
The staff is super friendly and making conversation with the customers asking how everyone's day is. They recommended the investigator and butterscotch latte. I got the butterscotch latte hoping it would taste like the butterbeer from Harry Potter world. I would say it needs more flavoring of the butterscotch but it is still pretty good. The reason why I gave this a 4 star is because this location is not a great location to work or study. There's no wifi. The parking is street parking. The stools and tables are small and tiny that you have to hunch over to do work and your laptop won't fit the table. There is no public restrooms. My recommendation is if they want more customers is to open till 5 pm, have wifi, and bigger tables. Oh also allow bathrooms! This is the only coffee shop in Long Beach that's different from everywhere else. But overall I really wanted to give them a 5 star.

At this point, CoffeeDrunk Cal Heights should just make room for a sleeping bag for my wife and I. Straight up, this place is top notch and the coffee has become our benchmark period. Not only is the product great though, the crew here makes every visit feel just like home. They are always warm and welcoming. Super knowledgeable and friendly. A true neighborhood joint and extension of the community. We really appreciate every one of them. So much so, I'm in there at least several times a week! If you're looking for a spot for a great coffee or food from other local spots like Nonna Mercato or SolRad, stop in. You won't regret it. Heck, we even have their coffee at home! read more

I was already intrigued about this place by the name of it, Coffee Drunk, I mean, is that not intriguing? Well, it definitely reeled me in. Coffee Drunk is a cute little cafe in Long Beach. There are several locations within Long Beach, but this one is specific to the one on Wardlow Road. When my husband and I went, they were getting ready to close, so we barely made it. They do close pretty early in my opinion, 2:00pm, but that's just me. I'm sure they have their reasons. Anyways, the space itself was super cute with seating. They have a variety of different drinks to pick. You have you regular, basic drinks, or how they like to say, "The Originals". Or you can go with something a bit more fancy. Like the Instigator, the Friends with Benefits, the Baby LA etc... I went with an OG drink, and Iced Vanilla Latte. It was great! No complaints. read more

Been wanting to try this place out for a while now. So when you pass by unexpectedly, you plan to visit the next day since you were unable to stop. First off, the coffee shop is on Wardlow, which can get busy at times. They have a second location but this one is more convenient. There is only street parking and there isn't always a spot but since we stopped by in the morning it wasn't too bad. The shop is pretty cool and has the same vibe as other coffee shops in the LBC! Staff were great and the drinks were made fast. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Instigator and it was yummy. Not on the sweet side which was a plus. Plus, they have milk substitutes which were great. Price is similar to any other coffee shop but I definitely recommend to try this place out. Plus, the merch is really cool and I might stop by again to get some swag. read more

We went this weekend twice in a row sunday and monday and both days drinks came out great and delicious we got two "friends with benefits" so good we ended up getting a third for all of us to share...and we got the new what i believe was called "Hall Pass" which is their version of a strawberry matcha and man was it better then a regular strawberry matcha. and while we waiting for our drinks we ordered a cup of ice with a coke cola yummy! next day we got the "instigator" one of our favorites! overall amazing drinks and pastries! and of course the costumer services was over the top like always! parking is pretty accessible and cute interior! read more
Hmmmmm... Caffeinate Responsibly. That's the motto of this little caffeine dealer in Long Beach. It's too late for me and it will be for you if try Coffee Drunk :) We had two of their signature drinks. I had the hot Salted Pistachio Latte; I love anything pistachio and this was soooooo good!!! My Son picked the Iced Bitter Late Than Navel Latte which is muddled orange shaken w/ house vanilla syrup, cardamom bitters, espresso & milk... WOW This was really good and something different which is really nice!!!!! The staff are very friendly and make excellent drinks quickly :) The shop is a little small but awesomely decorated and immaculate. It has a kind of modern hippy with an edge vibe that's inviting. Parking is street only and they get busy so you may have to walk but it's worth it :) read more
On my quest to continue to try new coffee shops, I decided to stop by CoffeeDrunk. It has a really cute aesthetic both outside and inside. The baristas/staff were friendly and patient with me as I explored their menu. After getting an overview of their coffee, I decided to try The Instigator, which is their claim to fame. This drink comes iced only, and has maple and brown sugar. It was delicious, and definitely makes me excited about trying additional coffee drinks at CoffeeDrunk. They have both their usual menu, and a seasonal menu. Very little seating inside, so not a space to come and setup with a laptop at all. read more

Yay for another CoffeeDrunk location!!! I love the one on 4th and Ohio and was stoked when I learned about this location. Service is amazing!!! You get greeted right away and the staff are friendly. Inside is super cute. There's indoor and outdoor seating. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping in. read more

We came here from our cruise.. did a random search and this one was decided because of the fun name! The pastries looked amazing! They have some merchandise for sale. Cute spot in Cal Heights! Hubby and I went to CoffeeDrunk on grand opening day. Our afternoon visit had a short line with a good amount of people sitting indoors & outdoors as well as standing near the drink pickup area. The decor is bright, modern, and I dig the monochromatic trippy pattern on the walls. Hubby had The Instigator which was only $2 during opening day. It's an iced espresso drink shaken with maple, brown sugar & a touch of milk. Based on that one drink, Hubby said he likes CoffeeDrunk better than another local coffee spot. A drink on their seasonal menu caught my attention and I ordered the Blueberry Brown Sugar Latte with almond milk and subbed the espresso for matcha. Tasty stuff! For a drink that contained house-made blueberry syrup and brown sugar, I appreciated that it wasn't very sweet. A gorgeous mix of colors too! Maybe a bit pricey than I would prefer to pay for a small beverage but I'm more willing to spend it if it supports a small local business. https://bit.ly/3OebU9h Our drinks came out pretty quick so not a long wait at all. CoffeeDrunk is a great addition to a growing list of specialty coffee shops in Long Beach. I dropped in during their soft opening week in the afternoon and had an iced Instigator, which is a shaken espresso over maple, brown sugar and opted for almond milk for an extra $1 (wish it didn't cost that much for non-dairy). But it's a nicely crafted drink if you're looking for something sweetened with a slightly milky texture. It's a perfect afternoon pick-me-up! Typically, I drink black coffee, but I reserve that for my mornings. They don't roast their own beans, but they are the only shop I've been to that features 49th Parallel from Vancouver--one of my favorites. Looking forward to coming back! Seating is minimal and mostly reserved to 2 per table, but the aesthetic is great as a neighborhood coffee spot. read more

I've been to the 4th st location with my fiancé. I didn't know this location was open. Decided to come since it's my day off and it down the street from me. Got the shaken main squeeze as it was recommended by the cashier/ barista. She was the only one working but i didn't have to wait too long. There was only one person in front of me. Coffee has good flavor can taste the subtle hints of the muddled orange. I don't know how strong it's going to be. The one on 4th wasn't that strong. I'll come back and take my fiancé to this location to see her take in it. It is a little pricey but worth a try. If you sign up right now you get $2 coupon. As soon as you walk in the ambiance is filled with neutral, earth tones and hints of wood. PSA: No public restrooms and street parking. read more

The workers are really nice and helpful. Coffee is super good it's my go to coffee. I always get the "friends and benefits" or "instigator" or also just a regular "vanilla latte" super good always comes out good every time I go. The pastries are my fav always have to get one when I go, always get the everything croissant with cream cheese, ham and cheese croissant, pistachio croissant, and bacon and chives croissant all are super yummy! read more
