Caesar salad

Have been wanting to try this place out for awhile now and finally made it in on a Saturday for lunch. The vibes are great, beautiful space. Their menu is awesome. I had a hard time picking what I wanted. Our server was friendly and prompt. I ordered the chicken salad croissant with a side caesar salad. The croissants and chicken salad were tasty. The Caesar was a miss for me. Overall I'd definitely be willing to come back in to try more of their menu.

The service was on target. The appetizers were brought out in a timely fashion along with the drink order. The side section where we were seated was intimate and allowed us to talk with great conversation. The dishes were served with great color and seasoning. The clock tower never disappoints.

Service alone is 5 stars. Drinks were amazing! Food was phenomenal. We made a reservation since it was a Saturday night, but it didn't seem necessary. Stepping inside, the ambiance and decor matched that of an urban, trendy bistro. It was very spacious with nods to classic rural vibes. The menu is small but extensive. It offers something for every taste and budget. The cocktails are top-notch (a bit expensive, imho), and the Blue Velvet espresso cocktail is a dessert must! The service was excellent. Our server made us all feel like regulars on our first visit. She even suggested we come back, dine on the patio, and enjoy drinks and pizza! She also offered recommendations to two members of our party. Everyone loved their dinner choices. All the food was cooked with what felt like homemade love, but with an urban, big-city trendy chef's touch. I'm excited to return, relax on the patio with a few drinks, and try this wood-fired pizza. But I'm definitely getting that cast-iron cookie and the cornbread no matter what!

First time here and love the look and decor of the restaurant, especially my gold dinnerware our waitress Eliza was really great! So friendly and fun to chat with and she really did a wonderful job! Appetizers: We absolutely LOVED and devoured the poblano cornbread, cajun shrimp, and pork belly. All of the apps were phenomenal and I highly recommend! Drinks: not their best...soda tastes a bit funny and my mule was really lacking flavor. Others in my group said their drinks were better. Dinner:...I don't know what happened here. After experiencing how awesome their appetizers were, we expected our main entrees to be great too but it was pretty much the exact opposite. Everything was severely lacking in flavor which was so strange considering the flavors of the apps. Very disappointing :(

I was coming back from Urbana on Sat. and thought I'd stop for dinner here since I would be driving right past it. I'd heard good things and it was on my list. So glad I did. It was around 4:30 and wasn't busy yet. I sat at the bar in front of the giant screen showing a golf tourney (don't mind at all). Derek was one amazing bartender. I had the Clockwork Orange cocktail that had coconut on the rim, with the Burrata starter. Perfection. I asked Derek about the Farmer's Salad and the Green Goddess Salad. One is more fruity and the other is green with peas. Both sounded delicious. I chose the Farmer's with added salmon. I'll get the Goddess next time. I added a glass of the House Red, which is a light Cab. I loved my meal and my visit. It's very pretty and the service was excellent. Can't wait to return. I just read it was voted Best New Restaurant in 614's Best of 2026.

We really enjoyed our visit for brunch here today. The restaurant is housed in Plain City's iconic clocktower, with the original gravity-driven clock still in operation. It's a beautiful space, and while we had a reservation, because we came right when they opened today they had not gotten busy yet so I'm not sure it was needed. We started with the cornbread. It was good, but a little cold in the middle and not my favorite of its kind but was better when I reheated later this afternoon. The bagel with lox was interesting as it had pickled onions which made it taste very sweet. It was a unique flavor profile that I would not order again but I'm glad I tried. My husband loved his yogurt and potatoes and my son enjoyed his pancakes. Our server was lovely and even gave my son a cookie to take home. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the other items on the menu!

Cookie Butter Pancakes, side of Bacon and pineapple mimosa

Location; new spot in Plain City, came in for brunch solo and sat at the bar. I initially made a reservation for two, but ended up coming in solo, hostess was great with the change. I was driving into Plain City to pick up some Christmas pies up the road, and made a trip of it. Food; Started with the best mimosa. I ordered probably one of the best pancakes I have had for sure in the top three ever. The cookie butter pancakes are delicious, the gingerbread crumbles bring a taste and textures that screams perfection. The bacon was good, may have been cooked a little longer for my liking but was obsessed with my pancake. I had looked at menu prior to my arrival and order a poblano cornbread togo, which was delicious at home that evening. Service; My server/bartender was great. I am trying to plan another visit here soon.

I was born and raised in Plain City. Right across the street from this place actually. Been meaning to try it since it opened. Mostly to see how they remodeled the inside. I'd been in that building so many times I was reply hoping it would be nicely renovated but leave the old charm. They did a great job. Love the inside. The menu looked awesome. The drinks are nicely priced, not crazy. There are so many house cocktails we want to try. I did the mimosa and the espresso martini this time since we were there for brunch. They were both delicious. Lots of Ohio made alcohol options. I like that. We got the onion rings to start. Wow. They were pickled onions so they look purple when bite into them. Never seen that before. Yum. The sauce they came with was delicious. My nephew enjoyed it so much licked the cup clean. My sister in law is a vegetarian so she got the crispy cauliflower for her meal. It's got a very Indian food taste and she loved it. Big portion. My bother and my husband got the breakfast burrito and enjoyed them. My nephew for the salmon and scarfed it down. I got the Benedict. I'm a sucker for a food Benedict and it didn't disappoint. Loved it on the sourdough toast. We hadn't been there since it was fixed up so we asked if we could go up and look at the event space upstairs. Love what they did up there and love that they are displaying the inner workings of the clock. Everything was delicious. We will definitely have to go back for dinner!

Welcome to Plain City Clocktower!! Decided we wanted to try something new, so took the drive to downtown Plain City. The Clocktower Kitchen & Bar is on the corner in the middle of town - near the soon to be lit Christmas Tree. There was a lot of street parking and also a public lot in the ally behind the restaurant. Arrived a little before five for happy hour and it was very quiet. Lucky for us grabbed seats at the bar, where Jeff and the other bartenders took care of us. Also by 530 or 6 it was getting crowded. Bar filled up with local couples and friends. Very festive ! Happy hour had discounted drinks and a few appetizers discounted. Team recommended the Carmelized Onion Dip ! Great choice as it was served with toasted sourdough and was delicious. Enjoyed a few drinks, Tried 88mph and an old fashion. 88mph was outstanding! Smoked Old fashion was more syrup than bourbon. Stick with 88mph. They have a good draft beer, wine and bourbon selection. After appetizer we enjoyed Wedge Salad with Chicken - which was as ordered and very good. Tried Sweet potato Gnudi w added chicken. Definitely something to go back for. Couldnt resist but tried the mac and cheese too. We agreed that there were other great dishes to try and we will be back. Thanks to the bartenders, hostesses, and kitchen. We will be back and its worth the drive. Also note - Clocktower is pretty big! it also has a great banquet room upstairs. Would be great for events or receptions.

Blueberry Velvet drink with espresso

The food was very flavorful, and we plan to return. I ordered the honey chicken sandwich, and he enjoyed the Alfredo mushroom pasta; both dishes were excellent. Their beverage selection is also appealing. I tried the Blueberry Velvet espresso drink, and it was truly indulgent. The service was exceptional--we even received a complimentary slice of cake in celebration of their one-year anniversary. The restaurant's decor is beautifully designed with warm earthy browns, inviting green accents, and exposed brickwork. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning. If you're in the area, don't skip this spot!

I loved this cute "little" spot. They're not small in size at all, but the atmosphere still feels cozy and inviting. Our team stopped in after a long morning working outdoors. We were dirty, buuuut they welcomed us in anyway lol. Unlike us, the place was clean, cute, and the staff was so sweet and helpful. We only wanted something light so we could get back to work without feeling heavy. I don't remember what all my colleagues ordered, but I had the Farmer's Salad (no pecans) with salmon added. One of my colleagues ordered the same thing plus the mac and cheese. If I'm being honest, I don't think she liked it much, but since I didn't try it, I have no comment. When I return (and I will return), I plan to order the Brussels and the Short Rib Ragu. Short Rib Ragu, come on! Mmmm! Oh I forgot to mention the affordability of all these items. But being based in the DMV and traveling all over I could be sticker scarred lol. Now for the part that really sealed it for me. I was helping at an outdoor event later in the evening, and it was so hot I could barely think straight. The moment I walked in, the staff asked if I'd been out at the event, and the bartender made me an Arnold Palmer with basil just because. Lifesaver! I don't know you, ma'am, but I love you lol. Thank you, Clocktower! Oh parking.... Easy to find not much of an issue.

Breakfast hash

Came in for brunch on a Sunday morning & had the best brunch I've had in a long time. The restaurant is an old clock tower that had been restored. Very aesthetic vibes on the inside. The breakfast burrito was delicious, the French toast was fluffy, the breakfast hash had great flavor too. Our waitress Eliza was so wonderful & kind, very personable. Will definitely be coming back for brunch and want to come her to try their dinner menu.

Got to go and visit here with family and loved the layout and atmosphere!…read more Lots of different areas to hang out in and sit. Looking for a cabana style spot for you and some friends? Got it. A quiet corner to have a drink and relax? Yup. A main open area to be around groups of people? Check! We loved walking around and exploring the different areas and seeing the views! The flight of ciders was a treat and we enjoyed trying 4 different ones and comparing which we liked best! (Lemon ginger was a BIG hit!) The staff were all friendly and helped narrow down our choices. There's a separate part of the property where they hold weddings and events, which would be beautiful! Looked like they also have food trucks and music in the tap house regularly too. Looking forward to visiting again when I am back in town, gotta try the new seasonal flavor!

Dylan had wanted to show me how beautiful this place has become and also wanted me to meet Matt. Im certainly glad I did! Matt spent some time with us and let us explore the property. Matt is great! Retreat21 is lucky to have him as we found the landscaping to be wonderful. From the patios, to the right amount of gravel on the road, to their gorgeous, landscaped pond and event center and OH! can we mention how they incorporated a 100+ old oak to serve as an altar in their woodland sanctuary. Perfection!!! There is a large guest cabin that can be rented, plus seven other ones and a handful of geodomes. Each cabin has a private hot tub and fire pit. The geodomes just have a fire pit. At the front of the property is a large barn that has been converted to a tasting room. They have several house made craft wines and ciders. You can take those out to enjoy on one of three nice sized patios... one has hanging swings! They serve charcuterie, boards, and flatbreads... I'm on the weekends. They have food trucks. They also have yoga on the weekends that you can do in their vineyard -pretty cool along with other events This is a great addition to the Columbus area and Marysville. I think it's gonna be very successful. Definitely worth the trip to visit.
