In fact, at 7 pm on a Thursday, there wasn't even a dozen people in the restaurant to begin with. Everything was decorated for Valentine's Day which was a cute addition. The domes are also heated which made things nice, but you can't really see the river which is the point of the domes. Additionally, our server didn't really check on us and it took a while to get the condiments missing when the food arrived. We ordered a variety of items with the ny strip being the best of what we tried. The au jus was rather bland, the fries were crispy but had no flavor, the fish was quickly soggy due to all the oil not being drained. We added on hush puppies to the fish and chips.... $5 for 5 hush puppies. Would not suggest doing that, not worth the up charge. There is an eclectic mix of things on the menu but nothing that would lead me to recommend someone to try this place. The beer selection was great however so if you are looking for a place to grab a drink, the tap room feels like a great option. The restaurant however is more for vibes than a quality meal.

The beautiful bar area was filled and they had reserved a table for us near the fireplace. Allie was our server and we will be back just to visit with her! She was super friendly, efficient, and kept checking back with us to replenish drinks and food as needed. The seafood bisque soup was piping hot and so flavorful. Two of us had the Black Forest sandwich which were overflowing with meat (ended up taking half home for later!) The Deluxe burger was juicy with mushrooms and onions, cooked to perfection, and the Chalice sauce was delicious. I should have taken photos of the food but to be honest we inhaled everything while we kept talking. The main issue was the OWNER of the bar was in there drunk as could be. Kept making smart remarks to me and then turning his head away like a scared little kid and laughing like he was funny. He kept telling me over and over he owns the bar to which I told him I don't care who knows the bar, but in a meaner way. He tried to get me to take a shot but I refused and he kept making dumb remarks and hiding by turning away. He then apologized when he could tell I was tired of his act. Full bar and bartenders that are friendly and are good at giving suggestions on what to drink or try. We've also played a many dice and bar games with them for shots. Great place to be for Packer games and all sports. They usually have some specials for the games as well as daily/weekly specials in the kitchen. My favorite is when they do crab Rangoon pizza! The other option I always order when here is a variation of different wings that they make. They have a full pool table, a dart machine, and a nice side small patio outside. The bathrooms are very small and cramped, but usually pretty clean. Unlike many other dive bars in this town, this one everyone is and does feel welcome here with the friendly service and atmosphere of the regular customers.
