The cats were so sweet and absolutely precious! They provided multiple ways to interact with the cats, including toys and catnip. The staff were also very very sweet and clearly care about the cats, and we were given a tour with tons of info. The rooms were really creative; there were multiple areas with different themes, and it was a lovely experience for an incredible price read more

They had 13 cats but the last one .. I asked multiple times if we could see the last one and the answer was always "he's a bit overstimulated now". We spent 1 hour bc 30 min cost $15 including tax and 1 hr $18 incl tax. Place isn't big. It was busy on a Saturday. It was clean and didn't smell, but I wish they sell real food / drinks. I dunno why they call this place a cafe, it's not a cafe. And I wish the place is bigger read more

So many of the cutest kitties! Staff were nice and gave a quick tour of the different rooms before letting us walk around and play with the cats. We saw so many different types and personalities. It was so nice just playing with the cats that we extended our time. My boyfriend even ended up adopting one! It was so funny to see this cat stare at the sink water most of the time we were there and we figured that she would be a great low maintenance and low energy cat, perfect for him. This is such a great way to adopt because you can get to know the cats and see who clicks with you. This cat ended being as relaxed as we expected and is fitting in perfectly! Interview process was quick and easy, they give you a free tote with vet info, and the staff was so knowledgeable about our cat. Only complaint if any is that we didn't expect such high adoption fees, but it was worth it. They also notified my boyfriend that she is FIV positive and were so informative about it when educating him on it and its myths Don't let FIV status discourage you from adopting a kitty! it really doesn't make much of a difference because they're basically like normal cats. All you really have to do is be careful about them getting hurt too badly. His cat is indoors to lower any risks and she has adjusted to apartment life so well, we are so happy we visited! read more

Went here for the first time and the experience was just ok. They definitely need to work on their front desk customer service experience. We were lamely greeted by this lady at the front desk who was more busy on her phone. She was not friendly. She rushed us through the check-in process and never bothered to ask if I need my receipt or not. Later, I also found out about their monthly and yearly subscriptions which I was not told about. I may have signed up if front desk told me about it. The volunteer/staff who took us inside and gave a tour was really nice, informative, and friendly. They had about 8 cats when we went. Some of them were confined in a different small rooms because of different issues. Most of them were friendly. They do have kittens but they were in a separate room and you are not allowed to see or interact with them. Also, on their website it does say that you can pick up cats under supervision but we were told that this is not allowed either. I am not sure why the website stated otherwise. Place is good if you are into cats. There is nothing close by like this for cat lovers that I am aware of. read more

I loved the cats. They have many adoptable cats that you can pet. It's a sort ontey before you by situation

If I could give zero stars I would. We came in to adopt a cat for our mom, whom we live with, & were told we can't adopt as a gift. Secondly, her attitude was horrible & didn't seem interested in answering our valid question. It seemed as though she didn't want these cats to be adopted into good homes. The entire experience was off putting. Do not recommend if you're looking to adopt a cat. read more

$14 to visit for 30 minutes. There were about 7 cats. I was not impressed. I could smell litter boxes. Great idea but no.

If I could leave 0 stars I would this place does not care about their cats. Tried adopting and was told they had alot of applications implied the cat I wanted wouldn't be adopted before the weekend was over and told me that they were screening applications intensely then Sunday the very next morning I get an email that the cat I applied for was adopted. This place is a joke. No working wifi takes forever to get any help then get black listed such bs!! Go to the spca read more

A cute corner shop if you love cats. I wasn't looking to adopt only support & play with some kitties, sadly it isn't a cafe, I asked they didn't have any bottled drinks even. Bummer! I think they should have a fridge with beverages for purchase, it would help support the rescue. We did end up purchasing a Kyle Sticker, Toy Balls, & a little kitty squishy. 11/10 if you need to bring a new friend home, or need kitty therapy. read more

LOVE this place. They care about the kitties, well taken care of place. No smells. Cute cat paraphernalia to purchase. Great pricing. My daughter and I are repeat customers for years and will remain repeat customers for years to come. read more

They raised their entry prices way too high, and the cats seem to be too overstimulated.

My son wanted to go here for his 9th birthday and he had a great time. I kept a close eye on my children in here and made sure they stayed respectful. The staff was friendly and it was great for a visit to pet the cats. It did not smell and there was a lot of kitties. We came at opening and when we were leaving it was getting busy in there and they did go on a waiting list. We had a very positive experience. read more

The "charming" cat cafe is not so charming at all. If I could give zero stars I would. I (22 years old female) came in with my sister (9 years old) just to look at kitties. She fell in love with a kitty but the adoption time ended so I came back the next day with my mom (43 years old does not speak English very well). I filled out a form under my name with all my moms information (as she can't speak English very well. They denied my application since I just moved to Texas from California after graduating with a biology degree from UCI and do not have a job yet in Texas (I have an interview at a doctors office the day after). I completely understand however my mom is the one responsible for this kitty. She is stable financially and stable in all other aspects however they still denied the application insinuating that we are incapable of caring for the cat (I personally have a cat that I spoil to no ends). The founder came out speaking to us very rudely and saying that they can take us to court and whatnot. I do not mind as I did not lie in the application or in anything else about our situation. This makes me feel as though they are racist and judgmental. We were watched by the founder as we left as though we were going to take the kitty with us . Furthermore, it's not like this cat cafe is the best one out there. I've been to multiple cat cafes and none have been this stinky and you can smell it from outside. There were no litter boxes in sight (it would be like needing to pee but all the restroom doors are locked) and only one water fountain. Also, there were kitties that smell like actual throw up. If you are visiting to play with kitties then it is a great experience! The staff is super friendly and kitties are so cute but the founder was not. This was just my experience and take it with a grain of salt as everyone's experience is different. I am just upset by the way they treated my mother as she is hardworking, smart, and kind. read more

Came to visit for the first time and had an amazing experience! For it cost $27.60 for my BF and I to spend an hour with multiple rooms of super sweet kitties...( we actually ended up staying for an hour and a half ) the ladies working that day were very nice and gave us a walkthrough of the rooms and explained why some of the cats were separated from others (kittens that had not received their shots yet but were being socialized, some were not friendly to other cats, and some were sick and needed to be quarantined from other cats). The bonded pair Elena and Naomi were my BFs favorites, where it was hard not to take them all home, especially the sweet but shy Scooter! The lap kitty making biscuits on my bf is Max. Will absolutely be returning! read more

Such a cute place to visit! In the Vista Ridge mall. Spend an hour with playful cats, help them get more socialized, and your money goes to this rescue. What could be better? The cats are well cared for, and the workers knew them all by name and their personalities. Clean facility with lots of hiding/sitting places and toys for the cats to play with. Kid friendly too. I could spend a long time here! There's a cute gift shop up front too. All of the employees were kind. Fun way to spend your time and help out some cats! read more

LOVE the idea of the Cat Cafe but a few things... Strong cat litter (not urine) smell from outside. Have cats, you'll know the smell. Once inside, no problem. Cool to see/be with the cats, and the staff seems mostly friendly. Was looking to adopt a specific feline. Through the PetFinder site, they did not respond for weeks! Then finally did reply! (2+ weeks?) Went to go visit with the cat, found they have a LONG app and have to get "corporate" approval for everything too! (HUH!?!?) And fee is $195/175 (young/adult). Waited several days, no contact or updates from them. Now see that the cat is not available anymore! (adopted) WHAT!?!? Though like the idea of the Cat Cafe, will NOT be looking to them for getting another feline for the family. read more

I can wholeheartedly recommend this little Cat Cafe tucked away inside of the mall. The cats are friendly and healthy, the rooms provide plenty of stimulation and hiding spots for them, and there are clear sanitation guidelines. The staff was really pleasant and eager to answer questions. I went early on a Sunday and it wasn't busy, so I do not know what covid precautions are being taken other than mask mandates and hand washing. I can't wait to go again! read more

My daughter and I were introduced to the concept of a Cat Cafe in Thailand. The Charming Cat Cafe is the altruistic and local version of what we visited overseas. It takes rescue cats out of the shelters and allows them a safe place to strut their 'real personality' for 'hoomans' to witness, fall in love with them and then (hopefully ) adopt them. For those of us (me) who have met their max of 'fur-babies,' you can spend an hour or so getting your kitty-fix AND help a great cause. There's a fee, but that keeps the doors open, cats fed, and I can only imagine the amount of liter! Smell is kept to a minimum. Staff is very helpful. Volunteers are so sweet! read more

Tucked inside the Music Mall is a great place to spend a lunch on a mommy daughter date with a daughter who is super compassionate about cats! The cats are very sweet and also very playful. When to sign up for a timeslot to socialize with the cats you get discount coupons at the local mall eateries. We grabbed pizza and coffee (for me) and headed back to enjoy the cat company. The staff and cats especially were very charming indeed. And the theme rooms were adorable and such a cool relaxed environment for the cats to reside before they are adopted! read more

Loved the cafe and that they have a section where they keep the felv positive cats and since I got there I just wanted to be in there to spend time with them. I've had 3 felv positive cats in my life and knowing how hard it is for people to adopt them or even go and play with them just breaks my heart. So I just wanted to go in there and show them that they are amazing and deserve love so much love. The ability to live their life the happiest they can till it's over. Playing with kyle was amazing as he reminded me of one of my cats. I love this place and hope they continue helping out the little fur babies. read more

I can't have cats because of our pups but I love that I can come here and enjoy the company of beautiful cats. It's $7 for 30 mins and $10 for an hour. Not bad and you get a cute sticker badge to wear with the time and date of your visit. I kept mine as a memento. The staff member was very warm and welcoming. She informed us of what the Charming Cat Cafe is all about. Gave us helpful hints such as opening one door at a time, close it, and then open the next one to avoid having a cat sneak out. Asked us to handwash our hands before and after. Introduced us to the resident cats and told us a bit of history about them and current projects. I really enjoyed my time there and wanted to stay longer but my friend and I had other responsibilities to attend to. It was fun and loved the atmosphere. It was not crowded with people so that made it possible to have great quality time with the cats. Also, do not expect coffee. I was under the impression that I could order food and drinks while surrounded by cats but that's not the case here. Either way, I hope to come back soon. Oooh, you can watch the live streaming of the resident cats. read more

The Charming Cat Corner - Sweet kitties that love to be in your lap - Pet Stores Near Me - Lewisville, Texas

Underwhelming experience. Place is stinky, pictures online ended up being misleading. I came here thinking I'd get to play with some cats and pet/cuddle with them to relieve some stress. None of the cats wanted to be touched, one of them even scratched me when I tried to pet her. I pretty much just watched them the whole time. When I first walked in I paid for the whole hour but didn't even stay for half an hour because I felt like I was just wasting my time by that point. I thought I liked cats but this place made me realize I'm not a cat person after all, lol ‍ I liked how one of the girls gave me a tour of the place and she told me to let her know if I needed anything. I understand the way the cats behaved isn't the owner's fault. I just expected more and felt like I got excited for nothing. read more

This is the third cat cafe I've ever been to and this place was probably my favorite! Right away, I love how they decorated a mall space and made it cute and whimsical. There were also more cats here than the other cafes I've been to with a variety of ages, colors and personalities. You can tell the staff takes good care of the cats but they also have great customer service as well. There were several rooms with props but everything was still very well kept and clean too! This place was a great find and I'd definitely come more if I lived closer. read more

What a lovely little place to come when you need some cat love. There is nothing short of 50 cats here for you to take home today! Admission is totally reasonable and you'll leave needing to take a cat home, even if you have 3 like me! ( I didn't take one home :( ). The place is super clean seeing as how they have a grip of cats. There are tons of toys and trees for the cats to play with and climb on. The employees really seem to care for the cats as well. Each room has it's own theme and music and you can always find a cat that wants to sit in your lap or eat your hair. There are also some great spots in here to catch some photos. They also sell kitty themed merch! Everyone that comes in has to put their information into the system so it seems really safe for the kitties and the environment. I'll definitely return when I need my cat fix again! read more

The Charming Cat Cafe exemplifies the human-animal bond. Upon arrival at The Charming Cat Cafe in Music City Mall, we were greeted by very friendly and informative staff that had us read over rules and sign a waiver. The venue was very clean and had many different attractions and things we could do with the cats. They have themed rooms that we went and sat in and also rooms for special needs cats too. This is a great place to expose yourself and your family to cats if you haven't owned a cat before or haven't in a while, all while socializing the cats (which are also up for adoption) to better them as pets. Thank you for a wonderful time The Charming Cat Cafe, we look forward to visiting again in the future! read more

Stopped in to play with cats and left with a kitten haha. Loved the set up paid $7.50 for 30 minutes of playtime. Fell in love with Gilly. Who we changed her name to Mazy. We were nervous how our current cat would do with a new cat. But it's been going well. Mazy played with bigger and older cats at the cafe so she knows how to play. Had some issues registering her microchip it wanted me to put in a credit card just to register her chip and get all these added things that we didn't need. So we registered through 24 pet watch. So that was my only complaint I guess besides paying the $10 for a card board carrier to bring her home. Which I can't be mad about I should have known we'd want to come home with a cat. Was disappointed that after we paid to learn they aren't doing free first exams due to covid. I understand why they can't offer it. But I think the adoption fee should be lowered slightly since that was a perk to adopt with them. I'd definitely adopt with them again regardless. Staff was friendly and caring. The facility was also clean and well kept. Either way no regrets we love Mazy she is doing well and adjusting into our home nicely read more

Place was a lot of fun. There were about 25 cats to love on. All of the cats were super friendly and social, which I didn't expect. We were taken on a tour of the facility and had fun playing with all the kitties. I ended up adopting the sweetest most laid back cat. The adoption process was thorough and efficient. They asked some really good questions and got to know me and my lifestyle. Which is good because it means their cats go to some great homes. A lot of animal rescue places can be really capricious about who they choose or not choose to adopt their animals out to. Based on recent experiences of a friend that tried to adopt a kitty from this place recently, I have to warn folks that unfortunately, this is one of those places. They basically began the process, got lackluster responses from the cafe adoption staff, then several weeks later were turned down on the cat they had in mind after the staff changed their minds and decided not to adopt the cat out, to anyone...and for not very convincing reasons. And the staff didnt seem very concerned about the potential adoptees, their feelings about the disappointing process, offer up other cats for adoption, etc. So...some folks may end up having a good experience, but honestly, you would be better off going to a city pound or the SPCA, where the staff is more consistent, professional, and are really interested in adopting out animals...to everyone. read more
