Private Event Service…read more Coordinated a client event with DeDee Kassa; according to her voicemail, I happened to connect with her the day she got back and she definitely hit the ground running. She was wonderful end-to-end. A menu of our client's preselected items was provided, as well as the main menu in case anyone wanted to order other items. There was also an abundant à la carte drink menu. Onsite in previewing the room, met a manager, Joy Funk, an absolute delight. It was clear our client would be in good hands. Update Edit: Our client gave shoutouts regarding the experience and the food & service were spot on! Appreciate you all, Jazz

I think the chef got a little overzealous when seasoning that batch. Haha. The asparagus came out and it looked really good. The taste was a match! It was our first time and we weren't sure how things worked so let me help you out if you are reading this. A small plate is indeed a small plate of whatever you order. You can share to you cannot. But if you go the small plate route , you'll want to order between 3 and 4 items per person. The large plates are meals. The atmosphere was as expected. This would make a good date night. You could dress up or you could dress down. Either way, you'll be right at home. Our waitress Gabby did a great job and she was super helpful. My wife is allergic to rice so Gabby made sure to check with the chef about cross contamination and what was good for her on the menu and what not. Super appreciative of that. My wife tried two different sans spirits drinks. The espresso tonic. I tried it also. Big no! It has tonic espresso and grapefruit juice. Those did not vibe. We sent it back. She then tried the Purple Rain and loved it. All in all, it's a good spot and I'm glad we tried it. I think next time we will go exclusively with the large plates. The small plate route was kind of expensive for what we got and we didn't get a lot of food. We both actually left hungry. We are not drinkers but we accompanied two of our friends who are and they enjoyed the wine selection.

I've been dining here since I was in High School - trying to impress my dates - and 35 years later it's even better than I remember. I even got engaged here 15 years ago. The service here is just unequalled. I walked through the front door and was immediately greeted by name - they just know somehow (magic). And the server became a good friend by the time we left. The ambiance takes you back to old-world France - simply gorgeous. The food was amazing as usual. I had the Beef Wellington with foie gras and it was cooked perfectly. The wine was amazing. Everyone loved their food. They knew it was our friend's birthday and brought them a free little desert treat. More than ever, L'Auberge is not just a restaurant, it's a magical experience worthy of being a culinary destination. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

And, if you get lost easily even with GPS, you might arrive with the gift of daylight. Especially if you are not familiar with Great Falls. The drive does really double the charm of the meal, here. I love the old world aesthetic of L'Auberge Chez Francois. It is intimate, elevated, classic and offers many diners Alsatian meals to remember. I used my hiring bonus to take a new hire here. We both enjoyed steaks. It's been awhile but I loved the French Onion Soup and whatever fabulous steak they were offering that season. I just took a look at the current menu and if I was ordering this season, the Chateaubriand de l'Auberge - for two - is looking like the winner. I think they have their own garden which the vegetables with the steak come with. We went in the evening, so I didn't get to see the lush gardens pictured on their website. And I am sure the béarnaise and truffle sauce are divine. I might have enjoyed a hot soufflé here. The current soufflé options, aside from the dessert tray, are Grand Marnier, Chocolate and Raspberry. Where else can you find 3 variations of soufflé? For that matter, where can you enjoy soufflés, at all? Definitely check their event list for the special wine dinners and musical events at www.laubergechezfrancois.com. Happy Hours are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6pm. At time of writing, their famed Garlic bread and salads range between $6 to $10 and small plates range between $15 and $20. Craft beers, wine and cocktails range between $7 and $12. L'Auberge Chez Francois is a lovely and special place to dine and celebrate.

My fave was the Castella D'Alba (a red blend from Portugal). They offer charcuterie options. It's not a large space so if visiting with a group, reservations are recommended! I can't wait to visit again.

The waitress was wonderful and allowed us to eat outside as long as we also purchased food from their menu. Sure no problem I'll take the $10 olives....even though we planned on ordering a bottle of wine. The service was lovely, wine was delish, olives were olives. EXCEPT when the check comes and there is a $20 dollar open bottle fee that was never told To you. When we asked they simply said well it's on our menu. So our $30 bottle of wine now cost us $50. What a freaking rip off. This should be reiterated by the waitress when ordering to ensure customers are aware. I had just said to my fiancé that I will definitely come back... however after that shit no way. I'll go buy a bottle from the store next time and eat my damn pizza at home. Bad business motto for sure.. no wonder we were the only ones in there.

SERVICE: First time we just walk in and they couldn't sit us for about 20min, each time telling to wait and do not leave. What could be easily solved by getting us on wait list with time approximation. Next time we decided to avoid trouble and booked few days in advance, just to realize that reservation actually not getting you a table We came on time and were asked to wait. Fine, no problems. After 30 min standing outside( because people were coming and leaving) we came in and asked about our table, confused hostess was trying to find reservation again, after she completed the task we were asked to wait.... Then they lead us to a table with strangers and only 2 free sits( we were party of 4)To cut the struggle I said that there are few free tables outside and we are fine to stay there, and finely were settled. The waitress brought us menus and we haven't seen her for the next 20 min... FOOD: the choice is not very wide, but there are some interesting options. I will say the restaurant is elegant and beautiful, and the food was savory and sweet just amazing, but it is the staff who went above and beyond to make the high tea memorable. This is my third bridal shower. I have given at the Ritz Carlton in Tyson's corner, and I would go no other place. Let me start out by mentioning a few exceptional people. I started planning this in the beginning of the year and Sriram Hariharan is one of the most giving, caring and supportive person I know. He put me in touch with all the right resources. He would follow up to see how things are going. I would say his detail to customer service and experience is exceptional. Next is Rohit Ray who assisted every step of the way helping me with my attendee numbers , the set up design and more. He was there throughout the whole party. Rohit's kindness and grace that is unwavering. Finally, our server Astrid. She oversaw my last shower in January and I know we were in good hands when I saw her last Saturday. she is truly A+. She made sure the event went smoothly. Was proactive in helping us get things organized, and when one of the guests reported she was a vegetarian she made changes so her tea party food was vegetarian. The entire celebration was impeccable. I had 26 people attend and one person shared they've experienced three high teas in London and the experience at this party was the best one yet. After the party ended, I received so many calls telling me how elegant the party was, how exceptional the service was. And how wonderful all the food was. I will give honorable mention to Smail and the director of valet who helped us bring up the party favors and flowers and more. my heart is full. It was a magical experience we will continue to talk about.

During dinner, there was live music which created a nice ambiance. I ordered the half roast chicken and chicken Bryani. The half roast chicken was disappointing. The breast was dry and flavorless. The bed of corn and beans reminds me of something you pull from the freezer. The chicken bryani could use more seasoning and spices. Dinner menu seems to be the same as the dinner menu from last year. Breakfast we ordered the chicken and waffles and also the lobster eggs Benedict. The chicken and waffle was cooked fresh. Chicken crispy and juicy. Waffle fluffy. The lobster Benedict was a let down. Eggs were cooked nicely but the lobster bits were mushy. Overall the room was nice and the food was hit or miss.
