Buyer beware at The Cell Wireless!!! I bought a phone there about 45 days ago, a Nexus 5x. The phone got the dreaded bootloop of death after about 17 days of having it. No problem, I thought, they have a 30 day guarantee on their used phones. Took it back and they replaced it with the same model, great! Fast-forward 28 days, and the phone is not meeting my expectations - won't connect to my car's bluetooth, freezes up all the time. I thought, hey, maybe they'll stand behind their product and let me exchange this for a different phone. I went in there with a wad of cash ready to exchange for a much nicer phone, but they were unwilling to honor their 30 day guarantee, since it had been about 45 days from the purchase of the original (failed) phone. They offered to "buy back" the phone for a significantly lower amount than I had paid. Crooks. Bottom line, if you buy a phone from here (DON'T), you'd better hope it fails right away. If it fails on day 29, you'll have one day with the new phone before their "guarantee" runs out. read more

Nope, not here. My iPhone got wet which destroyed my display screen. Within 10 minutes of entering their store I had an exact replacement at a very competitive price, they connected the new phone to my provider, and I was out the door. Absolutely awful. They sold me an iPhone 7 and said "it's unlocked for any carrier" I put my SIM card in and 3 days later the phone is blacklisted as stolen. I tried to tell them it no longer worked and they didn't refund or exchange it. No wonder they only allow payments in cash. If I had paid with credit or debit I'd be contacting my bank since they wouldn't refund. Unfortunately paying with cash the bank can't help, I think they know that. Do not buy anything from this store. Ever. Edit* I do have my receipt and I am a past, one time customer of theirs. I walked out with a previously owned iphone in excellent condition, case included and had no complaints. After dropping that phone about a year later on the beach as the wave rolled in, I went back for a replacement and upgraded. I don't have any experience with their phones, just their customer service. I wanted to buy a phone from them but when I called to ask a few questions about their warranty, they rudely said they were too busy and hung up on me. I can understand being busy but hanging up on customers who are willing to spend hundreds of dollars in your store is really a bad business plan. Other stores put people on hold. Bottom Line - I don't know if their phones are cheaper than the rest or if they work or not. I just know they are rude and not interested in making a sale, which is fine by me since I don't want to give them my money now anyways. read more

Excellent service and unbeatable prices. My i Phone screen broke completely so I was desperate to get a new one. The guys at the store not only helped me pick the right replacement (an used iPhone 6 ES with 180GB memory for $270 that still works like a new phone now months into it), but he also helped me download all my old pictures to my laptop using a temporary screen, free of charge. Needed a SIM card cut (from micro to nano for an iPhone 5S). It was $5 and took 30 seconds, worked great. Cricket (down the street) wanted $21 for a new nano SIM (though the guy told me it's $10 if you order on line and pick it up in the store). What a waste compared to this store. There were a ton of cases though a little pricy at $15 each. There were also lots of used phones (including many iphones) at not crazy prices (though you can do better on craigslist). It was definitely an easier process compared to going to Verizon and getting an upgrade, so this way the phone could just be activated and still eligible for an upgrade! It was a one-stop shop for me. I knew the phone and service I wanted but MetroPCS didn't have the phone at a price I could deal with so I went to The Cell. A great guy named Ki showed me what he had available (second hand, tested with 7 day warranty) and when I mentioned a good camera was important to me he immediately told me which one had more MP's--very knowledgeable! He was waiting for the unlock code for one I chose -- said he could email it to me, and gave me his number in case I had any problems. Sure enough, a couple hours later while still out and about, I checked on a friend's iPad and was able to unlock and use it while still shopping. Both Ki and the girl he was working with were friendly, helpful and the whole experience was a whole lot more fun than the indifferent sad sacks that hate their jobs at MetroPcs. Very pleased with my experience at The Cell Wireless. I was in the market for an iPhone 5 (yes, I know it's 4 years old), and since it was my first time buying an iPhone, I researched them and found out that there could be a lot of pitfalls: 1) iCloud lock. 2) passcode lock. 3) Network lock. 4) Bad IMEI/blacklisted. 5) near-dead battery. 6) compatibility with H20 wireless. My options were: 1) Craigslist. 2) ebay. 3) Gazelle.com. 4) buying a used one in a store. Only #3 and #4 would have some moneyback guarantee, just in case something didn't work out. Luckily I was browsing Craigslist and The Cell Wireless had an ad up. Their IPhone 5's were competitively priced with Gazelle and I wouldn't have to pay postage for having it mailed to me, or to return it. I stopped by the store, and checked out the 2 iPhone 5s that they had. They inserted my H20 SIM to show me that the phone worked with it. I asked if I could register it on iCloud and they said "yes". I went with the iPhone 5C. I made a quick trip to the bank (the store is cash-only) and became the new owner of an iPhone 5. Within a day, I saw that the battery was good, and the phone registered on iCloud, no problem at all. I am very pleased with my purchase. I liked the way that they held my hand (I'm an iPhone novice) through the process. It's true that I could have saved maybe $50 by buying an IPhone 5 from someone on Craigslist, but the peace of mind I got from buying at an actual store was worth it. read more

Please be really careful with those ppl I just bought a Samsung galaxy s7 FOR 170$ it's so slow it doesn't really work well when I contact the seller 2/3days later after I bought the phone and explain them the phone is not really working that good and I need to return it or change it everything they told me was no returns we can only do exchange and they were trying to charge me extra money they dont even give you a couple days to see if the phone is really working or not.
