Excellent spot for a nice meal with great music playing in the background. Get a resi. Place is tiny and they do have outdoor dining. Wouldn't recommend a large group because it is too small. Food was delicious. We did dinner but would love to brunch their too.

Nice spot for brunch! The espresso martini was delicious with a touch of baileys. The steak and eggs were tasty, but the potato latke was a little too stiff and cold. The overall service was great. I recommend this place if you want a quick bite on a Saturday or Sunday morning!

Kind of small and intimate dining situation with small room to move in between tables, especially when everyone brings coats. Service was okay-it was pretty busy but we had to ask twice for bottles of water when we were just seated too. Drinks are strong and delicious! I tried a couple but think my favorite was probably honeybee. The burger was well done and cooked as requested, fries were fresh and crunchy!

Still a good place for indoor brunch but be wary of ordering online for pickup. Because i had work to do in the house and castello is relatively close by and they have potato latkes, I decided to do a pickup order through the page provided on their website and not through Uber eats or similar. Put in my order at 11:10 approx and I received a text that my order was inputted and I would be notified when it was ready plus the order status on the phone page. It was an hour and a half later when there was no movement on the text nor the status page (no phone calls either). So I decided to go and see by chance if the place was busy or something went wrong. I arrived and it took a while for someone at the bar to ask what I needed. Turns out my order was there but they didn't input it that it was ready. As a result, the food was well cold. I did expect it to be slightly cold by the time I got home but not when I picked up the order Even now, the order status still is stuck on " accepted by staff." Now the food is still good and I would go back but if you were to do pickup, I would probably call in, head inside or use a third party instead

This place truly makes you feel at home, like everyone knows you and you are truly welcomed. The service was superb, everyone said hello to us as we walked in and they were so accommodating. Our server gave us great drink recommendations and they were by far the MOST delicious drinks we've had in ages! They truly hit the spot! Our chicken dinner was superb, very flavorful and filling and the atmosphere was lovely to boot. Will absolutely be back to this cozy and tasty nook in Brooklyn.

So I've come out of the cold....starting to snow and I figure delaying going home is a smart move. I'm told to sit wherever I want. I find a nice table near the front door. It may be a mistake with people coming in, letting in the cold air, but I'm fine. A young man named Gabriel, promptly comes over with a menu. He's back in a few, and I ask him to recommend a red wine. Not surprised, his favorite is a 2020 Paradosso D'Abruzzo Montepuchiano at $10 a glass After a few minutes a young woman comes over and takes my order. I go with an endive salad with red and yellow endive, arugula, candied walnuts, Gorgonzola with a citrus vinaigrette The salad is huge and I dig in to an amazing creation. Just the combination of flavors especially the candied walnuts are so satisfying. This salad is huge and I'm thinking it needs to be wrapped up My main course, is uncharacteristically, a grass/fed beef burger. It comes and I'm like...WOW! Delicious. The beef is medium fine with cheddar red onions and tomato on a brioche bun. I crazily ordered salad with it! Just after I couldn't eat the endive salad. No biggie.. Gabriel is happy to bring over a side of fries. Which are crisp and not at all greasy This meal so far has been a blast. Just so satisfying! This place has earned those 4 stars.

I ordered the croissant sandwich, and added bacon. Delish!

This place is my favorite brunch spot in the neighborhood. I've never gone and the food has not been delicious!

The white wine mushroom dish, artichoke crostini, truffle fries, and apple cider drink all BOMB . Just as amazing as the food and drinks are the super friendly staff with their amazing southern accents and fun country music

Every time I come here for drinks at night, I am shocked by how there are only a few others as I'd expect it to be a lot more crowded given the lovely ambiance and quality of cocktails. The Castello Plan is by far my favorite spot for drinks in the area. Such an amazing spot definitely deserves more attention. But I do love that it tends not to be crowded because it feels really intimate and cozy. They have a good weekend brunch menu as well. I've tried their chicken and waffles (topped with strawberries) as well as their crab Benedict. I wasn't super impressed by the crab Benedict and it didn't come with that much crab, but I would recommend the chicken and waffles. If you opt for their bottomless brunch deal, they serve a greater variety of drinks than other places that do bottomless and it is definitely worth the price. I've been here several times so far and know I'll be coming back again and again. Taste | 4.5 Atmosphere | 5 Presentation | 4.5 Service | 4.5 OVERALL | 5

My friend ordered the butterfly field mocktail, which I highly recommend if you're not in the mood for alcohol, it was absolutely delicious. I ordered two of their signature cocktails: Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (best way I can describe it is it's like a high end cologne in cocktail form, but in the best way possible? Very complex flavors) and the Queen of the Desert (cool refreshing cucumber followed by a spicy heat in the back of your throat, grew on me over time). Food was also quite good. I enjoyed the truffle popcorn and I still have no idea how they made those lemongrass chicken ginger dumplings so yummy (I normally don't even like chicken dumplings bc they're usually not as juicy as pork, but these didn't have that problem). They gave us a tiny sample of one of their house-made liquors at the end-- let me tell you, I'm not the biggest fan of just having liquor on its own but dang, that went down sooooo smoothly.

I put it in my back pocket as a place I might go in the future. I was recently walking in the area when I noticed a sign saying it was open for coffee. Of course I went to check it out. At the main counter, they serve the classics (mocha, latte, chai, matcha) plus a few specials. My cookie butter matcha (with oat and flavored syrup) was less than 6 dollars. It wasn't my favorite matcha, it was a pretty good deal in comparison to other cafes in the area. They have a coffee club where you pay $40 a month for free drinks (coffee or tea based), 10% of items like cocktails, food and wine. Plus you are able to use their wifi in their space which has a funky plush aesthetic. Definitely good for people who need a place to work. It is an interesting way of using this space in the morning. Of course I was told about their happy hour and the jazz Mondays. I would come back to attend that.
