After picking up a sub to bring back to Markham on Labour Day, I hit this Chuck's for lunch. This restaurant is in a huge plaza with lots of parking. I parked at around 1:30 pm on Labour Day and walked in. This location has been around since 2015. I had no idea. Better late than figuring it out a decade later, I suppose. I was greeted by a male staff member and got to sit at a table near the bar. I had a bartender as my server. She was highly efficient. I feel that she would be a good lawyer. She was serious, helpful, and to the point with her questions. I got my usual, which is sirloin steak and lobster, with corn on the cob, mashed potatoes with gravy, and clarified butter. My mashed potato substitution was an extra $2. I felt like comfort food, so I was good. I'd say about ten minutes later, my food came out. Yay! The sirloin steak was done medium well, which was perfect. The lobster was sweet. I am the type who tries getting as much meat out of the tail area as possible. I succeeded, but ended up launching the cleaned-out shell onto the floor. For a flying good time, call me. I love clarified butter. Mine was a bit lumpy, though. I stirred it up and there were still lumps. The flavour was good, though. I continued dunking practically all my food in it. My mashed potatoes with gravy hit the spot. I loved the generous gravy that I got. So good! My corn was done well. The downside was that it was cold. So, my rating is really 3.5 stars. I appreciated how efficient my server was. I'd come back to give dessert a chance to fit into my stomach. (372)

As we walked in we were very pleasantly surprised. The place is super nice. Booths on the left and right and a beautiful bar to balance it off. We had made a reservation and as we checked in we were upgraded to the private room in the back. And man would I love to have this setup at home. Wall sized screen, tv for sports and nice comfy chairs. A quick tutorial on the system which is very intuitive and we were off on our round. Yes a little different than the real thing but pretty awesome experience. The service is top notch. The beers are cold and I really could spend a lot of time here. It is $45/hr and they say you who led budget one hour for each player for 18 holes. We will definitely be back!

First of all, We placed our order over the phone with an employee that spoke clear English. You would think this would be a given, but this has been an issue with two of the other local pizza shops. I've had to hang up the phone after having to repeat my toppings three times, but I digress. The deal on the website for two large pizzas was well priced, and delivery was free, however we opted to get out of the house and drive to the shop to pick up our order. Waiting for us at the pizzeria was a fairly typical looking pizza parlour. A couple tables and chairs for eating in, and barstools on one side along with four friendly employees behind the counter. What surprised me was seeing the topping station directly behind the cash register, not behind a wall or at the back of the shop like most places. I took notice that the workstation looked quite clean and the toppings appeared fresh. My wife approached the counter as I was looking around and asked for our order and an employee brought the two pizzas from atop the oven. Now this is the part that surprised me, he faced the boxes towards us and opened each box one at a time to make sure they were correct and to our liking. That was a really nice touch. I mentioned to my wife how amazing the pizzas looked. Thick and lots of toppings, not thin and sparse like a lot of places. After we payed and went to the car, my wife commented that the pizzas were quite heavy. We had no idea what we had gotten ourselves into. When we arrived home and opened the pizzas, I noticed that my bacon topping were actually large pieces of chopped up bacon strips. Literally twice as much bacon topping when compared to typical pizza shops. And the bacon was DELICIOUS. It tasted exactly like you would imagine a great strip of freshly fried bacon should taste. We lifted two slices onto each of our plates and noticed just how thick the pizza really was. There was a lot of topping on this pie my friends. A lot. My wife is lactose intolerant, so she has to get a cheese free pizza. Typically, this pizza is a pretty sad facsimile of what pizza should be. However, even her pie looked delicious to me. It was topped high with toppings even without the cheese. Ladies and gentlemen, these pizza were delicious and satisfyingly filling. We had more pizza leftovers than we would from typical shops, but not for lack of trying. These slices were so packed with toppings, we should have stopped at three slices. We ended up eating four each, but only out of habit. Only three next time. My belly is very full right now. So there you have it. This is NOT a typical pizza shop. We will order from there again when we have a pizza craving and if our following experiences are anything like our first, we will be plenty happy.
