Beef dip. Hubby was worried it would be too salty, but he's pleasantly surprised at how nice it is! Changed the bun to brioche

Nice, quiet and intimate space. Really nice server and good presentation of food! Main complaint is the price....it's about $3 too much over each item on the menu. However, as I gripe about the price...each person at the table just commented on how delicious their meals are.... okay...maybe worth it?..! We were surprised with a fancy dry ice, ice cream for our kid's meal dessert!

I am impressed with this place. It's close to the Cinemax VIP theatre. We walked right in and ordered nachos, chicken alfredo, and Cobb salad with salmon. Everything was delicious! Our waitress and the other servers were super friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I went to see a movie at the Cineplex VIP for my birthday. When the movie was over, it was just past 3 pm. We were both hungry. I looked across the parking lot and saw Moxie's. I love the place. He had never been there. Perfect! We drove over there. We walked in. It wasn't busy, as we had arrived at an odd time. We waited for someone to come over. I admired the beautiful wine bottles displayed beautifully in front of us. A server came over. We got to choose where we wanted to sit. We chose a booth that would typically seat six people. Instead, we sat next to each other. The ambiance is cozy, a bit dark, and comfortable. It was perfect, as we were holding hands and being all lovey-dovey. Sorry if I'm making your eyes roll, but it was nice. The heatwave as of late has not made me eat as much as I typically do. Instead, I have been eating lighter meals. I went with the lemon basil salmon. The salmon is cooked medium rare by default, which I don't mind. It comes with ancient grains (it's like wild rice, but better), sauteed spinach, broccoli, a grilled lemon, all in a lemon basil sauce. The dish was amazingly delicious. The salmon was flavourful, flaky, and grilled perfectly. I loved the ancient grains. It was a nice alternative to regular fluffy rice. The lemon basil sauce was delightful. The lemon and basil worked well together, and immediately brightened everything. I squeezed the grilled lemon all over everything. As a lemon freak, I was a happy camper. My boyfriend got the burger. The burger. Yep, that's its formal name. It had a cute little pickle skewered through the top of the bun. It came with fries. He loves a good burger. He wolfed it down in what seemed to be record time. The beef was flavourful and juicy. He enjoyed the bun that was lightly toasted. He also inhaled the fries, occasionally coming up for air to dip them in ketchup. We both had Diet Pepsi. You get free refills. We had a wonderful dining experience here. You pay a bit more here ($25 for my salmon dish and $15 for his burger combo), but the food was yummy to us that it was fine. I'd come back here again. I love the desserts at Moxie's. When my appetite comes back, I'd go for it. (241)

My parents came to visit me for the weekend and they decided to take me out for lunch (yay). We ended up at this Moxie's in Kitchener and if you've been to this chain before nothing will stand out to you. We got the calamari to start and it was really good. The sweet and sour sauce that comes with it is one of the best sauces. For mains, my dad and I got the ribs and my mom got the miso ramen. The ramen really is mediocre at best. If you're looking for ramen this really isn't the place to eat. The broth is very bland and the rest of the dish just tastes like green onions. The ribs are not as tender as you would imagine. The sauce is good but the rib quality seems like it's frozen (though I'm not entirely sure). For dessert we had the brownie which is delicious. I would recommend this to finish up your meal.

Had a nice lunch on the patio here. Moxie's has lots of nice vegetarian options which I appreciated.

Clearly has seen better days. Beginning to be frayed at the edges. Food was average at best.

Honestly a solid 2/5 for this restaurant. For what your paying for, definitely search around for any other eat outs. The first time I went I left really hungry, so did all of my family for their portions and we all got a big gap of types of entrées, from fish - burgers - pasta. The second time I came I ordered a sandwich and it looked so similar to sandwiches at tim Hortons and SO much more expensive. Not recommended.

I went there for dinner and the nachos have cut back so much. Barely any cheese or toppings. The wings were also burnt.

What made it more odd is that half is an Indian food restaurant and the other half seems to be what is left from a country themed bar. This place thoroughly had me boggled in terms of its vibe. Fajitas, pastas, burgers and a selection of Indian foods. Had the samosas, they were good and freshly cooked. Fajitas (chicken)- lots of veggies, not much meat- no cheese- weird. Half rack ribs- came out piping hot and tender- not bad at all for the price and side of fresh grilled peppers was decent. Caesar- meh. Server and kitchen weren't really prepared for our group even though booked quite awhile ago- think there was only one chef and one server. Took 40 min to get food out, no drink refills offered. Waitress refused to change an order- though it was not sent to the kitchen yet. TBH I was worried that this place might give me food poisoning- it just has this weird ick feeling. I made it out fine- so did my family but some in our party didn't feel too great later- blue cheese dressing maybe be the culprit or the wings- but likely the dressing. Would not go back purely for the poor service and vibe. The food was okay, I've had worse but hard no on the ambiance.

It is in a conveiniet location just off Highway 8, making it a convenient stop if you are travelling. The space was formerly occupied by Milton's Restaurant, which closed after being boycotted by customers due to accommodating a service dog. Arriving for lunch, we were surprised to be the only customers in the large space. Apparently, business has yet to pick up following the demise of Milton's The friendly staff greeted us with smiles and took our order right away. The drinks arrived promptly. The Mango Lassi-Style shake was refreshing, nicely displayed, and had a vibrant Mango taste The Special Dessert Shake was outatanding: thick, sweet but not cloying; and topped with Pistachios. The shake had a delicate pistachio flavour and hints of vailla. The club sandwich was tasty, nicely seasoned and substabtial; no paper thing deli sliced chicken here, but rather a large, juicy chicken breast. While somewhat untraditional, my husband pronounced it delicious and flavorful. My daughter and I opted to share a pepperoni pizza, and it was terrific! Perfect balance of sauce and toppings: molter, stretchy cheese, and a beautiful crust thet was simultaneously crisp, airy and very flavorful. I am extremely picky about pizza crust, finding the vast majority of crusts to be a bland, flavorless staging area for toppings. The pepperoni also stood out. None of those greasy slices which lie on your pizza like flattened, somewhat edible poker chips. Rather, these slices curled up to form little cup like rounds, with a nice porky flavor and delicately crisp edges. When we complimented on the food, the attentive waitstaff summoned the chef to come out to meet us, I was thrilled to talk about crust, food and the restaurant with him. I really hope that this restaurant does well. I did not review the decor (my main thing is the food), but the decor is dated. Something as simple as a new paint job would make the space feel airy and envigorated, and signal new management and a break from the past. The Three Idiots deserves to succeed. If you are in Kitchener, or on your way to another destination, give the Three.Idiots a try.
