Apparently, business has yet to pick up following the demise of Milton's The friendly staff greeted us with smiles and took our order right away. The drinks arrived promptly. The Mango Lassi-Style shake was refreshing, nicely displayed, and had a vibrant Mango taste The Special Dessert Shake was outatanding: thick, sweet but not cloying; and topped with Pistachios. The shake had a delicate pistachio flavour and hints of vailla. The club sandwich was tasty, nicely seasoned and substabtial; no paper thing deli sliced chicken here, but rather a large, juicy chicken breast. While somewhat untraditional, my husband pronounced it delicious and flavorful. My daughter and I opted to share a pepperoni pizza, and it was terrific! Perfect balance of sauce and toppings: molter, stretchy cheese, and a beautiful crust thet was simultaneously crisp, airy and very flavorful. I am extremely picky about pizza crust, finding the vast majority of crusts to be a bland, flavorless staging area for toppings. The pepperoni also stood out. None of those greasy slices which lie on your pizza like flattened, somewhat edible poker chips. Rather, these slices curled up to form little cup like rounds, with a nice porky flavor and delicately crisp edges. When we complimented on the food, the attentive waitstaff summoned the chef to come out to meet us, I was thrilled to talk about crust, food and the restaurant with him. I really hope that this restaurant does well. I did not review the decor (my main thing is the food), but the decor is dated. Something as simple as a new paint job would make the space feel airy and envigorated, and signal new management and a break from the past. The Three Idiots deserves to succeed.
