The hubs ordered a Sunrise surge smoothie- mango pineapple strawberry carrot dates watermelon coconut water and beet ginger swirl! We even got 2 juices to go and they were great! They're super smooth too no chewy bits or anything! I love that these are all so delicious veggies and fruit with no added sugars! In general, I think I still do prefer sweetgreen, but sometimes it's nice to switch it up. What you see is what you get - you can expect a fast, healthy meal. You order at the counter and your salad is prepared on the spot. The staff seemed good about knowing what went in each bowl. The space was modern and clean, so I enjoyed eating my meal there. I walked back to my hotel with the salad and realized there was way too much dressing, but the salad was still yummy. I probably would have saved some of the salad for later, but it was sopping in dressing so I felt the need to finish it upon the 1st eating session. It was very delicious and filling and only 550 calories so I am really happy about that. In the store I noticed there were a ton of to-go orders stacked on the wall. So next time I would do a to-go order and simply pick it up. The cheese in the dish is visibly melted in some areas but not others, the broccoli is overcooked and tastes bland (whereas before it had a fresh, bright green color). I wouldn't be surprised if, in their expansions in becoming a chain, that their suppliers have changed and they might be event cutting corners on sourcing cheap, low quality vegetables. That would be such an insult though to the original mission of Life Alive and what they still claim to do. At least they still have nice staff.
