    Almond Croissant

Very reasonably priced sandwich place with nice staff. We got the Almond Croissant, Roast Beef & Brie, and Pastrami & Swiss. We got the sandwiches with all the fixings, as recommended and they were great. The place felt very homey and we sat to do work for a bit. They were lovely.

Absolutely faboulous. I have came here for 15 years and this place never disappoints. Their coffee is exquisite with a balanced sweetness and the best caprese sandwich I have had in my life (called the rústica special). The staff are so kind and are at this point friends and the cafe is quaint and super welcoming. A true gem in Boston.

Sweet sweet man took our order. We sat down in this small cafe. It's not the prettiest inside. Limited seating. The space could use a minor refresh. Lots of customers for Sunday lunch. We ordered coffee, egg sandwich, and roast beef with Brie. Everything was yummy. I could do without the black pepper in my sandwich but still was really great. Street parking so if it's not a Sunday might be hard to find one.

A lovely and quiet little cafe that offers delicious coffees and some baked goods. Service was very friendly and the coffee was top tier. The bagel was fresh and a good size. This cafe is perfect for a quick pick me up. Tables are open with a 45 min limit per customer but not sure if that's applicable when it's slow. There is also a table outside for outside dining with lots of nearby benches. The owners gave my pup a sizable amount of treats. We will definitely be coming back. :)

the turkey provolone sandwich was fire! so flavorful and a great price for the portion size. the service is TERRIFIC, such good vibes as soon as you walk in the door :)

Delicious sandwiches, great and friendly service, and excellent cappuccinos! Plus the green salad includes lots of real veggies not just lettuce.

Everything bagel with egg and avocado

I ordered 2 everything bagels with egg and avocado. The price is really cheap compared to some other cafes in the area, so if you're a college student or looking for a quick bite, this is the place for you. However, judging purely off of taste, the egg was a bit under-salted for me. All in all, a pretty decent spot!

I used to live right down the street from this cute little cafe and decided to finally give it a try a few days before moving away! Definitely regret not stopping by sooner, it was a nice experience! The staff were very friendly and kind upon entering. There were no other customers ( I came on a weekday in the early afternoon ) but in the mornings, I know it can be a lot busier as people are grabbing breakfast and coffee. I got a sandwich and coffee, both things were made relatively quickly. I ended up taking out, but they have seats inside and outside which I'm sure would've been a pleasant experience. The food itself was great - I highly recommend ordering in person rather than on any third party food app as the prices are noticeably more expensive if you do ( I saw that the sandwich I wanted was ~$11 on the app but only ~$9 in store ). I decided to go with prosciutto and provolone and didn't regret it! It was very cleanly made and very filling for the price. The coffee I bought as well tasted really fresh and had just the right sweetness ( they asked if I wanted to adjust it before I left as well ). Overall I loved this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back to try more of their menu. Thanks for the great food and kind service, Cafe Rustica!

They're definitely more heavy handed on the sauce, so request light dressing or have it on the side if you're not lots of dressing. I also found the cutlets to be pretty sparse and dry, and the bread was just not good in texture or flavor. Service was fine, it took 20 mins to come out which was longer than I expected, and the space is small but has some seating. I might sound old, but the music was very loud and abrasive, so I didn't finish the other half of the sandwich and left. For $15 it wasn't my kinda sandwich so I probably won't be back.

Serving Harvard Square since 1966, this tiny old-school pizza shop has become a true Cambridge institution and the longtime home of the famous "Harvard Square pizza" -- a fitting nickname considering both its location and the iconic square-shaped Sicilian slices that have helped make the place legendary. The restaurant itself is small and unpretentious, which only adds to its charm. Many people grab their slices to go, but we were fortunate enough to find a quiet table tucked into the corner during our Saturday visit. The atmosphere feels frozen in time in the best possible way, with handwritten menu boards, walls covered in memorabilia, and decades of history surrounding you from every direction. The pizza itself is simple, satisfying, and very reasonably priced -- exactly the kind of place that generations of college students have appreciated over the years. The thick Sicilian slices remain the standout and deliver the kind of comforting, no-frills experience that places like this are built upon. What makes Noch's special is not just the pizza itself, but what the place represents. It feels authentic. In a world increasingly filled with polished corporate sameness, Pinocchio's still feels like a neighborhood institution that belongs uniquely to Harvard Square. Whether you are a student, alumnus, or simply visiting Cambridge for the first time, Pinocchio's is well worth stopping in for a slice, a little nostalgia, and a small taste of Harvard Square history.

Sizable fingers, but this style I call tenders, and tender they were. Crisp, but delicate, very much like fried clams, and the chicken underneath was tender and very moist. Good stuff with or without the dipping sauce. - Sauces: The honey mustard was smooth, slippery, sweet, and tangy. Very enjoyable. I also liked their Buffalo (more like straight Frank's) and Boom sauce (ranch with seasonings). - Fries: Very solid. Not sure if hand cut, but if they were frozen, they were unusually good. Lots of long pieces, and they tasted potatoey, not like industrial starch. - Coleslaw: Little to no vinegar, predominantly if not entirely mayo, but a thinned-down mayo, so not too heavy. Very crisp thin-cut cabbage, most likely in a mandolin. Enjoyable. Service: Very friendly.
