Their sign reads "best Asian market in town". Now, of course, anything that calls itself the "best…read more**** in town" leaves me skeptical. But...after stopping in while visiting family in Taylors, I may be forced to agree with the sign. What a tremendous selection! One caveat...this is only the "best Asian market in town" if you are looking for Chinese/Vietnamese ingredients. For this, they win simply because they are HUGE and therefore stock tons of ingredients. If you are looking for Thai, Korean, Malaysian, etc...you're best bet is still probably Saigon Market (closer to downtown on Wade Hampton)...and I'm STILL looking for a local market that offers fresh Kafir lime leaves (truly, a crucial component to a delicious "Tom Yum" soup...shrimp or chicken). Alas, my search continues....

They had everything I was looking for. They had Kimchee!!! And shrimp chips, shin ramen, and even Asian non grocery items, like asian shampoos, soaps, dishes, and even a pair of shoes!!! I went and explored the whole grocery store with a friend that introduced me to the place, and we were in there for an hour!!! I will be going back over and over again. Very pleased to have found another Asian Grocery Store in Non Asia South Carolina. They are located only 1/2 a mile from Walmart on Wade Hampton in Taylors and they are on the same side as Walmart behind the BB&T Bank in a little shopping plaza. So go check them out today! They take debit, but only with a $10.00 minimum.

Chef Monique was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and was so easy to work with. She provided wonderful feedback during the planning stages and then worked to create a stellar menu matched to my husband's tastes and preferences. The dinner that Chef Monique and her team created was spectacular. We were all blown away by the flavors and the professionalism of the team. It was truly a night to remember and Chef Monique went out of her way to ensure that everyone was satisfied and to deliver an exceptional experience for all of us. I will also say that there was a snowstorm the weekend of our dinner that had knocked out power lines and made for some tricky driving situations. Chef Monique and her team planned their entire day around our dinner and drove several hours out of their way to make it over the Pass safely and arrive on-time to start the prep work and cooking. It would have been completely understandable if the team had to cancel because of the inclement weather situation, but we were so incredibly appreciative of Chef Monique's dedication. Hands down, it was one of the best culinary experiences we've ever had!!

Her communication throughout the planning process was easy, professional and prompt. She not only created delicious dishes but she helped with florals, printed menus, and decor which added so many beautiful touches to our evening. The menu included Spanish charcuterie, 7 diverse tapas, a hearty mixed paella, decadent dessert and the perfect wine pairing. Every bite was mouthwatering! Chef Monique's staff was professional and attentive. We so much appreciated that she took time to explain each dish and its ingredients. This experience was truly unforgettable and we hope to work with the Crave team again!

Everything went well! We were early for dinner due to a…read morelocal performance at 5:45 so we arrived very early for dinner at 4:50 on a Friday. Informed booths were reserved fir 6:30 reservations, but our timeline fit and they accommodated us. Then we had a beer fiasco, i ordered a blue moon, they only have it in a bottle, i prefer draft. They have a Carolina Ale on draft, perfect, but they bring me half a glass (comped) since the keg was a dead soldier. So then the bartender comes over and says I get to choose the next keg from amongst two options, one is Allagash White - i said, thats it, not even hearing the other since this is an award winning Belgian wheat beer akin to Blue Moon....but it turns out the keg is Allagash Dark, so i reverted to their lager which was Comfort something or other. It was just a big laugh for us all. But, cool that i had a shot at keg picking. My pizza was a small, individual, Taylors Station (New York style, marinara sauce, pepperoni, salami, Italian sausage, red yellow and orange bell peppers, black olives and red onion). The toppings were well distributed across the pizza providing a full bite, every bite. The marinara was good, maybe if picky it could've had more spice, the crust was substantial yet thin and held all the ingredients and didn't flop. So, this is a 9.63 out of ten. (Get it?!) My wife enjoyed her wedge salad and the cheese wedge potato fries. It was all very good and left us wondering why we have waited ai long to come back here. But driving into the mill village to get to the old bleachery is like driving through Escape From New York type setting, perfect abandoned old factories and a great place to film a horror movie. Which kind of adds to the overall vibe in a good way that there is this Shangri-La type regentrification in the midst of the apocalyptic surroundings. Make reservations if arriving at the busy time!
