Mehhh. We went to the host stand and the hostess had her back facing us. She was rude and sat us. We sat and sat and we wondered why we weren't being greeted yet. I finally stopped someone and she said that she was supposed to be our server but didn't know she was supposed to be our server because nobody told her. Food was pretty good, although eggs were overcooked. Our server did a good job, but the manager who greeted us seemed angry to be there. One of the workers came by our table and dumped extra butter and creamers on the table, telling us he planned to refill the table after we left. It would have been nice if he had waited until we finished our breakfast. The restaurant is fairly clean, but tired-looking and the vibe is not friendly at all. The food is unfortunately not good unless you are into rubber bacon or super salty biscuits n gravy. Also barely warm waffles. Not sure that anyone really cares about what they are producing or the locals have set the bar low for quality. Nice eggs up location. It has a bigger outdoor seating area than the one in Spartanburg. The Spartanburg location's indoor seating is a lot larger so I guess it evens out. As for the food, it's what I expected. It's up to Eggs Up standards (which is great). read more

I was CRAVING grits, bacon and buttered toast after a gastro procedure. Eggs Up Grill provided that in short order. Although is was cool and windy, we chose to dine outside. Christine was our server and was friendly, helpful and delightful. She kept our coffee and water topped off! However, for $13.99, we did get what we paid for. One of our meals was missing eggs, and we didn't receive them until about 10 minutes after we were all finished eating and ready to leave. Though some of the entrees were tasty, the service was pretty bad. My son ordered chicken fried steak and eggs-delivered to the table with no eggs or gravy. We politely asked our waitress to bring the eggs and some gravy - it never appeared. Asked for straws- no straws. Waited forever for the check after we asked for it. This location is the most disappointing of the ones in the Greenville area. Food is adequate. I appreciate that they offer gluten free pancakes. They taste pretty good. The eggs and bacon weren't great. The coffee isn't great but don't bother with the specialty coffees-- it's from a machine like you'd see at a cheap hotel breakfast. Service is friendly enough. I ordered steak and eggs, the steak was suppose to be medium and was cooked well done and literally it tasted old in addition to super tough, I threw it away, because my dog would probably chock and die on it if I would of feed it that nasty steak. Table for 2 for breakfast. This place was a short 7 minute walk from our hotel, in downtown Greenville. We entered and were greeted warmly. The place had a nice crowd, but we were seated quickly, without a reservation. Our server came by quickly to drop off our waters and take out drink orders. She soon after dropped off our 2 cups of house coffee. Unfortunately, I did not like the coffee, it was just weak and watery. We also asked our server for some straws and utensils, but she must have gotten distracted because it took awhile to make it back to the table. We reviewed the pretty extensive menu. There were plenty of sweet and savory options to choose from. Wifey decided to get the Banana Pudding French Toast and I decided on the SouthWest Skillet. We were enjoying the music while we waited for about 30+ mins for the food to arrive. This was slow to arrive for my taste. Wifey loved her french toast and I loved my skillet. The food was the highlight of this visit. While we were waiting for the check, I noticed a young man, clearing the tables after the guests left, dropped a fork on the floor. I went to an event last night in downtown Greenville and the food there was (aiiiiiight lol; I'm picky) but I woke up starving and I'm broadcasting from a hotel here and I get up at 0430 ... So I said and am texting all that to simply say, I had the triple cheeseburger with extra bacon and home fries with onions and green peppers this morning and it was the best burger I had THIS year .. I've given this location its second try today and was disappointed, again. Waited for the host for a couple minutes, the restaurant wasn't busy but he was MIA. Wanted to sit outside but several tables weren't cleared yet so just sat inside. The booth had a strong smell of Raid. I could smell it the entire time it was horrible. They operate so chaotically in there and it really was not busy so I am not sure why. Our food took FOREVER! It was just me and my son, I got the BLT with an egg and he got the pick 3 kids meal. There is zero reason that should have taken an hour. If it was jammed packed, people waiting, I'd understand to an extent. But there was none of that! Empty tables inside and out. Finally once our food came my toddler was throwing a tantrum because he wanted to go. So the we sat and waited to be acknowledged again to get a box and go.
