Usually they have a special that includes a variety of breakfast choices- maybe fried eggs, sausage, pancakes, potatoes, and coffee- for a very reasonable price. While breakfast is a big draw, I prefer lunch. I love places where you get a some great Southern home-cooking, and Memo's does not disappoint. The actual place is very old and unappealing from the road, but it is often fairly busy. I ordered from drive thru. Everything went smoothly. The employee was nice. The building itself is very uninviting all around. Definitely needs a make over. Would I go back? Probably not. Although the Big burger, which is a double, was tasty. The price tag of $8.50 is too high. No drink, just the sandwich. I can grab a better burger down the road and cheaper. I am glad I stopped by to try it.

All of our food was super hot, and the waitress brought it to our numbered table. the service was gracious, and they checked back to see that our food was OK and whether we wanted a refill on our drinks. Zachary and GEORGE ordered burgers with french fries and onion rings. The burgers were not grilled, they were steamed. The fries and onion rings were crispy. George thought that the Batter was a bit too crispy and he couldn't taste the onion. On the other hand, Ellis and I thought the onion rings were crispy, hot and delicious.
