My favorite experience involved a pesky mouse problem we had in our kitchen...a lesser exterminator probably would have just kept putting down more traps and more poison. BioTech explained that you can and should seal off your kitchen so there are no holes large enough for a mouse to enter. They did this, but we kept seeing the mouse. They kept coming back (probably 5-6 times) at no extra charge, each time searching and finding an additional entry point. Eventually, they got them all, and we've never had a mouse since! Thanks, BioTech!

I think they may have canceled or rescheduled more appointments than they actually showed up for. Today was typical: a few months ago they told me they would come today between 10 and 12. I got an email yesterday confirming my appointment for today -- between 2 and 4. In the end it didn't matter because no one showed up. I texted them around 4:30 and about 20 minutes later they called and said that their technician would be late (yes: obviously, since he was already late). So now I went on ChatGPT and it looked at their invoice and explained exactly what DIY stuff I would need every 3-4 months to easily do exactly what I was paying BioTech to do, at one-tenth the price.

I cannot say enough about highland. We called the in for an inspection after discovering suspicious…read morebites. They helped us identify them so we could inform our building. Our building hired a company for the first two treatments. It was an incredibly traumatic experience that ended with us throwing a lot of stuff away, spending hours and hundreds on drying clothes/replacing bedding/etc. When we were done with our first two treatments with a different company, we had Highland come back in for an Aprehend preventative treatment and before we moved we had Julia and Raven (her BB pup) come in for an inspection. We also had highland pretreat our new house and furniture with Aprehend before we unpacked from the old apartment. Every single person we worked with was kind, professional, and understanding. My biggest thanks go out to Julia and Raven, but also to Deirdre and Nicole in the main office. Since the bed bugs I have been diagnosed with PTSD, which means I am now constantly on alert for anything suspicious. Strange stains, weird looking bugs, etc. They could have been making TONS of money off of me. Instead, they will inspect photos, explain why what is in the photo is most likely not bed bug related and offer an inspection if we would like one, but never pressure us if they believe there is is not a problem. It's like having a trained friend to tell you that everything will be ok. I know I can trust them and they will be out in a second to treat if they ever see anything suspicious, but they will never try to exploit the fact that I always assume the worst.

I was really impressed with my experience with AR1 group. The woman who answered the phone when I…read morerequested an appointment was polite and friendly got me an appointment in a day and a half. I was shocked when Anthony arrived on time. Maybe it's just me but so often when I call a service provider they are wide of the mark for timeliness, for pest control, appliance repair, HVAC techs, what have you. Anthony was right on time and wore his booties. He checked out the situation and told me what I did and didn't need. Because my issues are coming from the kitchen and my kitchen is being remodeled in two weeks, he recommended to do nothing at this time and explained to me why I saw the mouse I did, that he was acting erratic because he encountered some of the rat poison and it messed him up and he is probably going off to die now, which felt reassuring. He didn't charge me anything for coming, which I'm always surprised and impressed with. Anthony is super friendly and personable, I never know if I will feel uncomfortable having a male tech come to the house when my boyfriend isn't home, but he just seems like a nice normal man you can easily have a conversation with. I pray to never ever need pest control services again, but I will call Anthony if I do, and I recommend you do the same.
