My Mother-In-Law introduced me to Robyn, The Bug Guy. She's a lovely person, but she can be very picky, especially about cleanliness and getting her money's worth. You could EAT of her floors, and won't tolerate bugs in her house for an instant. She's the one who recommended Robyn, The Bug Guy to me. I know that if she likes him, I will like him. I have been using Robyn for about 4 years now, and have always been very happy with his service. He's prompt, throught, and his prices are very reasonable. At his last visit, today, I mentioned that I didn't know where the flies were coming from. He said it could be from a neighbor's yard. I have an abandoned house in my neighborhood, and Robyn took a peek in their backyard to see if there was an issue. He didn't think the abandoned pool was causing my issue, but he was concerned about mosquitoes. I called the Bug Guy today because we had a small infestation of bugs and I didn't want to go into the weekend worrying about them. He was very responsive, answered the phone right away and had a friendly, professional voice. He was able to come out to our place in cave creek by the afternoon. I had called other places prior to him and either didn't get a response or no one could come out today. He was able to tell me what kind of bug we had, explained his treatment and gave me the option to choose if we wanted the whole house sprayed or just the area with bugs. He was knowledgeable and took care of the situation right away. He also takes credit cards which is convenient! I've only given 2 stars here because Robin is such a nice guy--but no businessman. I've referred people to him, yet he has disappointed me. It is difficult to schedule with him. He does not return phone calls right away, and when he says he will call, he doesn't. He came recently & I told him about a wasp problem, yet he said it was nothing. I've had countless wasps that have come into my bathroom & he has not returned my calls. At this point, I will tell the few people that I've sent his way, not to use him. If I could give Robin 100 stars, I would. He is super service-oriented and has a wonderful personality. Not to mention the chemical cocktail he uses kicks ass! I have used several other services and no chemical concoction wipes out bugs the way that Robin's does. I gave Robyn a call to ask him about the ants in my kitchen and the trap I had setup that was collecting them. I was ready to have him come out to exterminate them but he basically told me that the system I had going was great and that was all I needed to do. My little system got rid all of the ants in a day like Robyn said it would and now my kitchen is ant free. I own apartment buildings in Phoenix, and have used Robin for 3 years now. I am so impressed with Robin's work product and professionalism that I joined yelp just to give him a glowing review. He provides a quarterly service that is very reasonably priced. This quarterly service alone keeps out almost all pests. On rare occasions when there is a pest flare up (as there always will be with rental properties if your tenants keep a dirty home), Robin gets there immediately to treat it and cures it in one shot. The man stands behind his work, and does not quit until the problem is solved and you are satisfied. One more note...he is quite skilled at proactively identifying potential problem areas before they become a problem...this has saved me a lot of time and money in the past. Mike (a John Candy type guy) called right back....... showed up .... sprayed the heck out of everything... was very personable,, fun to chat with while he worked.. and seemed to know about bugs... went over everything twice.. I called Mike technician for The Bug Guy LLC, because I had a infestation of spiders. It had gotten the point we didn't want our son playing outside. He came within 48 hours of calling him and he made sure to spray everywhere he could inside and out. Within a few days after he sprayed we noticed there were no more spiders. We also had a bad cockroach problem in our kitchen, he got rid of them as well. Mike comes once a month to insure that the bugs don't return. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure we know everything we need to know about the bugs and the different pesticides he uses. read more

I wanted to make sure to provide an update to my previous comment. Robyn contacted my husband and also my sister to apologize for his unresponsiveness. He had several things come up during the holidays, which we understand. While we would have appreciated to have gotten some feedback from him before, we decided to give him a second chance. He has been very proactive at making sure that our pest control needs are being serve. Both my sister and I had appointments with him this past January and everything went fantastic. He contacted us then again this past February and set up our monthly follow up. He show up once again on time and has promised us to stay on a regular schedule and continued to be proactive. He has showed us he wants our business and we certainly want the pest control product he uses. As I stated on my comment below, my sister did get to see a few dead scorpions even weeks after Robyn sprayed the first time. We are satisfied with this responsiveness and he has earned our business back. We certainly recommend him to get rid of bugs and scorpions as we have seen his product work. read more

Robin used to run a great business. He is a very nice guy but I think it got out of hand for him. He no longer calls when he says he will, he takes his time returning calls and flat out doesn't show up for scheduled appointments with lame excuses hours after the appt time. He out sourced our job to an older gentleman who had to sit down several times for water breaks and apparently sprayed water because our problem was not phased. We have ants in the bathroom not monster roaches or anything crazy like that...We called Robin 2 weeks later and he apologized promising to come respray to solve our issue before a party we were hosting a month down the road. We didn't hear from him for awhile and finally we called him back and made 2 appointments! He showed up to neither and cancelled them several hours after the appt time. Ridiculous way to conduct business! In the end we had to contact another company to do the job correctly. Thanks Robin! We have now paid twice for one service. Thanks for a complete waste of time! I will call my friends that I referred to you and tell them to quit you as well. Maybe when you lose more customers you'll learn how to be a better business man...I wish this thing would let you give no stars..but one will have to do.
