I visited this place this weekend for the first time. I was helped by Alicia and she gave me great customer service, she was very courteous and patient while she explained the menu to me. I ended up ordering the Cajun fries and they were awesome. I would definitely recommend this place as the food tastes great and the customer service is by far the best I have experienced in a restaurant of this type. My husbands been wanting to try this place out and it look really good. He got the buffalo fries original hot they were really good. I got 5 PC traditional garlic parmesean wings and small fries with everything on the side as I was going to share with my daughter. I got my fries with everything on top. I was trying to save the ones that had nothing on them. I ended up ordering a side of just fries. Then after I sorted all of that issue I realized I only got 4 wings!!! I was so pissed but I didn't want to go and complain again as I hate to be that person and because I didn't want them to simply say I'm lying. I called ahead of time to make an order at 4:21 i arrived at 4:37 and when i got there nobody was in the front. I had to wait 7 minutes for someone to attend me. Then when they finally did i expected my order to be ready. Keep in mind there was NOBODY in the store, it was empty!!! And its been 40 minutes ! 6 people have gotten their order ahead of me!!! I've gone to this store many times, ever since it first opened near me. Every single time I got the same thing, buffalo fries with pineapple jalepeno sauce. This time was no different. But when I got my order it is wasn't right it was garlic parmasean. Instead of simply asking if I wanted a refund or to fix it, I was immediately accused of telling her the wrong order. She told me that "I told her something different and now I'm trying to change it." She then says they won't give me a different item because this one was already made. I'm Alergic to garlic and I tell her this and she asks me to wait one second. 15 minutes goes by and she just tells me there is nothing they will do because it's my fault for not speaking clearly. She tells me if I would want the item I said that they would charge me for that one as well. I ask for a refund, they will agree to that but not a replacement for some reason. I get to the counter asking for a refund and before giving me a refund I'm asked why I told her an order I didn't want. I simply ask for my refund and leave I will never come here again because I don't want to feel accused for a simple misunderstanding that could be solved so much easier. There are many other wing places in San Diego that are just as good if not better that will provide great service. read more

So I used to visit regularly The Buffalo Spot in Compton but ever since I moved the one in Lakewood is closer to me. (Thank God they opened one out here) I do have to say though I love the service there and Isabel, Myriam always greet me with a smile-I always have to leave a tip. They make me feel welcome and although I know what I want they always recommend I try new flavors. I never do but it's the thought that counts. I don't know what kind of magic they work in the kitchen but I'm always coming back for more. They are open late on the weekend too. I still have to visit the one in Lakewood but if I am ever in doubt, I do not mind making the drive to The Compton Buffalo Spot. read more
