The lady working there was very nice, explained everything clearly, and the costs for 3 box lunches a breakfast burrito and a green juice was only 35 dollars. Since then, they have expanded their offerings to corporate businesses (at my previous job, there's a vending refrigerator with rotating entrees), brick & mortars in food deserts as well as affluent areas all over L.A. & Orange Counties, & a subscription plan to deliver their meals right to your door. Their concept/business model is to reduce the costs of the standard restaurant model, not a "true" restaurant where you place your order & wait for it to be cooked. An offsite local kitchen prepares all the grab & go meals, & delivers them to the brick & mortars. While I haven't seen the YEE intros (Kale Caesar Salad with Chicken, Vietnamese Chicken Salad, & Ensalada Fresca), they've more than made up for it & expanded their menu with family meals, wraps & sandwiches, breakfast, snacks. The curry chicken & salmon has been a mainstay for years, & is our favs: chicken for me & salmon for my husband. Usually I'm okay with Everytable for lunch, but it's not substantial enough for dinner & will add an extra side of protein to satisfy our hunger. While they are "hot meals," I sometimes eat it straight out of the container. My husband always heats his plate; he likes his food hot. One of my other go-to hot plates is the Jamaican Jerk Chicken (jerk chicken, coconut grains & beans, collard greens, sweet plantains, jerk BBQ sauce), but it wasn't available at this visit. Servings are proportionate, though, it seems on the smaller size for adults IMO; hot plates & salads: 12 oz. - 14 oz., wraps/sandwiches: 9 oz. - 12 oz. that I need to supplement with a extra side of protein or snack, which makes the meal $10+. Otherwise price points run between $5.50 - $9.00, depending on the restaurant location & item. The Compton location is larger than the other storefronts with a large communal table in the center, a few window bar seats, & small tables running along the left wall of the entrance. The food is delicious and my favorite by far is the trap curry chicken...it is amazing! The service is always great too. They offer a meal delivery service via DoorDash, as well as internally, I had been seeing this place around the Internet for sometime, and after seeing it on doordash, had to give it a try. For a busy professional like me, tasty pre packaged meals are a plus. This is both affordable as well as so good! Meals are around $6-8 on average. A good portion size, and comparable to more expensive meal prep companies in the area. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Everything appears fresh! This company thrives on being located in areas where they may not necessarily even offer prepackaged food. They hire people from disadvantaged backgrounds and are located in disadvantaged areas. There is even a program where employees can apply to be owner operators of a branch. I looked up the company values and founder and The founder plans to establish many more locations. It feels good supporting a place that is doing something about food insecurity and nutrition and places where people may not have access to it. My coworker had been going to this place once a week or once every two weeks for her lunches and after she told me it's about $5-9 at most for a meal, I told her you better take me next time! So off I went last week! Store: organized by sections of type of foods and drinks, loved that! There's the nutritional facts/macros listed on the bowls/cartons, double score if you're counting! WHY so cheap? It's run by teens who make the food everyday fresh and portions of the cost go to those who need meals, you too also can purchase a meal for a kid/teen in need, pretty sweet I say! So the story is, the items are priced based on the income of the area. For example, the Citrus Pecan Salad is $6.95 in Brentwood. But I paid $5.95 for it at this Compton location. It was tasty too! It had arugula, roasted squash, mandarin oranges, cucumbers, quinoa, and pecans. Not to be confused with the V which stands for vegetarian. I'm not gonna lie, I'd probably be scared driving here by myself. But once you're inside the store, it's bright, clean, and friendly. I've tried many of their meals and have enjoyed most of them. The spaghetti and zucchini noodles are good. Other meals include Thai curry chicken and jambalaya. Went this morning for the first time and I've gotta admit I'm impressed! I just heard about this place last week on IG and FB. I was so pleased to find fresh healthy options available that I didn't have to drive to Santa Monica to get! We need and deserve more options like this in our black and brown neighborhoods. EVERYTABLE IS 4 EVERYBODY...... I am so glad I discovered this place the other day. I happened to get a flyer saying that this spot had just opened up and that is was featured on Shark Tank...their was a coupon that was buy one bowl and get one free.... so I was like why not everyone likes FREE... so as I walked in I looked around to see what they had on the menu, but to my surprise this was all pre-packed food...
