The buffalo fries are hands down the best! For my first visit, I was hesitant to go with the regular sized fries because of the price ($7.99 by the way) but after the first bite, I didn't regret it. Place was clean, nice decor. It was my first time here, I was torn between all the flavors. I decided to get the garlic parmesan fries. No regrets. My goal is to try all the flavors here. I have no desire to try the wings or the ribs. From the pictures and reviews the wings don't look to promising. So I'll just keep myself from being disappointed. This place has good food and there happens to be a spot around the corner from where I live in Compton. And I ALWAYS CALL IN MY ORDER SO I can just stop by , pay and wait for my order. Today out of all days that I'm trying to have me a good salad, I walk in and go do the usual. Get in front of the register that has a BIG sign hanging above saying "PHONE ORDERS" and so I patiently wait on the cashier named "Manuel" to get off the phone so that when he gets off he tells me "oh you need to get in the end of the line" I got upset because 1.he had a chance to tell me that before he got on the phone 2. By the end of his phone call the line had grown double the size. 3. I was freaking HUNGRY! 4. I call and speak to the manager " Laura" and I tell her what happened and she wants to say that there was only one cashier and I needed to go to the end of the line. Mind you there where 2 other lady's (including the manager) that could of come and help make the line shorter to top it off I ask for corporate's # and she gives me the wrong #!!! I love the fries they are amazing. But fries alone are the only thing I'll be ordering now. Everytime I get buffalo fries the wings are simply terrible. They're soggy and not even in the form of a wing it's as if they grabbed it tried to separate it but it but some pieces stayed together and it turns everything soggy. Just imagine the hood classic Chili Cheese Fries but instead of the chili and cheese on top of a plate of fries, you get Buffalo Wings in the flavor of your choosing (think Wingstop but more and interesting flavors...Jamaican Jerk anyone?). First off I'd like to say that this place is definitely a hidden gem. Makes the expression "a hole in the wall" seem pretentious since it seamlessly fits with its surroundings, but the inside has somewhat of a nice attempt to modernism. It being my first time there, I asked the lovely cashier, Stephanie, if she could make a recommendation. She graciously recited all the popular requests with ease. I ordered the regular spicy buffalo fries and to my misfortune received a small. I brought it to the cashiers attention and she quickly resolved the discrepancy with my order. She even gave me a sample of the pineapple jalapeño sauce, but to my dismay felt like it was not what I expected. Nevertheless, my order of fries was delicious.
