Breakfast was so good! Great service and nice little hidden spot on this side of town! We got the all meat omelette and strawberry French toast both were really good!

Hidden gem! Yummy breakfast. Everything came out better than expected! Forgot to take a photo before we started eating!

Great menu, great service. I'm paleo and liked the a la carte section. Everyone was happy with their food.

First time and I must say this little hidden place did not disappoint the food was great and the service was excellent as well, great little family oriented spot would recommend have to return and try out lunch on another day. Great job.

When it comes to food I always prefer being able to support local business/mom and pop shops. The chorizo eggs with potato and beans brought me back to breakfast with my grandparents in Mexico. This neighborhood cafe has amazing service, the staff are so friendly and the place itself is very clean. What I loved and most definitely recommend is the green salsa, I personally can't handle spicy food but when my mom told me to try it..try it. The TASTE of the salsa is delicious and has that hint of Mexico. Although I unfortunately didn't get to try the pancakes, I'll most definitely be coming back again to try them! American food with the Mexican taste!

Food was served piping hot and I had to let it cool down. Never ever had that. Omelets were fluffy and full of meat and veggies Cool music playing in the background. Staff was great. Clean place and really neat atmosphere. Dives are my favorite.

Cute little hidden gem. Food tasted great! The only two things I would suggest are better butter knives (it was hard to cut the French toast) and adding a sugar free syrup option would be nice.

Stopped by today at around 7:30 in the morning. The atmosphere inside of the restaurant had a very "home made" feeling. Nice lobby music playing and the young man who served us was very polite. Ordered our food and it was out in about 10 minutes. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. It looked real good but in all honestly it looked better than it tasted. It wasn't horrible by any means, but I was expecting a better taste. Chicken had a slight frozen taste and waffles lacked flavor. Food came out in a timely manner and the temperature was just right. Chicken and waffles were a sizable portion. Syrup was warm as well. I did enjoy how the food complimented the atmosphere, it was very welcoming and warm, almost like the restaurant was hugging you. In all this was a decent mom and pop type restaurant. I would recommend you stop by and give it a try. I did only try one dish, maybe their other dishes are better.

Been wanting to try a spot that didn't open until 11am and thought to try this place out. There were a ton of reviews on Yelp complaining about prices which gave me a heads up to keep my eyes peeled on $$. Service: We came in and were immediately seated. I couldn't understand the negative reviews on their food as it was quickly getting packed and customer traffic was steady but nonstop; what I called the overflow area was also getting full. Liz was our server. Before the wave of people came, her and one other woman was helping with tables, then the older man began to help when needed. There was a younger man with glasses who also helped with refills and served our food (he was very respectful and professional) - I think it's family owned, and you will see that the effort to help is there when needed. You could see this as the place was nice and clean. Food: *If you're not a fan of veggies, this may not be the plate for you* Chorizo Omelet; good but needed a bit of salt. I didn't expect so many veggies or chunks of meat. I initially asked the server if their onions would be raw or sautéed. She said raw so I asked for no onion (receipt reflects this). They weren't raw, but was served on my plate despite the request; I let her know and when she went to tell someone, she came back with the receipt. The bell peppers were raw, but the meats, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and everything else came out good.(I'm not a salt person and didn't think it would be necessary with all these ingredients, but needed it) French Toast and 2 eggs w/ sausage: we ordered and received the eggs over medium. The bread was the perfect choice; came out nice and hot. The bread did not become soggy with the syrup. Woohoo! The prices on the menu was less then what was charged. Both plates were fulfilling but not worth the cost that they are now charging. When we brought up the issue with the receipt, she spoke to the other woman and told us that the prices did change (increased) but the menu wasn't updated - they corrected it.

Looking for a breakfast place close to downtown very easy to get to a very nice parking lot walked into a friendly staff we seated us at a table and goddess is wonderful, Mexican, hot chocolate to drink while we looked over the menu I ordered the stuff French toast with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon and my friend got cinnamon French toast with fresh fruit Restaurant is spotlessly clean A young man came by and was selling these wonderful, crunchy sugar and spice cookies that his grandmother made he was so enterprising. Next trip into San Antonio. Will make this our first stop.

Two eggs, country potatoes, and super crispy bacon

Very basic breakfast. I ordered ala carte. I ordered two eggs over medium, two orders of bacon, and country potatoes. I also got an apple juice. The eggs were over easy. Not a deal breaker. The country potatoes weren't anything to write home about. Luckily there was ketchup and cholula to bring in the flavor. The bacon was burnt. The apple juice was good. The service was great. This is a family ran business. I think they would do better hiring a chef. This was only so-so for me.

I finally made my way to this location on a Saturday morning at 10 AM right before it became super busy. What makes this location special is their medium roasted Guatemalan Bean and their tailored coffee creations. Their coffee is perfect. Not bitter, weak, or too strong. I think this is a great place for people who know what they want, but the ladies here are so kind and helpful and personally assisted me to create an amazing coffee. I ordered a blackberry cheesecake with almond milk and extra shot of espresso and requested the marshmallow toasted topping because I love aesthetics. The ambience inside is so home like and cozy and outside is so peaceful and quiet with fresh air. There is no Wi-Fi, but it's great because it helped make my coffee cost-effective( I was pleasantly very shocked). I had a great time chatting it up outside and enjoying pure freedom by living in the present moment. 10/10 experience so take a bestie or a good book and gooooo!

At first, from the outside, I thought I was walking into a barbershop because of the door, but stepping inside was a fun surprise. The space is really unique--almost like a mini indoor shopping mall. The coffee shop is right at the front, but as you walk further back, there's a barbershop and a few other small shops to explore. Despite all that, it still has a chill, relaxed vibe. Plenty of seating and big windows make it perfect for hanging out with a book. I ordered the Holiday Inn Cambodia coffee, and it was fantastic. the service was great. People come here to quietly socialize or just take a break from life for a few minutes. My second visit was mainly to get another one of those fantastic vanilla lattes but I also chose a chocolate croissant from their pastry case. However, parking was difficult and not very convenient. The coffee was good and smooth, but nothing that really stood out. It was solid quality, just not something I'd go out of my way for. One thing that surprised me was the price. My latte was listed at $7, but with all the extra charges for add-ons it quickly became $9+, which felt a bit pricey even coming from Chicago where coffee can already be expensive. What really affected the rating for me was the service speed. It was probably the slowest coffee service I've experienced. I waited about 15 minutes for two lattes, and there was only one other person ahead of me. For a simple order, that felt like a long time. Overall, it's a nice café with a clean, spacious atmosphere and decent coffee, but the pricing and slow service make it somewhere I'd visit occasionally rather than regularly.
