It's a convenient spot if you're staying at the hotel. The staff was less than desirable and seemed cold and bothered when our group would order a round of drinks. Yes, we were getting the specialty cocktails, but the bartenders made it obvious it was annoying. Aside from service, they had live music on Friday and Saturday night for a while, I think it ended fairly early (9-10) so it's not a late night option. We sat at the bar and my only complaint with that was that the stools were so bunched up next to each other that it made it hard to get into the chair. While staying at the Marriott we stopped here for a late night snack/meal and was pleasantly surprised how nice everything was. First the all glass atmospher is very cool with a Manhattan/posh style. The serve is also excellent and very friendly. Got the spicy chicken sandwich which was a little on the small side but decent. We then split the brownie a la mode which was very yummy and filling. Bar wise we had a couple glasses of wine. Bar menu isnt huge but everything they have seems to be nice and all speciality drinks made well. In contrast to all of Nashville's crazy places, The Bridge was a nice calm place for a discussion. Yes, The Bridge did have life music, but it wasn't blowing out your/my eardrums. This bar is outstanding! What a beautiful venue! I love the large glass windows. It's neat to see what's going on outside while enjoying cocktails or a bite to eat. I visited the bar a couple times while there. The bartenders were friendly, and welcoming. There is a variety of seating that is comfy and cozy. This bar was connected to my hotel, The Renaissance. It's a convenient place to come, but it's a little pricey. The place is pretty cool at night with it being a "Bridge" crossing Commerce Street. The view is good. However, during the day, it was very hot in there. The building is glass so the sun was beaming into the building. Actually, it was so uncomfortable during the daylight, that we got our drinks to go. The bar is open late, so it's a perfect place to stop for a drink before heading to the room. They also have a menu with some snacks to munch on before bedtime. It's convenient to the Hotel. Otherwise, it's not worth making a special trip to come. read more

Stopped in after getting in late in Nashville on road trip from Texas. We had two Woodford old fashion drinks. We ordered salads at the bar. The salads came quick and changes were made to order. I'm not usually a fan of hotel food, but OMG, these guys have some of the best sandwiches I've ever had in America!!! They do yummy focaccia toasted sandwiches with freshly grilled chicken breasts, pesto, etc. They also do wraps and cold subs. If I lived in Nashville, I'd go here every day for lunch! The only downside is that they are *very* popular at lunch time, so the line can be a bit long. Considering that they cook everything fresh, the wait isn't too bad. They also sell a limited range of Starbucks coffee & tea, and Krispy Kreme Donuts. Sandwiches are in the $6 - $7.50 range. The waitstaff are also really nice. read more

We stayed in Nashville and wanted to enjoy dinner at a more quieter location than the hundreds of alternative resturants that are complete with live music. The Bridge located inside the Renaissance hotel achived this. They offer a small menu and superb customer service. It's a hotel bar. Not much to brag about, but it is a great place to meet up prior to a night out for a drink and/or snack. Since it is next to the convention center, you can almost guarantee that there will be a fairly large group of convention/seminar goers. I met up with a friend yesterday evening for a pre-game cocktail. The live music was good, though a little loud (the room's acoustics don't help). I wish there were more fresh food options on the menu. Most everything was fried or heavy. I was hoping for a salad or some fruit, but settled on some pretzels with Yazoo beer cheese dip. I've always come here during show cases for Country shows. Its just a bar that serves food and is smack right in downtown Nashville. Has a cool view over the street and the busy life of the hotel guests as well as tourists. One thing for music is that it ECHOS so bad. It's hard to have a conversation and whoever is singing has a natural reverb in the place. I did order some food while listening. You pay def. more for hotel prices but it got me through the night and a few drinks. This place has delicious food with beautiful presentation. I would never have expected this from a hotel restaurant. I ate the California salad all three nights I was in town! I feel like this place gets undersold since it's a hotel bar. I really love the atmosphere here. Being over Commerce Street is a cool experience and has a great view of the city. The speciality cocktails they offer are delicious. My husband had a couple of absinthe drinks and he couldn't stop raving about how smooth they were. I had a Strawberry Caipiroska and a Southern Belle, both of which were amazing. We also shared some of their handmade potato chips which were, hands down, the best chips I've ever put in my mouth. If you're looking for a place to have a few drinks before a show at Ryman or TPAC, or before a Preds game, you really ought to check out The Bridge. read more

I am RAVING. This place is absolutely amazing. After a not so stellar customer service experience at the actual Renaissance Hotel, our service at The Bridge Bar & Restaurant was probably the best service I've ever received-- anywhere. I travel for business and pleasure all year long, from LA to Boston, and never experienced this level of customer care. Judy was so sweet right from the start. When we told her about my friend's unfortunate experience here in Nashville, from losing her cell phone/wallet, to getting locked out of our room in the middle of the night, Judy was SO sympathetic to everything we had been through, and immediately offered us an appetizer on the House. We ordered 2 (much needed) glasses of wine, and within a few minutes, John Campbell, the Director, came over and told us that Judy told him all about our stressful trip, and he had arranged for us to get a ride to the airport with the hotel's driver, free of charge! We really needed some positive vibes, and these two were like angels sent to save us! It doesn't stop there either ya'll, our drinks were on the House, as was our meal. I'm crying. Food, drinks, service, EVERYTHING was exceptional. I 100% recommend this Bar/Restaurant to anyone in the Nashville area. I will be coming back every time I'm here! Love, love, love. read more

Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville for 3 nights this past weekend. We ended up at The Bridge every night, and some of the afternoons. We loved it!
