Not only was last night the first time I've been to this restaurant, but it was the first time I've been to Westfield. The town and the restaurant were excellent! On a June Saturday night, there's outdoor dining all over and plenty of people. Friends of ours had previously dined at the Brick Oven and recommended it, so we met them there for dinner. It's a BYOB, which we always like. The service was very good. We had 2 waiters taking care of our table. They were attentive, but didn't rush us at all. We shared appetizers of garlic shrimp and portobello mushrooms, then split a couple of salads. The shrimp was very good, especially with bread to dip in the sauce. Our entrees ranged from balsamic chicken to my bracciole. The bracciole was very tender and delicious. We topped off the meal by splitting a tiramisu. If you're in Westfield looking for some good Italian food, I can recommend the Brick Oven!

BURNT .. then told me oh well deal with door dash! $32.00 for this !! They wouldn't even help me at all!

went for lunch and even though it was very busy we got our food in 10 minutes we immediately got served a big basket of red hot fresh baked rolls right out of the brick oven the lunch portion of my delicous spaghetti was huge big chunky homemade tomato sauce the thin perfectly crusty pizza had lots of fresh chopped mushrooms and artichoke hearts and thin rounds of eggplant soft mozzarella and just enough sauce once again fast and hot out of the brick oven on display in the back of the dining room we ate up the stairs that over looked the main dining room below , a lovely old fashioned atmosphere i can see why the brick oven has been in business same owners for over thirty years

This is the second time we've been here and the service is always great. The aesthetic is beautiful, dimly lit dining room which makes this the perfect intimate date night spot. We had Pizza alla Diavola, which was a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was the perfect amount of greasy with a thinner crust. We also ate a pasta special, which was homemade spicy pappardelle sautéed in a light marinara sauce with shrimp and little neck clams. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back!

Great outdoor seating and service. Some of the best eggplant parm I've had. Big menu and looking forward to going back.

Came here before the opening of a new brewery a few blocks away, very good experience! Food: when a place serves a very good free basket of bread, you know it's a good start. I ended up going with the ravioli along with my friend and my wife got the salad. We were also given chicken barley soup that came complimentary which was good, albeit thin. The ravioli was amazing though and definitely led to a solid meal. Service: our service was very good and prompt, though there were not many people there which may be why. Aesthetic: typical Italian restaurant style, really like the two different levels of seating. Very clean!

My friend and I came across this place as we were walking through Westfield. Decided on this place due to their ample outdoor seating area. They didn't have umbrellas up, so I did get sunburned - but that's kinda my fault for not wearing sunscreen. Anyway, the food is good enough. Fairly good Italian. What you expect and nothing more. I had the Insalata Di Bistro E Penne, which had GREAT grilled chicken. Falls apart easily and is warm and juicy. Colorful salad that is great for a moderate sized lunch. Service was fine. Would I come back? Meh, won't go out of my way. But, like I said, good enough and lovely outdoor dining.

Why 4 stars? Price honestly. Pizza is great but only personal. Imagine my surprise when my total was over 50.00 for 4 small pizzas. I can't deny these aren't authentic Italian pizzas but for over 12.50 per pop, I wouldn't have ordered this for a Friday night in with the kids (kids I nanny). Another concern- The margarita pizza was mediocre. I was expecting big circles of fresh mozzarella cheese. What I got was honestly just a "plain" pizza. Which makes that 12.50+ burn a little more. So why 4 stars? The eggplant parmesan pizza. Oh my! Wow. A whole star for just one pizza. See my attached photos! The eggplant was sliced so thin and baked just the right amount. If was I wasn't watching the minions; this pizza fresh and hot with a bottle would be the perfect date night. Other things to note- they don't deliver, so you have to call a delivery service. Which the restaurant provided no hassle! The kitchen was running behind so it took longer then the estimated delivery time. The delivery service was great at updating me on the ETA of the pizza.

I went on a Monday night, so it wasn't busy and we were seated right away. We ordered the baby spinach salad, calamari, and penne vodka. I liked all the food, but the salad had too much dressing. That was my fault because I didn't ask for less. Overall, our server was very nice and we enjoyed our meal.

While the company was great, the restaurant itself left much to be desired, resulting in a decidedly average experience that I'm rounding up from 2.5 to 3 stars purely for the enjoyable evening with my friend. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was how cramped the dining area felt. Tables are placed quite close together, which can make for a noisy and somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere. Our initial table hadn't been wiped down from the previous guests, which was an immediate red flag. We quickly moved to a clean table ourselves. Service was sporadic; our server was prompt in taking our drink and food orders but then seemed to disappear. We weren't checked on after our meals arrived, and getting a refill on water or the check required catching someone's eye. It felt very transactional. A major heads-up for future diners is that Fiamma is a BYOB establishment, as their on-site drink options are limited to water and sodas. I highly recommend bringing your favorite wine or beer to complement the meal. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was underwhelming. The main issue was a serious lack of seasoning beyond a heavy hand with the salt, and the calamari itself didn't taste fresh; it had a slightly rubbery texture. I ended up eating only a few pieces and left the rest. For my entrée, I had the Gamberoni Scampi. This was a step up but still had its flaws. On the positive side, the linguini was well-cooked, and there was a generous amount of shrimp. The biggest issue was the sheer volume of pasta; it was an immense portion that overwhelmed the other components. I ate about 30% of the pasta and all the shrimp, but it felt wasteful. The dish was decent, but not compelling enough to make me want to tackle such a huge portion again. Based on this visit alone, my experience was a little subpar. Between the cramped space, inattentive service, and underwhelming food, Fiamma didn't live up to its potential. However, the meal was a firm reminder that good company can elevate any experience. The name of the place is "Wood Fired Pizza," and I clearly made a mistake by not ordering their signature item. I'm willing to give Fiamma another chance solely to try the pizza. For now, my recommendation is, if you come, bring your own drinks, maybe skip the appetizers, and definitely order the pizza.

We decided it was worth the gamble, and boy did we hit the jackpot. We loved the BYOB option, proudly flaunting local beers while most tables had a bougie bin of ice helping to chill their wines. As we sipped on our own version of bubbly, we started with a couple of delicious appetizers - meatballs and fried burrata. While both were great, the meatballs were the clear winner, served hot in a small cast iron skillet. Moving to the main course, the pasta ragu was another hit. It had a bit of a peppery undertone, but wasn't spicy, just a wonderful blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. For dessert, I had an apple-based dish that was a special that night. While again another creative showing, I think I'd stick to some of the simpler options on the menu (like a Caramelized banana split - YES PLEASE)
