    Sicilian Pizza

Super disappointed tonight. Normally good but tonight was not. Ordered a Sicilian pizza. Burnt on bottom but barely cooked and no lift to the crust. Not an inexpensive pizza, this should never have left for delivery...

    Meatball and Sausage Pizza

Hands down this is the best pizza that i have found in this entire area. and any of the surrounding areas. My favorites are meatball and sausage, and white pie with veggies. Everything is freshly made to order There is no delivery service, but you can call and they have a pickup window. The calamari is light and tender, the marinara sauce that is served on top is chunky, with a hit of garlic and delicious. I have tried just about everything on their menu. One of my favorites is the chicken francaise in a lemon butter sauce. It very tasty. I also like that they combine dishes like eggplant and chicken parm, or shrimp and chicken etc. They also have antipasto ,and different salads. The waitresses are very friendly. The service is very good and very attentive. The Chrones bar that is part of the restaurant has been there for over 40 yr or more. It comes with it's own characters just like Cheers! U can always get a good drink or a nice glass of wine. There is limited parking, but u can park on the street or if late at night park across the street. The restaurant takes cash only! I have been eating here for over 10 years! I would definitely recommend that u try this non pretentious place!

Shrimp marinara ! Sauce was great , shrimp were a little rubbery :( 7/10 experience

I went to this local standby for the first time last week . I ordered the shrimp marinara and my friend had the vodka pasta . Out of those two dishes the marinara with shrimp was the best . I tried my friends vodka sauce it was kind of watery and lacked major flavor components . She did not like it and got a new dish . We also tried garlic bread , which was good . The decor is old and boring , it needs a major upgrade . The server was a little odd but she was probably burnt out . Not sure if I will be coming back here ..

This is one of those places that doesn't take debit or credit cards BUT they have an atmosphere for you to use and spend an extra 3 dollars to stuff in their greedy little pockets. No hot bartenders just an old guy that had an attitude. Won't be back here old people Bar everyone in here is 50 years +..look at the microwave it has the price and time written in sharpie lol ghettoooo

A tiny bar with a small restaurant of 10 tables or so. We love the staff who are very nice, helpful and friendly. We love the vibe here, very homey and not pretentious. Great consistent pizza and pasta. The sauce is something really special, sweet and delicious. We always order a salad which is consistently fresh. We also dig the onion rings!

    Excellent CA IPA!

Foods sucks. Wings with no sauce! Pizza is pretty gross. If you need late night food your better of going to 7-11 across the street.

However, on a Saturday if you want me to rise from the couch cushions my flesh has become indistinguishable from you're gonna need to give me a good reason. He did not. Instead he just whined lmao so I made us a reason. I wanted to go to Sierra f0r mY biRthDaY tRiP t0 AcaDiA (3 years running) so I chose a spot near there based on Yelp. Very meta. It was our first time so I had limited expectations other than price. I was right lol. $38 dollars later... This place specializes in Roma pizza and my only barometer for that is all the influencers going to Italy and complaining that the pizza looks "different" than here in the US. The gag is it always looked good to me so I was hype to try it as Massa. It kinda gives focaccia pizza and Massa does some really nice flavors. The slices are set up almost like a bakery - complete with the panic/relief that sets in when the person ahead of you takes the last slice of crumb cake. But then you see a fresh pan coming out the oven. We got: -cremini mushroom -pesto -hot honey pepperoni (The Stevearoni I think and the one someone grabbed the last slice of before me) -diavola aka spicy soppressata. We split a beet, walnut, and goat cheese salad and a Diet Coke. It was so good. Crunchy, crispy, flavorful, and yes different. We loved it. The salad was fresh, perfectly dressed and bright. Overall Impressions: -clean aesthetic and actually just clean -great food -good seating This would be a 5 star experience (instead of 4.5) if the staff was more outwardly friendly. They weren't rude or anything but a hello and goodbye is what separates this place from my local spot that is 2 miles away instead of 15 and $20 instead of $40. We look forward to returning - not every week at these prices but at least once a month. Delicious!

This review will focus more on the owner and his staff. Last week I reached out directly to Marc, the owner, as I've done in the past being a loyal repeat customer. My wife and I were hosting a get together at our house yesterday and needed to place an order. Sadly, we needed the order to be picked up before their usual business hours. Marc immediately offered to have his guys come in a bit early just to accommodate our order. When I got there yesterday for pick up, I was greeted warmly and offered an espresso on the house while I waited. What an experience! There are plenty other businesses in this area who would not do this, ever. Marc appreciates the support and loyalty and it truly shows. Of course everything was a major hit with our guests as well. You can pizza many other places, even in the former Nola's location coincidentally. What you can't get is treated like family. Thank you Marc, Steve, and the entire crew!

We decided it was worth the gamble, and boy did we hit the jackpot. We loved the BYOB option, proudly flaunting local beers while most tables had a bougie bin of ice helping to chill their wines. As we sipped on our own version of bubbly, we started with a couple of delicious appetizers - meatballs and fried burrata. While both were great, the meatballs were the clear winner, served hot in a small cast iron skillet. Moving to the main course, the pasta ragu was another hit. It had a bit of a peppery undertone, but wasn't spicy, just a wonderful blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. For dessert, I had an apple-based dish that was a special that night. While again another creative showing, I think I'd stick to some of the simpler options on the menu (like a Caramelized banana split - YES PLEASE)

Funny thing: drinks menu is on the dessert menu not the main menu. We ordered the grilled octopus to share. It had a good amount of char and was tender. The beet salad was decent, a bit overdressed. The mushroom soup was creamy and strong in flavor (a good thing). For entree, we had the entree size lump crab crepe, braised short rib, filet mignon and seafood fettuccine. Depending on who you asked, everyone preferred their dish over the other. The lump crab crepe had enough crab meat and shiitake mushrooms to be filling, and was served in a satiny cream sauce. The filet was cooked to order and served with scalloped potatoes that had a nice parmesan flavor. The braised short rib was very tender albeit a small portion, served with silky mashed potatoes and baby carrots. The seafood fettuccine has a little kick and ample seafood, like mussels, prawns, scallops and squid. Outside of the menu, they also have prime rib and a tomahawk steak for 2. We finished the evening with their special lemon tart - definitely tart and lemony - in a shortbread crust and 2 orders of molten lava cake with raspberry coulis and vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious and we will definitely come back.

I went on a Monday night, so it wasn't busy and we were seated right away. We ordered the baby spinach salad, calamari, and penne vodka. I liked all the food, but the salad had too much dressing. While the company was great, the restaurant itself left much to be desired, resulting in a decidedly average experience that I'm rounding up from 2.5 to 3 stars purely for the enjoyable evening with my friend. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was how cramped the dining area felt. Tables are placed quite close together, which can make for a noisy and somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere. Our initial table hadn't been wiped down from the previous guests, which was an immediate red flag. We quickly moved to a clean table ourselves. Service was sporadic; our server was prompt in taking our drink and food orders but then seemed to disappear. We weren't checked on after our meals arrived, and getting a refill on water or the check required catching someone's eye. It felt very transactional. A major heads-up for future diners is that Fiamma is a BYOB establishment, as their on-site drink options are limited to water and sodas. I highly recommend bringing your favorite wine or beer to complement the meal. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was underwhelming. The main issue was a serious lack of seasoning beyond a heavy hand with the salt, and the calamari itself didn't taste fresh; it had a slightly rubbery texture. I ended up eating only a few pieces and left the rest. For my entrée, I had the Gamberoni Scampi. This was a step up but still had its flaws. On the positive side, the linguini was well-cooked, and there was a generous amount of shrimp. The biggest issue was the sheer volume of pasta; it was an immense portion that overwhelmed the other components. I ate about 30% of the pasta and all the shrimp, but it felt wasteful. The dish was decent, but not compelling enough to make me want to tackle such a huge portion again. Based on this visit alone, my experience was a little subpar. Between the cramped space, inattentive service, and underwhelming food, Fiamma didn't live up to its potential. However, the meal was a firm reminder that good company can elevate any experience. The name of the place is "Wood Fired Pizza," and I clearly made a mistake by not ordering their signature item. I'm willing to give Fiamma another chance solely to try the pizza. For now, my recommendation is, if you come, bring your own drinks, maybe skip the appetizers, and definitely order the pizza.
