Great flavorful cheese slice, in a cute quaint area of downtown Westfield. Received good service as well! I wanted so badly to order a large pie after the slice I ordered.

This place has a very welcoming look to it. Tables and chairs outside looks nice inside out. After doing an Uber stop I was craving for pizza, and I came across this place. I order 2 regular slices and was not impressed on how thin they were. The crust and the bottom of the pizza tasted burn as if they were sitting there for a long time. Not a fan at all did not like the pizza. Probably one of the worst one I ever had.

Ordered a pie for the kids waited an hour pizza came cold and undercooked pizza . Nasty and never again.

More flop than elderly man at a nude beach.

Casa di Pizza used to be my shorty but she's about to get served. Beneath the tsunami of undercooked cheese was a soggy crust that had more flop than an elderly man at a nude beach. Seriously, how hard is it to fully cook a pizza?

Probably the best pizza I've had so far in New Jersey. Casual atmosphere, byob, good prices for the quality and the generous amount of toppings we got. Great location in the heart of downtown Westfield. The salad we ordered was kinda bland but other than that everything else was great. We got a pie with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella along with chicken. Many other types of pizzas I saw on other tables looked delicious too.

I'm actually shocked that this place does as well as it does. I think their success stems a lot from their location in Westfield Town center. The pizza was a little too thick and the toppings were overloaded, where it was overpowering. I had a chicken ranch slice and the quality of the chicken wasn't great. It wasn't very flavorful and the sauce was mediocre at best. Not worth going out of your way for. Really shocked this place does so well given there are so many other spots in town that have better pizza. They need to work on their flavors!

I went on a Monday night, so it wasn't busy and we were seated right away. We ordered the baby spinach salad, calamari, and penne vodka. I liked all the food, but the salad had too much dressing. That was my fault because I didn't ask for less. Overall, our server was very nice and we enjoyed our meal.

I visited Fiamma Wood Fired Pizza recently with a friend for what we hoped would be a satisfying,…read morequick bite. While the company was great, the restaurant itself left much to be desired, resulting in a decidedly average experience that I'm rounding up from 2.5 to 3 stars purely for the enjoyable evening with my friend. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was how cramped the dining area felt. Tables are placed quite close together, which can make for a noisy and somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere. Our initial table hadn't been wiped down from the previous guests, which was an immediate red flag. We quickly moved to a clean table ourselves. Service was sporadic; our server was prompt in taking our drink and food orders but then seemed to disappear. We weren't checked on after our meals arrived, and getting a refill on water or the check required catching someone's eye. It felt very transactional. A major heads-up for future diners is that Fiamma is a BYOB establishment, as their on-site drink options are limited to water and sodas. I highly recommend bringing your favorite wine or beer to complement the meal. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was underwhelming. The main issue was a serious lack of seasoning beyond a heavy hand with the salt, and the calamari itself didn't taste fresh; it had a slightly rubbery texture. I ended up eating only a few pieces and left the rest. For my entrée, I had the Gamberoni Scampi. This was a step up but still had its flaws. On the positive side, the linguini was well-cooked, and there was a generous amount of shrimp. The biggest issue was the sheer volume of pasta; it was an immense portion that overwhelmed the other components. I ate about 30% of the pasta and all the shrimp, but it felt wasteful. The dish was decent, but not compelling enough to make me want to tackle such a huge portion again. Based on this visit alone, my experience was a little subpar. Between the cramped space, inattentive service, and underwhelming food, Fiamma didn't live up to its potential. However, the meal was a firm reminder that good company can elevate any experience. The name of the place is "Wood Fired Pizza," and I clearly made a mistake by not ordering their signature item. I'm willing to give Fiamma another chance solely to try the pizza. For now, my recommendation is, if you come, bring your own drinks, maybe skip the appetizers, and definitely order the pizza.

I ended up giving them a try with my friend who was visiting us from out-of-state for a few days. I did call ahead of time and it didn't really fill me up with a lot of hope, but as of now, I still haven't tried any local places yet so I took my friend (omnivore, no allergies) there anyway. Also because we were on a time crunch and I had no time to look around for Option B. We went for lunch on a Thursday, maybe around 1 pm. Conveniently located near the Fanwood Train Station. They have a shared parking lot down the side and around the back (it's a dead end so the way you came in is the way you'll come out). There was no one else there but a waitress who was in the middle of decorating the blackboard with their specials and the Chef, though there was a take out order and they were bring in some deliveries. Everything seemed pretty clean but we were clearly there during their slower hours. Just as a disclaimer, I was told pretty much all their sauces there contained alliums. I ended up getting the following at my own suggestion: BLACK TRUFFLE BURRATA that came with these flatbreads. These are noted as house made; I love it when eateries make their own food from scratch! At $14, it was pretty reasonably priced but it did only come with four pieces of the bread. No free refills to my experience, but I also didn't ask. Delicious, flavorful, and simple. I fully expected to get something like this and was glad I didn't end up with a simple salad and olive oil. A solid appetizer. My friend enjoyed this as well! She topped her pizza with it. My friend got the TRIFOLATA. It's a mushroom based pizza and she said it was good. No complaints but did pick off the burnt bits, but that's expected with a wood fired oven. She liked it and was interested in trying other pizzas/pastas if she has the chance and is in the area again. I really struggled on how to rate this place. Cleanliness was on point from what I saw, place was cohesively decorated, tables might be on the smaller side if everyone orders a pizza, service was... somewhat adequate? They didn't really seem to know how to treat me and didn't really give any suggestions and it wasn't even because they were busy. Just did their job and maybe a few comments. We were asked once how the food was and it was directed at my friend. Having said that, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and when we left and I'd say our waitress was friendly. If you had no dietary restrictions (or at least not to alliums are on a low FODMAP diet), you'd probably have a better time. As for me? At least I know where to go for good burrata! Personally, I initially wanted to rate them 3 stars for the lack of substantial choices other than fancy cheese and bread, but seeing as I went anyway despite knowing that things weren't in my favor, it is on me. So I'm giving them 4 stars because what I had was good (but it might be the only thing I can have) and my friend enjoyed her pizza. They do note what items contain nuts on their menu and they have gluten free options which was what brought them to my attention in the first place. I have a kid with multiple food allergies. Unfortunately, their GF options contains eggs ... which is another one of my kid's allergies. If I go back again, it'll likely be with the same friend. Overall, a solid place for Italian food, but sadly not for my family.
