On St. Patty's Day we ordered take out and they were buuuuusy. We called to check the status on our delivery and service was great. Typically you get an angered person on the other end due to being overwhelmed but it was certainly appreciated to be thanked for supporting their business. We ordered garlic parm wings, reuben spring rolls, bangers and mash, and shepherd's pie. Everything was SO GOOD. Next time we order, it will be hard to not order the exact same thing every time. My fiancé was skeptical of the reuben spring rolls as he doesn't really like reuben sandwiches and I insisted I absolutely needed them. Then of course he really liked them so I had to share lol. The shepherd's pie was sooo flavorful, I highly recommend it. Will definitely be ordering from here again. read more

We were in the area, and this place had rave and high reviews, so we decided to check it out. This place felt like the cheers bar where everyone knows your name. It's definitely a neighborhood bar. It wasn't a small place which I liked so, I liked how it wasn't crowded and there is room and no lines for the bathroom. Regarding the food, I enjoyed the Reuben spring rolls, and meatball sliders were very tasty. The house made chips were really good too. But the other items like the wings in the Thai chili sauce were just okay. The IPA drink that supposedly tastes like blueberry didn't. All in all, I'm not sure if I'll be returning. read more

This is a nice neighborhood bar and restaurant and our server was so friendly and helpful. We got there early so we chatted with our server while selecting our drinks. My husband had Guinness Half and half, and I struggled because there were no sours on tap or in cans. I read the draft list more carefully and selected a Down East Cider after having a taste. It was a good choice with a strong apple flavor, a little carbonation and a medium sweetness The menu looked good and the specials sounded nice and next time we will give it a try. Several TV's for watching sports! read more

Really cool Irish bar with a nice selection of beers. The food here is very good. The Ruben spring rolls are one of my favorites. I've tried most of the items on the menu and they are all equally as tasty. The staff is always great as well. When on they do have the UFC pay-per-views playing on the very nice amount of televisions around the bar. They do charge you when you're in there for UFC, but it's not much, I think it's like $10 added onto your bill, not a big deal. Overall a great spot. read more

Overall, really friendly service and a spacious place to watch your favorite game whether it's from a booth, barstools, or high top tables. They have a variety of cocktails, and drinks on tap or bottled. I tried their cider on tap, which was had fresh, crisp, and tart apple notes that were yummy. Their fish and chips were delicious as well. They had crisp breading with soft fish inside. Wish the fries were a bit more seasoned. My friends enjoyed their sweet potato fries and chicken wings. They also have daily deals during the weekdays so definitely check this place out. read more

When I came into this place, the Christmas decorations blew me away. Very nice atmosphere. They had all the football games on --very sports bar-Ish I was immediately greeted, and I was told to sit at my table of my liking. Saul, the bartender was very nice. Patrick at the bar very gracious, polite and attentive. The food was pretty good. I had the Reuben and my friend had the steak sandwich and they were both nine out of 10. read more

There are Irish pubs all throughout western Queens, but very few of them are as versatile as The Brewery. Located on the quiet stretch of 30th Ave where Astoria meets Woodside, it might be the most popular place on the block. They really do have it all: lots of beer, plenty of screens, space for days, good food, and friendly service. Let's start with the space: this place is massive. There booths, tables, tall boys, and a long bar counter that nearly spans the entire room. Group action would never be an issue here and if anything, group action would be recommended. Any occasion would works: have a date, solo drink at the bar, come for the sports, have dinner, etc. They are also great options for takeout and delivery as well. Beerwise, they have the usual suspects like Guinness and standard beers on tap. In addition to craft beer, they carry a number of local brews as well. The bartenders are all about the heavy pours and they do a good job with the cocktail end as well. They won't be heavy hitters compared the specialized cocktail bars, but they're perfect for the night capper. I think where they really shine is the food. Their mac and cheese is tasty and I give the burger a big thumbs up. The wings are a popular choice as are their Irish options. However, one of the most strangely addicting things I've ever eaten in Queens happens to be their pastrami egg rolls. What kind of crack is in this? It is so stupid good that I would gladly horde an entire order to myself and not share it at all. It is an abomination of faux-Asian cuisine, but I'll be damned if it isn't delicious. If there is only one thing on the menu to order, let it be that. (#1) The only thing they don't have? Parking. People are swarming the block often just to find a spot before coming here. It's also not exactly close to the subway, though there is a bus stop half a block away. There is some sticker shock value to the prices, but it's manageable for folks who appreciate what they have to offer. ___________ (#1) Can you tell I'm serious? Because I am. read more

BBK is offering up some of the best brewery/pub style eats in the Queens area, and among the tops I've had in NYC. My review is only based on delivery...but that's only for now since I plan to dine in once indoor dining resumes and I am next in the area. Those Reuben Spring Rolls are a gift from the heavens. While nothing beats a proper Reuben on rye grilled on a flat-top? These are hands down the next best thing! Really good baked mac with a very generous portion. I'm not a dude who likes breadcrumbs topping his mac. But BBK makes it work! They were enjoyable, flavorful, not burnt, and added to the dish (rather than most places that use it to cover up flawed mac). I didn't take a pic of the Baileys Cheesecake because I wanted to respect the really awesome flavor profile BBK manages to get into this thing, and a picture of what arrived wouldn't do that or draw most folks to order it. So take note and don't let looks deceive you if it shows up and doesn't look appealing; they nailed flavor, and I'm sure they plate it well in-house. They also give you a HUGE piece which more than matches the price tag. However, texture has something to be desired. Still? I'd order again this second. That thing was tasty. Super solid bangers n mash. They're using a proper banger, that gravy is tremendous (it becomes the focal point of the dish; it's that good), and the mash is solid. Very generous portion, and this one they manage to give a nice presentation even for delivery. Can't wait to dine in! read more

**Delivery Review** Ordered from here on a Friday night with a delivery window of about an hour. Good options for basic comfort bar food at large portion sizes. Food arrived within the delivery window, well packed and still hot despite the cold weather. Had ordered the Baked Mac and Cheese Plate ($9.50), Crispy Chicken Sandwich w/Cheese ($11), and the Reuben Spring Rolls ($9.50). Started off with the mac and cheese - a large plate of super cheesy mac topped by semi-spicy crust. Nice balance of flavors while not being overwhelmingly cheesy. Reuben spring rolls are two to an order, cut in half and served alongside Russian dipping sauce. Plenty of meat and sauerkraut inside, yet too greasy overall (dipping sauce helped a little). Crispy chicken sandwich is pretty straightforward - thick/crisped patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Filling sandwich that hit the spot; only drawback being that the bun was flat and dry. Fine enough spot for some bar food in the area. Would try a regular burger next time. read more

I decided to celebrate my friend's birthday at the bar. I called to make a reservation and was misunderstood on the phone. I would like to bring in new customers. I have not had a good experience with an arrogant and rude blond guy. We were even there for your birthday to celebrate your 10th anniversary. We had just missed brunch but that's ok cause we wanted to try a few things on the menu. It was nice and empty, everyone was at the bar, social distanced and I felt comfortable. I took recommendations from my fellow yelpers and tried the Mac & cheese, fried calamari & wings. Great service! Good food, Excellent drinks, Clean establishment what more do you need... I'm just glad I had a good experience being that I just started going out again little by little after being a hermit for so long! Enjoy read more

I came here for Saturday night football. The Giants and Eagles were playing and even though it's a big game, the place wasn't overly packed. Yes, most of the seats were taken, but there was a booth and a table for four that was empty when we arrived and a seat at the bar as well. we ordered the 60 cent wings which were quite large in size. I got 10 buffalo with blue cheese and it was the perfect amount. They weren't overly sauced if that's what you prefer. I also got the grapefruit IPA which I don't recommend is in a can and then I got a draft of founders IPA, which you can't go wrong. The TVs are mounted above the bar mostly so if you want to watch the game, I'd highly recommend a seat at the bar. To me it seems like the best otherwise there are booths against the wall and there's tables in the center where there's stools but with no back, and those seats are pretty good, I would assume that the booth seats might have an obstructed view of the TVs since they are lower than the tables in front of them Which are closer to the TV. I would recommend this sports bar to watch the game because its not as crowded as other ones in the city. If you drive there be prepared to circle a couple times for parking it took us about 10 minutes to find parking, even though we have a fairly small car that's the only way we were able to get a spot a block away. The service is average. Definitely order everything you can once the server comes, you may not see them for a while. Also don't be surprised if there isn't a host at the door. Seat yourself if you want to sit at the bar. If not go look for the host. read more

The Brewery has a nice bright and breezy feel to it and I want to go back again. They were very short-staffed at the time I visited last week, and fortunately, there was not a large crowd. Service was a little slow but was not to be unexpected. I ordered a Cider at the bar and then scanned the QR code They do not seem to put any prices on their menu so I had to guess what each item cost. I was craving for true bar food and ordered PORK POTSTICKERS. I then ordered the BBQ wings with blue cheese, which were the highlight of the night 50c wings -Tuesday special. The BBQ wings were yummy, filling and very sticky. The waitress was rather skimpy on the number of napkins and I requested more with little wipes. I was still hungry after I left and then headed to Nonnaz for some pizza Pros -great ambiance, delicious bar food esp the wings, and clean facilities esp the restroom. The Brewery is very spacious and the arrangement of the TV makes it great for watching live sports. I am going to give them a pass on masks as the employees and patrons were far apart and the establishment empty inside. Outside they had a good crowd. Cons: The menu did not list a lot of prices on it. I checked two sources and came to the same conclusion. I estimated I would pay around $25+ and I was not far off the mark. read more

So, I haven't actually been to this place yet but I ordered takeout today. Christ on the cross where do I begin? Let me just first say that if you deign to open a restaurant you would have some fierce pride in the food you serve right? I'm wondering about the ownership bc of the quality of the food. The Shepherds Pie. Sigh. Now, this is a dish that if you're going to make it, you make it right. The potatoes are real at least. The meat is good. The sauce is out of a jar and the vegetables are out of a frozen bag and still a little too snappy. The sauce is the side mainly. It takes a little time to make a mirepoix but it doesn't take that much time. The Mac n cheese. Cheese was great. Sauce completely bland. Noodles overcooked... they may have been perfect except the cook may not have thought about he noodles absorbing more water in the sauce and making the noodles too soft. Also, what the heck did you guys put in the sauce? Cream cheese? I know some people love it but it's overkill. I'm not certain what it is but it's just too much. Didn't blend well. Not enough salt and pepper either but that's better than too much so I'll take it on that end. Curious to see what this place is like in person but I am expecting to be underwhelmed. Don't understand the place being packed in goodie review photos. But ok. read more

Three small children were running around and screaming, and the staff was just hanging out, not doing a thing about it. They made dinner very unpleasant. The waitress was barely around. We had to wave her down to ask for refills of water and ketchup. Seriously, she was terrible, and the food took far, far too long to get to the table. read more

Ok let me break it down. It's hard to rate this place cuz it needs separate ratings for food drink and atmosphere. Overall it's more like a 3.5-4 stars. The staff is great 5 stars The drinks are good although I had a terrible martini. All olive juice. But lots of different kinds of beer. 4 stars. The food is the problem. It's just ok. 3-3.5 stars. And I want to give more stars cuz I really like the place but it came down to food for me. It's just. Ok. Overall it's a great neighborhood place but basically come for drinks, the lovely staff, and for a nice big place to hang and get some snacks. I'd stick to the basics. Fries wings etc. They have Happy hr 5-7 50 cent wings Tuesdays 1/2 price burgers Thursday's The mac and cheese was eh. Missing flavor and pasta. I stuck my fork in so many times and missed. Needs more pasta and a bigger shape noodle. I had the special. Caesar Salad w grilled calamari which is probably my bad for ordering at a bar. I asked for dressing on side and it came dressed. I didn't send it back. The salad was creamy and not fishy but so overly dressed. Sooo much dressing. And the Calamari rings were cut up. They were just bland. Weren't grilled. They seemed boiled. Very chewy. read more

Best wings I've ever had. Hands down....service was great. Great beer selection....tons of Televisions for sporting events

Great place to watch sports (NYCFC-friendly bar). Came for the Yelp event & had a blast. Everyone raves about the Mac & Cheese & I'm sad my lactose-intolerant self can't. I did however have the crab-cake sliders! They were delicious & surprisingly filling! For the event, we tried the house lager & the house ale, but I wasn't really impressed. I tried an IPA upon the bartenders recommendation, (wish I remembered the name because it was so good). They have a fair range of craft beers & a nice menu of food. Great music, excellent service - shout out to Marisa. Would definitely return! read more

I didn't know this place existed until today. That sucks for me. I decided to catch a soccer game here today and was pleasantly surprised. They had ample parking on the street. We sat at the bar and was served by an extremely polite bartender. The bar itself screams soccer from the large TV screens to the decor. Pretty exciting if you're a World Cup fan like me. The beer menu is pretty diverse and prices were amazing .... If you're getting food, I highly recommend the spicy calmari and the wings. You could tell from the taste that it was seasoned the right way and cooked to perfection. All in all it was a positive experience. Highly recommend. read more

This place is so good definitely im cone back i give 5 stars good service and really good food I really recommend.

A neighborhood Brewery with exceptional Lager and food to go with it. Life doesn't get better than this! I stopped in here for happy hour with my boyfriend  and couldn't be more pleased. We sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender Kitty who took care of us until the very end of her shift. She provided us with samples of the happy hour beer which were the Brewery Ale and Brewery Lager. Both were good and priced at $4 each..but I went with the Lager while my boyfriend chose the Ale. The bar has about 14 beers on tap and plenty of bottled beer which was visible in refrigerators behind the bar. The entire place is very spacious and even has small booths in the back behind the seating at the bar for those who like a little more privacy and just come to eat. There are 3 large TVs at the bar which had different channels playing and more big TVs throughout the bar as well. In my opinion, the bar could be decorated a little more but over all it is a lovely space and I enjoyed my few hours there. Food..food..food...!! For an appetizer we had the corned beef spring rolls which were super tasty just a bit on the greasy side. A Russian dressing which tasted as if it was home made was given as a dipping sauce. The corned beef spring rolls were so good that I had to order a corned beef sandwich which came with sweet potato fries. Kitty gave me a chipotle mayo sauce to go with fries for dipping. Everything was very flavorful and the corned beef sandwich was not greasy like the spring rolls were. My boyfriend decided to have the crispy chicken sandwich which he seemed to like very much. This place is in a very nice area which has plenty of parking. I can see it getting very packed for big games or fight nights. Service was exceptional, food was good and so were the drinks. I look forward to coming back here again. read more

First off staff is super friendly and attentive. It has also been the nicest and warmest looking sports bar I've been to in Queens. Parking in this area sucks though so be prepared to wait around a while looking unless you get lucky. In terms of food I recommend the Mac and cheese, Reuben rolls, chicken tenders. The wings are okay and the cocktails could be a less watered down so stick to beers. But I would definitely come back again! read more
