Very chill bar with a lot of drinks on tap. I've been here a few times because I'm close to it, however I don't feel as welcomed when it comes to diversity if you know what I mean I'm a POC and there's also not one POC that works there. Anyways, had the chicken tenders most recently, I enjoyed their pizza, I've had the fish and chips and those were good as well. I however, did not enjoy the quesadillas the chicken is very chewy and fatty and was very unpleasant to eat. I do love their fries and their blueberry cider that actually stays on tap there. I would pass on the frozen drinks though and their water isn't great tastes dusty and yes good water is important to me especially in AZ. Overall it's pretty average bar food and ambience. read more

Not a fan of stealing and lying. First words out of this little old seniors mouth... What's the special? I'm told that the craft beers are $5. Cool, give me something, I'm easy, like a Blue Moon, I asked about a hard apple juice and she said no, that wasn't on special. Truth is the beer I got was much more like a Leinenkugel. And I also ordered $15 flavorless fried shrimp. Three beers and entree $30 plus tax and tip right? No she says it's $42. How can that be? Oh the beer you had was more than $5... You assured me it was a craft beer. They were $8 a piece. Lying and stealing and I didn't even drink the third beer I was so fucking pissed... Nice little sport bar, tables are a bit close together and the chairs outside are a real pain. They were well staffed, had reasonably quick service and plenty of sports on for watching. The fish and chips were fresh made, a little thick on the batter but overall good taste. Nothing special about the fries, tarter sauce or coleslaw but they were fine. Guacamole was fresh and a nice snack with the meal. The weather was perfect for the outdoor dining, may be a squeeze during the summer. read more

Lots of beers, sours and ciders on tap. Wish the glass was icy though. Had the honey hot pepperoni pizza, it was excellent. Hubby had one of the grilled cheese sandwiches, he loved it, I tried it and agree it was good. Crinkle cut fries were thinner and crisper than the norm, very good. Service was prompt, friendly and good. Lots of TVs, way too much talking about sports with no captioning (pet peeve). No chive for those of us who do want to watch something else. read more

we came for trivia which was not a great experience. started 20 minutes late on an app that wasn't user friendly and 1 screen you had to crane your neck to even see. but the food? terrible. i'm not sure who collectively decided that cities need mediocre food restaurants that they mark up the price to make up for the fact that they call themselves a "trendy" establishment but i'm just trying to eat good food and this wasn't it. the fries were cold and hard, my salad was 8 croutons 4 pieces of shrimp and a thousand 6 inch leaves covered with an ounce of dressing. but the brussel sprouts? having gross food is 1 thing but serving it in a RUSTY cast iron is just down right unhygienic. the worst part is the owner or manager was RUDE about it. trying to pass it off as the "wash". hey "mate" if your wash is leaving an orange residue that should tell you that your dish wear isn't being properly washed..and if you can get the residue off by rubbing it with your finger it's more than just residue it's caked on. but to come out and cause a scene over if and fight with customers is just beyond unprofessional. i'll just let the health department deal with you read more

Visited on Saint Patrick's Day and the staff was extremely helpful did not miss a beat always checking on us and making sure we where warm with the outside hearts on when it got cold! I was excited to try the Brass Tap. While not a big drinker, the family I was with did have drinks. First ordered a Bluemoon which was on the beer menu, told we don't carry that. When we showed her on the list she was surprised. We changed it to an ice tea but was told we don't carry sweetener or sugar. We then got a taste of wine first, then ordered it and when we got it it went from a red wine to white wine. We were told the bar back is new and gave the wrong one. I had to ask every time I wanted a refill on my Diet Coke. If you saw the glasses and how small they are you would realize how many refills you need We ordered the Brussels sprouts 9 ok, need a little more flavor. The honey hot pepperoni pizza, great flavor. And a cheeseburger with fries nice amount of fries and good taste on burger. Ordered pizza cookie and was told they were out. A new restaurant and no beer on menus, no sweetener. And no dessert. So I wasn't a very big fan of this place. For somebody who wants to go have a drink I'm sure it's an excellent place. If you're looking for quality food or excellent service it's probably not going to happen. All the food that I tried was very bland and way over priced. Place is great but please hire more staff! We went one night and the place was super crowded with just two waiters trying to handle everything, please help them out! Food is good typical bar food. I didn't find the burgers to by anything spectacular but I LOVE that you can upgrade fries to sweet potatoes without any charge. Plus thr sweet potatoes fries are like the best fries in town! They have a happy hour until 6 pm with cheap drinks and some.discounted food which is nice. The beer selection at tap is huge so its great for trying new things. The second time we went it was super crowded amd it took awhile to get some service. The sangria is also good and we wnjoy that there is outdoor space that is dog friendly. read more

Our experience was with takeout only. The restaurant itself, when we went in to get our food, was quite busy so obviously popular. The food was good, and we expect that it would be better had we eaten in restaurant. The food wasn't hot. The fries seemed like they may have been sitting for some time. We got two pizzas and they were mislabeled, which wasn't the end of the world, but seemed odd. The service itself was friendly and the online ordering was easy so they get points for that. I was disappointed, however, when we arrived and called the number as directed but it kept going to voicemail. HoHum... but again the service was friendly when we hauled our tired selves inside to secure our food. Would try them again, but not for takeout. I am so glad Brass Tap is back in Gilbert! We came here last weekend and it is just as good as it was before... maybe better. Boom Boom Shrimp - the best shrimp ever! The sauce is so freakin' good Carolina Sweet Fries - amazing pulled pork fries. The pork was a little dry in some spots, but the flavor combo made up for it. Cheese Curds - you can never go wrong with cheese curds. The service was good, once we made eye contact with someone (we found menus on another table after about 5 minutes of looking around). We were excited to try something new in town. We walked in on a Sunday night. Not super busy. They said seat ourselves so we grabbed a table on the patio. Suns game was on and they have tv's everywhere so that was nice. The food. Well the beer was good. But the food. We ordered the Nashville hot pizza and the loaded sweet potato fries. The pizza was just bread with cayenne powder and a few buffalo nuggets on top. It was not good at all. Very dry. The fries were just the frozen bag fries and were topped with pulled pork which was cold. My son got a burger which he said was ok. And my daughter ordered a chicken sandwich which she said needed seasoning so she drowned it in ranch. We probably won't be back unless it's just to watch a game and grab a beer. You really could just grab a couple frozen pizzas and bag of fries and do better at home otherwise. read more

Service was poor - had to flag down server each time and before we could finish our request they had already left and were 8 feet away. Slight miscount on my Boom Boom Shrimp - was served 10 instead of 12 as the menu stated - but they corrected the matter swiftly. My husband ordered wings. He thought they were a little overcooked and didn't finish them. My husband liked his IPA beer. We will come back but will try the pizza and burgers next time. I was super excited to come tot he brass tap since I have been watching it get built for the last year. What a let down. Service was good. But for the food I feel like the cook called out sick that day. Brussels sprouts were charred with no sauce or anything. Just burnt. Nachos has little things on them and cheese wasn't melted and had no salsa or anything. And the chicken tenders were bland and your Better off going to mcdonalds. I'm disappointed and wanted to tell the neighborhood it's a great spot to go eat but it was sun par at best. Giving a five star solely on our server and the quality of the food. So we went here for the first time tonight. First the positives. Our server, Julie was phenomenal. Super attentive, kind, funny, and made sure we had everything we needed all night. The food was delicious, beers and cocktails-Amazing. But Julie really made our night with her care and personality! Negatives. One of our party ordered a chicken wrap took over 45 minutes to come. Julie was continually checking with the kitchen. Other food was going out to tables that ordered way after us, still no wrap. She kept giving us updates letting us know she was trying to get the kitchen to send it out, we had somebody else order after we had all finished our food, and their food came out still before the wrap that was ordered originally. This alone is one star. The general manager came over and apologized, made it right with our bill as it was our first visit, and said he'll be back, we did not see him again. We will absolutely be back as the food was delicious and our server was amazing, they are new, and have some kinks to work out and hoping our next visit goes on without a hitch. read more

I ate at the Brass Tap after visiting some other unique spots in the complex. I do like Ole Smoky moonshine, and the table stand said, "Ask for their flavors." Sadly, flavors was flavor. I know Brass Tap. I should be ordering a pour but did not feel like that tonight. We stopped in for a bite anyway, so we looked over the menu. Nothing really jumped out as anything, not on any other bar & grill menu. I was a little surprised and disappointed not seeing any menu items featuring an ale or lager. Panko coated fish would be so much better as a beer battered item. Even the pretzel had a quest dip, not a beer cheese. The ancho tacos were very dry. The chips were good, but I don't suspect house made. The A V avocado burger wS a mess to eat but had a very good flavor. A definite knife and fork affair but taste was all there. I saw they had bbq sauce on most of their burgers, I was skeptical, but it has a sweet taste and not overpowering on the smoke. It makes a good pairing. Come for a beer and have a burger, is my opinion. It is a beer joint, so focus on that. read more

We came early on a Sat evening and were greeted with an army of servers and employees. Wasn't super busy but glad they had plenty of help. Service was good. We sat at the bar and requested a beer flight.... Bartenders choice and he was good and making selections! We gave him a few preferences and he nailed the choices.
