I went based on the ratings and the ratings were so off. First off the servers had no clue how to be servers. The attitude of two of them were so dull it was comical. I'm the most easy going patron but I'd recommend never coming here. The drinks were the best part of this place! Other than the drinks we ordered the wings and shared a hot honey pizza. The pizza was dominos at best lol. I'll never be coming back and will stick to blue 32 for bar food! I'm bummed because trying this place was my idea and I felt like it was the worst decision. read more

First time in tonight. Our server was...okay. She wasn't very attentive. Our drinks from the bar came before my daughter's soda. Our appetizer came out with our food. Small things I was willing to over look. But as our food comes out and our server still hasn't been by, I asked the girl running our food if we could please get drink refills and one extra set of silverware. She walks away from the table AND PULLS SILVERWARE OUT OF HER BUTT POCKET and brings it back to me. Absolutely not! I unwrap the silverware and put it at the end of the table to be picked up and then I find hair in my salsa. Once again I have to flag down this girl (a red head with her nose pierced) and tell her I need new salsa. She doesn't apologize or anything. Just walks away to get me new salsa. At this point I am beyond disgusted. Our server seemed like she probably had too many tables but whoever this girl is with the red hair completely ruined my experience. We walked in with a 20+ top at 11 am on a Saturday (2/3/24) - thinking there's absolutely no way they are gonna seat us (dressed up in old lady costumes for a bday party), and immediately the manager and waitress began pulling tables together and accommodating us. The service was amazing - fast and organized - they even split tabs for us! Drinks and food were also great. I know there's always a lot of pressure on the kitchen when that happens but they handled/executed flawlessly. Great job! Thanks again to the staff who helped make this fun for all of us! read more

Came in for a casual business dinner, and was impressed with the large selection of beer on tap not to mention the huge selection of bottles. They also had a full bar with a good selection of bourbon and scotch. The bartenders were both very personable, and really took care of us. To the owners of Brass Tap... You need a better system for bartenders to find their beers. Maybe use a number system so they would be more efficient finding beers with numbers. Service was also sub-par... you might need more staff. With a better system and more staff - you will do more business. With less... you will do less. read more

Wife ordered the Blackberry Brie Grilled Cheese. Wonderful selection of draft beers. The biggest issue was the temperature of the beer 42° degrees doesn't cut it needs to be 35° or lower. Also need to work on keeping the breading on the chicken sandwich as soon as I bit in I was losing the flavored breading off the chicken. read more

We went last night to play trivia. It was only on one tv so it was difficult to play since you need to see the tv to read the questions. I know it was Thursday Night Football but the volume was so loud that people had to literally scream at each other. I visited last month and the volume was also way too loud so I am guessing this is the norm. Our server was phenomenal! We had the classic pizza which was fine but had a lot of air bubbles so it seemed like we were just eating dough. The beer menu is extensive. I found I had to Google quite a few since there was no description. If I return, it will be to sit outside where it is not so loud. read more

The food was awful. Started with the Boom Boom Shrimp. Sounded good. Nope! I actually couldn't tell it was shrimp. Way to much breading. The sauce was bleh. Then on to my cheeseburger. This is my 3rd try with the new Brass Tap and I guess it's time to stop trying. I'm just not impressed. I live 5 mins away, location is perfect, ambiance is fine, but not great. They have 6 tops (all high tops) in the middle of the room, but the two tops are regular height, so if feels weird sitting there all low to the ground while everyone else is elevated. There were two high tops with only 1 person sitting there, because sitting under everyone else feels uncomfortable, they chose to take a table for 6, even though they were alone. Can't say I blame them. 1 biggest problem is BEER IS NOT COLD ENOUGH. Wake up! 99% of beer drinkers in America like ice cold beer. Sure, a few super snooty beer snobs want their porters warmer... fine, pour those and leave them on the table for 10 minutes if you want a not-so-cold beer, but for the rest of 'merica, give us ice cold beer or we will go to the 30 other places within 20 minutes that do serve ice cold beer. Also, I drink craft beer daily. Literally, every day. This is the first craft beer menu I have ever seen without any description of the beers on tap. All you get is name and ABV. They don't include IBU on any of the IPA's (crazy!) and zero description of the beer itself. It's as if the person who put together the beer menu has never had a beer before, certainly not craft beer which needs describing. With only a name and a price, who would want to try a $9 beer based on a name alone?!? So strange. Food: pizza is not too bad at all, but I have to say, the people making pizzas do not understand the very basic concept of evenly spreading out toppings. 4 pieces of my pepperoni pizza had no pepperoni on them and NO CHEESE. Why? Huge bubbles form during cooking, and the inexperienced cooks didn't know you need to pop them quickly otherwise, as the big bubble rises, the cheese and toppings slide off. Common sense in a pizzeria, but the kids cooking here just don't have the experience to pay attention to detail. Paid $14 for two tacos, they were okay, but I won't order them again. The chips came from a bag and the salsa in a tiny little side-cup tasted like it came from a can. Not good, just very average. In an area with lots of good food, tons of craft beer, I think this place is missing all the little details that make a place great. read more
