My husband and I love to watch sports and have been looking for a great sports bar. We spoke to the owner about our sports preferences and next time we came around those sports channels were on! Then we met Lee, the best sports bars manager ever. When he sees us walk through the door or sit down, he knows the Cincinnati Reds need to be on! We have been going to other sports bars nearby and have never had this level of service! Obviously the beers are a plus too. We were so excited to get a restaurant within walking distance! We have been there no less than 5 times and every single time the service has been awful. The food has not been stellar either. Twice we have had to send back our food due to it being cold. We are really hoping it is just new restaurant jitters and they will eventually figure stuff out. Okay let's start with the great: location and ambiance. Perfectly situated for us in the new Verde at Cooley Station area. Definitely optimized for patio (covered) seating. Lucky for us it was a nice winter night. Heaters were plenty and was comfortable. The patio overlooks the new grassy area. So unfortunately that's kinda where our night ended the good. They were busy, I'll give them that. But you know you are going to be busy and the kitchen management gets an F for the night. We were seated fairly quickly (maybe 15 min wait for 2 at about 6:30 on a Saturday). Order taken fairly quick and drinks came quick. That's about it. We were told in advance the kitchen was behind and it would be about 20 minutes. Fine. But it actually was 45+ minutes. We ordered a burger and the fish tacos. The restaurant menu is simple I don't know how the kitchen was being managed but it was WAY off. I wanted to warn people about to be seated that they'll be waiting for an hour for food. Actually they should have been told that. We asked the table next to us and they also waited 45 mins for their food after order. Also this night the food didn't come together. Tables were just being brought things as they were ready. Odd as larger tables had people finished their food before others at their same table even got anything. So the kitchen management needs some massive attention. Y'all are going to be busy every weekend. You gotta figure out what went wrong. Food grade: C+ - wings were a surprise hit. Burger was okay. Fish taco was mushy. Service: C - honestly I think our server was nervous to come check on us because it was so behind. The bus boy ended up refilling our water only when we asked. Things this place needs: - get a digital wait list as your 'waiting area' sucks. It is literally in the middle of your bar/server traffic. Take our numbers and text when table is ready. This feels like basic restraint stuff in 2023. Also this would help Verde eventually as people can wait outside in the grassy areas if not drinking. - 2 entrances, no clear host location. Fox that. Multiple people confused upon entering from diff doors. Who's in charge? Who is waiting? Etc. In the end this is super convenient place with like a bajillion beers on tap if that's your thing. It would be hard to get me to come back with this first impression. If I did id be asking about the true wait for food. I leaned on 2 but the wings got an extra star for the spice and crispyness. read more

Came here for the first time for some late night food and drinks with my husband while visiting my sister. We're we're pleasantly greeted and took a seat at a table near the bar. It's a trendy vibe with friendly people. The offer a full bar, craft beers, and what looked like a typical bar menu. Alyssa our server was very friendly and helpful. She was also very patient answering all of our questions since it was our first time there. She pleasantly engaged in conversation about the menu and after asking about some preferences made some food recommendations. We went with the steak nachos Cesar salad and wings. The steak was sliced thin and was so tender on the nachos and Cesar salad. A great recommendation by Alyssa! I would have never ordered steak on my Cesar salad but went with her suggestion and was not disappointed. The cheese sauce on the nachos was delicious, not your typical liquid gold from a can. Finally the wings with the boom boom sauce ordered extra crispy came out as ordered and did not disappoint. Alyssa was attentive and gave us stellar service which made our experience amazing! This is far from typical bar food and we will be back the next time in Arizona to try some more of Alyssa's suggestions. read more

I am going with a generous 2 stars. I got the Tap Salad at lunch with chicken $14 for some sparsely sprinkled chicken over wilted iceberg lettuce. The selection of craft beers is decent, and they had the southwest heavily represented, but to many Cali beers. Who wants to drink that? The beers are also $8 with one or 2 at $6.5. Anything rare-ish is way over $8. I am sure it is going to do fine and will be convenient for people living close, but I won't be a frequent patron. How sad. So much potential, but the choice was to gouge patrons. Drive to a real taproom that cares for its patrons. read more

These guys give very little value for the dollar. 1.5 ounces of microwave brisket will never be $14. Jokesters. Great selection of beer however the staff needs some serious training when it comes to food. We received 1/2 our order and all the tables around us either received wrong or partial orders. I will try again over the next few weeks without asking for the manager, if my order is correct and timely I will add a star, if it is not I will right another review and take away a star. read more

I'll start with we'll be back and hopefully update this rating. The patio is great and beer selection is one of the best around, but could be colder. The service was some of the worst we've had in a long time, though. After putting in our order wrong (later found that out) she acted as though we were dumb for saying it wasn't our order when it arrived at the table. After being delivered with still incorrect items (one of the two errors was fixed at that point) the correct side was "in the works". It's a side. It's not a full meal. 20 minutes later it still wasn't out. It was finally "ready" after we were done eating. Come time for the check and we were charged for the original errors we hadn't ordered! Each mistake was treated as though it was no big deal and never once was there an apology, but instead we got the attitude that we were putting them out. Hopefully next time will be better but for now it's not a place we'd say you should definitely try. Not the best experience read more

This pla e has only been open for a week now.. our server Kealeigh was awesome, explained everything in detail as there are a ton of beers on tap. We were there for happy hour which is 3-6. They have a pretty decent selection of happy hour items. We got the hh burger and fries which was only $8.00 and it was a decent size not paper thin. We asked for med rare and she told us medium is what they are allowed to make. It came exactly the way we wanted it. Hats off to the cook. I did stop on the way out to let her know how good the food was. Great atmosphere, good music playing at a good volume. We just live down the street and now have found our new spot. Disappointing. I really wanted to love the Brass Tap, and was looking forward to it opening. Good: there is a large selection of beer, with good amounts for each varietal. The space is pretty cool, with a fairly large outdoor patio, and large open space/playground out front. One of our orders got forgotten, and someone comp'd our meal. Bad: The servers were not very attentive, and generally slow. Food quality is mediocre at best (my chicken tenders reminded me of a Suns game; overpriced, and not very good). There is no kids menu. There is no assigned seating, which creates a situation where 2 people are at larger tables (less than ideal when it's crowded). read more

What a great place to unwind after a long week. Great food and atmosphere. Bartenders Marina, Makayla, and Victoria were not only efficient but pleasant to talk with as well. Despite how crazy busy they were they always took a minute to speak with us. The GM Christopher has done an excellent job balancing staff and work load. Came by multiple times to ensure everything was going well which it was. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment. Can't wait to go back!! It was our first time eating here. When I walked in I must have looked lost. Two employees greeted me and took us to a table. Super friendly! We had the Hot Honey pepperoni- delicious! We also had the crinkle fries and chips and salsa. Both were very good. I had the raspberry lemonade martini. Extremely good. Our server Victoria was fantastic. Her smile said it all. Would have stayed for another beer, but we waiting longer than we wanted. In regards to the food, I am in love with the White Caprese pizza. I want to try the burger eventually. The chips and trio dips are amazing. I love the white queso and the guacamole is perfect. The salsa was a bit runnier than I like, but the flavor was even. The list of beers is outstanding and I've loved everything I've tried. Looking forward to the misters to work outside and I can see this as a regular spot to hang out.
