Thankfully most of her clients ahead of me took less than 10 minutes. I have very thick brows and have not had them attended to in quite a few years. I've just let my barber use clippers to trim them. Unfortunately that has led them to be very thick and too big. She had her work cut out for her!! Her prices are very reasonably. She's very kind and polite. And her salon was well kept and clean. She takes cash or phone payments. Ie Zel, Apple Pay etc. I would definitely recommend Tahira for all your facial needs. My husband and family were blown away when they saw how well they came out. My brother couldn't tell until I pointed them out. Right now it is dark so I am excited how it will lighten in a week's time. I have not had any scabbing, flaking, or skin issues. The day of and the next my eyes were slightly puffy as if I was crying. Yah for me! Casey is located in The Grand in Brea in the shopping plaza off of the 57 freeway. After she removed the nails I asked her to just do acrylic French tip and I would pay the difference. When she was ready to polish my nails she tells me to pick a solid color because I am too picky and that I need to pay $60. Excuse me! Why is she insulting me and why is she charging me for brand new services. If I had known she wasn't going to honor her word I would have never returned. I have never walked out without paying but that was the day. She then calls me and tells me I need to pay $40. I end up paying her for the sake of ending the back and forth but let it be known that NOT only did she insult me, she ripped me off and lied to me, as well as harassed me. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the bottom of my nails. But I will upload one for reference. And I WILL block everyone's number because clearly Lyly didn't care about her customer's privacy when she sent me the screenshot. NEVER going here! Lyly is horrible. As a customer service business you need to give the customer what they are asking for and act professional.

I had such a wonderful experience getting my nails done in Korea so I wanted to look up a place that offered Korean style nails. I found purrple nails which was conveniently located near me with a staff filled of Korean artists. My first experience was with Soo and she did fine I guess. I like that she was detailed about her design but she did cut my cuticle once and was very rough with drilling. For those who don't know, drilling gets hot and the artist should know to lift it every few seconds to not burn the person's skin. Because I liked the design so much, I made a second appointment to give another artist a try. This second appointment was with Ellen. She was sooo rough when it came down to removing the polish and cleaning and cutting the cuticles. One of my cuticles started bleeding a lot and she just used the dust to stop the bleeding but did not apologize once. I let it go. But after getting home, I noticed my cuticles and fingers were so tender and red. I decided to let time heal but it's been a week and my right thumb is still swollen and tender. It's painful to touch. I told the owner and Ellen and after some back and forth, they finally did apologize. However it left kind of a sour taste in my mouth because it just seemed like they brushed it off thinking 10 percent off the next appointment would really make up for the pain I'm having in my finger. Not sure if I will come back. The owner asked me to try another artist but how do I prevent this from happening a third time?

Horrible. Zero star…read more Made an appt and told them what I want done. My appt time was ~1.5 hours before they close. I was excited and drove 1/2 hour to try Korean nail salon. Prep for gel plus 1 extension took more than 2 hours then after the prep, they filed my nails down. They filed it so short and was unattentive that they filed off my skin and it started to bleed. It took longer than expected and I had to leave and was to return the next day. Thankfully I left because my filed down skin continued to bleed for an hour or more after. Gel and design took another ~2 hours. Total time almost 4 hours (+ 2 hours of driving time). Price was almost double other places I go to. Then less then 10 days after, the entire gel came off for one nail...next day, another...and next day a couple more. At least it came off neatly rather than chipped. At this point, I easily peeled off the rest. I messaged them and they offered to give me a free redo. Thank you but no thank you. I am not about to waste another 4+ hours and spend gas money all to risk getting an infection. Please hire properly trained and certified nail techs. Because other reviews have mentioned nail tech cutting down cuticles to the point of bleeding and nails chipping or coming off.

Check. Yummy complimentary Vietnamese coffee. Check. Then it goes downhill. Lisa was very nice but she's rough. It was painful getting my gel off, getting my cuticles pulled, and the scrub on my legs was too much. Then a corner was taken off one of my toenails, half of them are uneven, parts of the nails don't have enough glitter flakes, and my large toenail didn't get filed or taken off properly and looks like I have stuff under it. I paid for a deluxe but there was absolutely nothing done that was in addition to a regular pedicure....no paraffin wax, callous removal, etc. When we were finishing up, I asked Lisa if I could use the restroom. She said yes but when I asked the Bosslady where it was she said they didn't have a working bathroom. Interesting. I will not be returning.

Linda was the sweetest person I have met . We laughed and enjoyed great conversation and she had good opinion on colors and things . She's been doing this for a life time and it shows .
