This is a cute neighborhood bar with fantastic pizza and apps! We had the Caprizza pizza and the Buffalo wings and they were wonderful!! The watermelon margaritas are also super tasty! We're excited to go back!

Cocktails so delicious. Gimme that old fashioned ! It's the best I've had in a while.

Divey. Awesome. Amazing old fashioned. & super cool vibes !!! This place was slow. HOW? The longer i sit here, the more I love it. Their cocktails are, fantastic !!! I would choose this over many places in the heart of cap hill. Awesome bartender. Super cool space. Come visit. Let's make it a thing :) Also. Bonus ! They play some music that sounds straight from an 80s porno.

Barbershop chairs that you can drink in--they even recline!

As the Irish would say, "This is my Local." Location is everything and I started going here several months ago because it's in walking distance of my house in Madison Valley. That said, I return because it's awesome. The people are friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced and they have awesome barber shop chairs in the side room that actually recline while you wet your whistle. Close enough to the Cap Hill Scene to transition but far enough away from the fray to feel a little removed which is nice. Cheers!

This is one bottleneck that I don't mind getting caught in. Bottleneck is intimate, cozy, and swanky. They have large prints dressing up the red walls and the coolest lights accenting the front entrance. They also have a large chalkboard in the bathroom for you to leave comments and or phone numbers. The elite squad hit up Bottleneck last night for another rocking party. Cam, the world's bestest bartender, handled all of our drinking demands beautifully. And Erin, the owner, was such an awesome host. Thanks Yelp and Bottleneck for making Mondays fun again.

Our server was really nice but maybe stretched too thin bc she forgot to put our order in and threw away her paper that she wrote it on so she had to come re take our order. We had full intentions of ordering entrees from here but they were out of the main dishes. Just seems like the kitchen manager isn't planning well, staff doesn't have help from management. They also have a lovely happy hour that we just barely missed, but would definitely come back to try. Such a great spot for casual conversation, good drinks, and a breathtaking view. Something about watching the boats and planes and the waves is just gorgeous. Note- the 20% tip is pre-loaded onto the bill, so any tip you add is on top of that 20%!

And then we get the check and they automatically add 22%...if you are a quality establishment offering exceptional customer service, you don't need to tell me what to tip...guess you are not. And they they have the nerve to ask me if I want to tip another 18%, 20%, or 25% when I sign the check on their Toast device... This was an interesting combination of stuff. The focaccia bread was solid. It wasn't really crispy at all, but it did have solid air to it. The brie was good, but the apple slices were a little confusing. Dipping each of the elements in honey resulted in something solid overall though. Next came the main pizza - a chicken and bacon version. I did not like this that much. The chicken and bacon on top were fine, but what tasted odd was the sauce and the crust. The ricotta garlic sauce just didn't quite taste right. The cornicone was also super chewy and hard to eat. I would call this pizza consumable, but not enjoyable. The good thing is I would say the pizza is enough for two people. The total ended up at roughly 28 per person at the end, which with the appetizer isn't terrible. Overall, I would rather go to a lot of other places for pizza. 6/10

Instagram : @yeapeats…read more I was excited to try Needle & Thread since it's often described as a speakeasy, but the "hidden" aspect didn't quite live up to expectations. Unlike other speakeasies that feel truly hidden, you actually just walk into Tavern Law, check in with the hostess, and let them know you have a reservation. They then guide you to a telephone where you repeat your reservation name before being let upstairs. It's a fun concept, but not especially secretive, and they're pretty strict about not letting you up early unless it's very empty. Once seated, we actually waited almost 20 minutes before being served with no acknowledgement. We ended up having to flag down the manager just to bring attention to our table, which was disappointing given the experience they're aiming for. The waitress asks a series of questions about your preferences--likes, dislikes, and flavor inspirations--so the bartenders can create custom cocktails for you. If you're knowledgeable about alcohol, this is probably a dream. If you're not (like me), it can feel a little intimidating, but our waitress was patient and did her best to guide us through it. The drinks themselves were excellent. Even the shots were customized, which was a nice touch. The vibe upstairs is chill and relatively quiet, making it a great place to relax and talk. Food is the same menu as downstairs at Tavern Law, so nothing new there. The only downside--and unfortunately a noticeable one--was an interaction with the female bartender (not our waitress). Based on the questions we were asked, my friend gave a mix of savory and sweet preferences, since we were told these were just inspirations. However, the female bartender came over sounding visibly annoyed and said, "So do you want savory or sweet? You're giving contradicting answers." The tone felt unnecessarily rude, especially since we were just following the process as it was explained to us. Overall, the drinks were great and the concept is unique, but between the delayed service and that negative interaction, it definitely put a damper on the experience.

I was so excited by the experience that I made a reservation to bring my partner there to end our anniversary night. When we arrived at the speakeasy at our reserved time, we were told it was not ready yet. We ended up waiting longer than expected, and when we finally received the text to come down, the door was already opening for a party that arrived after us. A big part of the Founders Club experience is the bookshelf entrance, and I had really hoped my partner could experience that excitement for the first time, but it ended up feeling a bit anticlimactic. Once inside, the space itself is nicely done and intimate, and the service was generally good.
