There is a to go area, bathroom, and then indoor seating area. They have merchandise behind the register. Started with the tuna nachos and crab rangoon mozzarella sticks. Tuna was good quality and had a good coating of sesame seeds. My perfect bite was tuna, orange sauce, seaweed, tomato, & onion. The chips were perfectly crispy. The crab rangoon was surprisingly good. This appetizer is what made me pick this place. Such a good combination. Didn't need the marinera sauce. Next up soups. Lobster bisque was ok. I guess I was expecting it to be a little more rich. But it was good, it tasted exactly like lobster and I got good chunks in the soup too. Now the shrimp and corn chowder was super flavorful. Favorite dish of the meal. For mains, cold lobster roll and two tails w butter and side salad. Side salad was well dressed and I appreciate the ribbons of Parmesan. The lobster was mostly cooked right. There was one that was a bit chewy. Added salt and butter but felt like something was missing still. I couldn't find a good combo of toppings to go with the lobster. The cold lobster roll was alright. The potato bread added a good sweet flavor that complimented the lobster. Overall a decent meal.

Finally stopped by here after fishing. They had football Sunday specials. We got cheeseburger…read moresliders $10, wings 10/$10, and a 12" bar pizza $6. The sliders came out and looked tiny. They were actually thick and fresh. They were delicious. I got kung poa wings...or however you spell that and they were so good. The pizza was thin crust and looked amazing. It was tasty but the crust was like chewing leather. I wont get that again but look forward to going back to try some of their other meals. Place is spacious and comfy. Lots of TVs for sports peeps. Our server was very nice and good. Never had to ask for extra napkins or anything. She was on top of it.

The one day I went for a glass of wine and it was quite nice, so the next day I decided to go back. Was enjoying myself with a few glasses of red wine, and the thin-crust pizza. A group of young men wearing the same T-shirts walked in, and there was a middle-aged gentleman to my right, admiring the waitress, Sid. There was also a guy who said it was his first day, Cliford, and he pointed out his name was spelled with one "f." I had short, what I considered, "congenial" conversations with both of them. Suddenly, for apparently no reason, I get escorted out by the police for what they called racist statements! They also accused me of not paying the bill, which I left money on the bar at all times. Mind you, my short conversations had nothing to do with race at all. To make a long story short, the police come and escort me out and to the police station! From there, I ended up at the Ocean Hospital, where a small, smelly lady watched over me all night. I ended up having to take an Uber back to my hotel room. No one cared to ask whether I had any kind of medical condition that required medicine. In sum, I believe this restaurant has something to hide. I suggest never stepping foot in this place ever! Also, it may be racist.

What a great dinner…read more.. We decided to drive up to Point Pleasant for our last dinner of the long weekend and point Lobster Bar & Grill was the choice. When we arrived at about 5:40pm the place was packed so it took a few minutes for us to get seated, but no biggie because we didn't make a reservation (if you're here in the beach season, it's a MUST). We got seated in the bar area, but it was right by the window so it was a fantastic seat. Only down side was there was a guy playing music right next to us, but he wasn't super loud so it was fine. Our server, Matthew, was over fairly quickly to take our drink orders. Wifey ordered a Ruby Spritz and I had the French Pear. Both were delicious. For our appetizers my wife started with baked clams and I ordered the Drunk and Angry clams (steamers with lager and cherry peppers) and like the drinks, both were excellent. I was really happy with mine as the level of spiciness was perfect. We also ordered two white sangrias with dinner. Server suggested getting a pitcher if we were going to have more to a one, but we had a bit of a drive and didn't want to chance it. Great job on his part. My wife ordered the Crab Stuffed Flounder - very rich and tasty, but two plates of stuffed food was a little too much. I ordered the Pistachio Crusted Halibut special with jasmine rice, bok choy, and a lemon sauce. WOW it was great. The halibut was ever so slightly overcooked, maybe 60 seconds, but the FLAVOR was amazing. I love bok choy so this dish was a home run. We were too full for dessert, so that was it. We really loved this place and our server, Matthew, was great - friendly and engaging. I would 100% return and try another entree here.

Great location on the main strip with commercial fishing boats off loading at their dock. Casual, relaxed, byob, with top notch professional servers. We had a tuna app that was sushi quality tuna over crispy wonton nachos. Incredibly good! We also had medallions of Hudson Canyon Swordfish with wild gulf shrimp over Japanese style rice. 10 out of 10 good! Added a classic New England Lobster roll! Darn good! The owners were present and took the time to speak with us. Thats a huge green flag! Go! Go! Go! Highly recommended! We will return. A great place!

Even…read morethough the The Food Shack closes at 2:00pm, the server behind the counter was very gracious and still took our order (and the orders of some people behind us) without complaining. We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Even the wait time here is pleasant. My wife and I had to wait 40 minutes for our table but didn't mind a bit as we soaked up some sunshine and listened to the smooth guitar sounds coming from the guitarist playing outside. My wife had a breakfast sandwich that she loved. We split a spinach salad and I had a tuna melt on sourdough with a side of crabby fries. My sandwich was grilled perfectly. Tuna with melted cheddar and light, crispy buttery sourdough made for a great sandwich. TFS is seasonal only so their last day is October 26 this year and we plan on visiting again before they close for the season.
