Really enjoyed our visit, Monday. We were lucky to find parking but I could see that potentially being an issue. Walking in: big, open space. I like that the walls are dark. Classy Cabernet vibe. We were seated right away. There were only a couple other tables occupied when we came in, a few more by the time we left. Several of the appetizers looked interesting and I would like to try them at some point, but I wasn't hungry enough today. I opted for the harvest salad with blackened chicken. My salad was fresh. The dressing was served on the side without me, even having to request it. There was a good portion of chicken, and it was blackened perfectly. Everything tasted delicious. My friend got the sausage brisket, mac & cheese. I tried that too. The cheeses was very creamy, and contrary to another reveal, tasted nothing like craft. It was incredibly rich, and he couldn't finish the entire serving. That just means he had lunch for Tuesday also. The sausage had a good flavor, and again cooked perfectly. We did wait a while while to get our tab. It was OK with us. As I said, by this time, several of the tables were full. I would definitely come again, and have already recommended it to a couple of my local friends.

A new restaurant on the North End of Lisbon Street in Lewiston Maine. The daily was well managed, had a very clean appearance, and a fresh look and chill vibe. The service was timely and knowledgeable about the products offered by the establishment. My date has the Teriyaki Beef Bowl and I had the Ahi Tuna Poké bowl. Both bowls were delicious and well presented. The food was fresh fresh fresh and properly seasoned and absolutely delicious ! 9/10! Welcome to the Neighborhood Blue Feather!! We will be back!

Don't waste your money! Going out to dinner tonight was the worst dining experience we've ever had. The food was tragic and the servers seemed flustered despite it being empty... I was excited to try the Blue Feather. Walking in, we were met with a 30 minute wait (not uncommon on a Thursday). We decided to order drinks at the bar as we waited for our table. The drinks were good, a tad sweet, needed some refining for sure, but good. No complaints. We get sat at our table early and are told a few parties ahead of us "passed on the table." We should have read the signs and walked out as well. Once seated, we ordered the sweet and sour meatballs and the hummus plate to start. The meatballs arrive first and taste EXACTLY like spaghettios. We brush it off as it's only the first thing we've tried. After waiting 10 minutes for the hummus plate, our waitress comes over to ask if we ordered fried pickles. After correcting her, she goes to the kitchen. She comes back with the hummus plate and tells us it was backed up as the kitchen was "still preparing it." What was put in front of us was insulting. An entire tub of store bought hummus, a few pieces of broccoli that were soft and discolored, a few pieces of cucumber that were yellowing and mushy, and some warm pita (store bought, but edible). Goes without saying, the pita was the best part. We then put in our order: a Rueben with fries, a steak and cheese with Mac and cheese (a $3 up charge for the Mac), a beer, and a mule. 20 mins after placing our order, our waitress comes back to tell me that they are out of sauerkraut for the Reuben. Disappointing, especially after waiting for 20 minutes, but whatever. We finally get the food and it was baffling. A $3 up charge for Kraft Mac n cheese. A mess of a "Reuben" that's very fatty, no kraut (as previously mentioned), soggy, etc. The steak and cheese was mostly peppers, minimal steak, and no garlic aioli (as advertised). After getting our food, our waitress comes back to confirm our drink order, asking us which liquor we wanted with the Mule because they "only have Tito's." When we FINALLY get our drinks, the beer has no carbonation, and the mule has no ginger beer. They subbed it with starry or sprite. We called it quits, got our bill, and left. The waitress seemed disappointed that we skipped boxes, but there was a 0% chance we were going to eat any of this a second time; we couldn't even stomach it the first time. We will not be back to say the least. Food quality is poor, service is flustered, chefs coming out during service to use the dining room rest room... it just didn't operate like a restaurant should. Thoroughly disappointed.

The brunch ends at 2 PM and we came in for 1pm. We were not seen for 20 min, so we left. Will try again later to rate food, maybe.

For me, after all these years... maybe because I got old and with that a dairy intolerance... I'm not the demographic. 1) I don't like tequila, and they themselves genuinely don't suggest any cocktail that doesn't have it (a quote directly from their staff [multiple times]). I tried the Cuba Libre (Mexican cola, rum, bitters, fresh lime) recently... and, for the most part, it was a tall glass of citrus juice; I tasted nothing else. 2) There's really not many vegan options: for a filling, there's only Verdue (ancho chili roasted butternut squash with black beans and arugula). At currently $5.50 for one soft taco (which, veganized, comes topped with a smattering of cilantro and scallions) is IMO not worth it compared to other places in town that are offering similarly priced tacos that are slightly bigger and more creative. NOTE: the fried avocado is not vegan. And 3) the guacamole ($12) here is hit or miss. Sometimes it's kind of bland and gloopy (if that makes sense); and, the portion size has definitely gotten smaller pre and post pandemic. Have fun, tequila lovers. This one's for you!

We grew up on a hole in the wall gem with reasonable prices, I was shocked to see that prices went to by almost 5 dollars for the same meal I've been eating for YEARS in the last few months. I didn't even order when I saw the prices. Horrible move.

They have approximately seating for 30 or so, but are very popular for take-out. This is a go-to place for my Dad and I tend to tag along. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is the typical Mexican style with complimenting decor. Food is made fairly fast and the quality of the food is decent. The plain burritos are made with ground meet, somewhat seasoned, the refried beans were as expected and the rice was a bit on the dry side like it had been sitting around. You get plenty of food which is why they are a popular spot. If you are looking to satisfy those Mexican cravings, this is a good spot to hit. I won't criticize it for not being fully authentic, because they don't claim to be. They advertise americanized style Mexican and that is what you get.

They take reservations (including for brunch on the weekends) and it's super easy to do online. How many places in this city are doing this? The answer is: still not many. 2. Their menu is clearly labeled with what's vegan and vegetarian. No guessing here, and the staff has always been quick to double-check with the kitchen if there are any questions or concerns. Segue... 3. The chips and guacamole for currently $10 are the same quantity of (and I mean this lovingly) overly salted, house fried - sometimes too fried - chips and a tiny scoop of good guac as most places in town that are CHARGING YOU MORE. Segue... 4. There are places in town now charging $8 to $10 for ONE TACO. And they're sometimes quite small. The tacos here average between $4.75 and $6.50 for creative, flavorful, interesting, filling options (also you can get them on either flour or corn, no upcharge). The menu changes from time to time, and I wish they'd bring back the fried yuca taco, but the solid vegan solid options right now are Adobo Sweet Potato, Fried Plantain, and Crispy Tofu. Segue... 5. The taquitos, brussel sprouts, and cheesecake are all vegan. Segue... 6. The brunch (10am to 2pm, Saturday and Sundays) options for vegans are probably the most impressive in town: tofu or chorizo or fresh avocado tacos, huevos rancheros, churro french toast, avocado toast, chimichangas. 7. The Mexican cold brew might change your life (... or at least make you really happy when you're playing hooky from work and having an 11am drink). Switch the tequila for house whisky, skip the vespertino, ask for a side of oat milk... no changes to the price when doing this, by the way, because they're THAT kind of place that isn't trying to punish you constantly with extra fees. 8. The staff is so accommodating, they're thoughtful, they check-in just the right amount. Sure, I've had a few bad experiences here, but overall... sit at the bar, make a friend, and just ask/just talk to them if you're missing something/need something etc. 9. The atmosphere here is Portland right before it became too cool (IYKYK). It's casual and relaxed, it can be intimate and loud when it's busy, it feels quite trendy yet still approachable when they've got their newly updated outside area set-up. 10. It's off peninsula which also changes the demographic and vibe entiiiiiiiiiirely. For the good. 6/5 no notes.
