    Smash Burger & potato wedges
    Kim L.

Went out on a Thursday night, spur of the moment, to comfort a grandchild who really, really wanted a burger. We had been wanting to try it, and decided this was the day. I ordered the French dip - which was pretty good; flavor of the au jus wasn't great, but it was good! The smash burger looked good, and it was gone quickly. We were kind of disappointed in the potato wedges, a bit on the dry side. The greatest part was that we shared the skillet cookie - very yummy. We will try it again, maybe for lunch. The room was crowded and a bit noisy. Service as good.

Refreshed and Original. I Ordered Takeout on a Busy Thursday Evening. I Landed on their Fried Chicken Sandwich with Seasoned Fries and had them Hold the Sriracha Aïoli. This Lead to a Bit of a Boring Sandwich with Simply Lettuce & Pickles Remaining yet Better Than Any Other Local Chicken Sandwich I've had. The Chicken was Juicy While Not Too Salty and the Buttered Brioche Bun Was Very Good. I'm not a Big French Fry Person and Their Seasoned Fries are Top Notch Excellent for Sure. The Hostess had My Food Ready Upon My Arrival and Greeted Me with a Smile. I've Read Several Reviews Regarding the "Loud Atmosphere" I Don't have Any Complaints About it and Didn't Find it Loud Although Very Busy. All Around a Solid Experience that Will have Me Returning Again in the Near Future. Thank You.

Omg vegetarian beet Reuben is the best thing ever!!! I could eat this every day. The fries are good too. My husbands buratta salad was awesome. Lots of great things on menu. I wish were were drinking. A great drink menu!!

Food was fantastic while the service was good but a bit slow, the wife and I loved the decor and atmosphere of the place and really look forward to coming back this winter and trying it out again... we loved that the portions where just the right size and the price reflected it!! If the service was a little better and faster I would have given it 5 stars

Opening weekend at the Ram & Bull in Brunswick (formerly Joshua's location). Online reservations were not available on the website, so I left a voicemail. Didn't hear back, so I used the contact us to make reservation, and received an email confirmation. Sadly, when we arrived, our reservation had been taken by another party in error (not sure if stolen or innocent mistake ) We had to wait, but tried to be good sports about it. Finally got seated about 20 minutes later. Surprisingly not even an offer of a comped soft drink. The place is very noisy, so had to shout to try to have a conversation at the table. The place was clean and cleverly decorated though. The saving grace was the food. Best French dip I've ever eaten! Although there is a bar, they would only make drinks on the menu. I mention again that this was the first Saturday of this new restaurant, so I have hope that they can work out the kinks. The food is top notch, so I will definitely give it another go.

I'm hanging on to the hope that my 4 stars will not have to be updated as the scales of bar justice can only tip downward hence forth. Perhaps I have a false sense of self - but I'm a freakin great customer - I spend hundreds of dollars a month on eating, drinking and making Merry at the midcoast Maine bars - y'all business owners better take notice of me and respect the badge, my writing power and my posse - cause I'll turn you out if I must. And when beady eyes behind the bar set upon me, they're not saying"welcome back valued customer" they're saying "it's him again" the concentric circles, the common center must not be broken with new faces and new money - Be the region between the two concentric circles - I think it's called annulus, be that, not an assulus. The folks at the bar are quite the opposite, they're friendly and engaging- one guy was dancing to live music, caulking around the AC while drinking drafts and discussing Him Morrison with me as I sat alone in a dark corner. This is what Irish bars are - just gotta inform the barmaid- only one, the other is quite nice - and the big guy - I'm betting a shit of Jamison that he's the owner- always running around the back, cooking up great meals - try his Steak and Cheese, the twelve inch pizza which beady eye called "fourteen" - duh - is $9.00 and big guys got a heavy topping hand, smothering that pie with the pepperoni that does that high heat trigger shaped twist - like a tulip pedal holding the little droplets of oil inside.

The bartender said we could order food even though it was really slow and the band had stopped playing. We ordered cheese steaks sandwiches. We asked what came with the sandwiches and we were told tater tots. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food. We had to wait about 5 minutes for the ketchup and there were no tater tots. We got a bag of chips and were told they were out of the tater tots and French fries. No respectable Irish bar would not be able to serve fries or some form of potato with a meal. The bar had about 10 people in the bar and they were all pretty drunk. It is not a fun pub but a place with some sad drunks.

Everything was aesthetically pleasing but I did find the muscles overly sauced with a little too much salt for my palette. The lobster flatbread was fine but nothing spectacular since the flatbread was not made there. Lobster meat and corn were sporadically covering the bread. Very good for a shared appetizer. Raviolis were great but since they were stuffed with peas and to have them with pea sauce is a little bit too much but again it was tasty. The scallop dish was on the pricey side for just three large scallops with pea sauce. Apparently they use their homegrown peas in the garden which is organically good. Crab cakes were delicious. There's a little band playing in the pub on Sunday nights. Good place to go to eat after checking in the hotel.

Parking on the street nearby was easy enough and thankfully had no wait for a table. The space is small yet inviting with lots of decorative owls all around as well. Also appeared to have a full bar so should you have a preferred drink I am sure they'll make it. I enjoyed their Ramona Park cocktail that had a touch of spice, while my wife got their Follow You Down mocktail. Drink prices appeared to be quite standard. Food wise my wife got their Not Your Average BLT and I got their Good Ol' Chicken Basket. The BLT was phenomenal with little tweaks/additions to it that make it a new favorite BLT! The chicken was very tasty, yet extremely thin so a few bites had no meat and just breading. Both came with fries and those were tasty and seasoned well! They could have been a touch more crispy though. Overall we both enjoyed our meals a lot and would love to return! Both food and drinks were brought to us in a quick time!
