I was looking for a quick bite and noticed The Blu Pig right next to my hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To my surprise, their bar side of the restaurant had live music![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I grabbed food to go from the restaurant and ate half of it while enjoying some incredible live acoustic music from a wonderful musician named Dave Mensch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar was nothing but good energy, from the bartender to the fellow patrons, everyone was quite chill and really vibing to the music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the brisket and turkey platter, which came with corn bread and 2 sides. I chose mac n cheese and sweet potato fries. If I wasn't watching the show, I would have scarfed it all down in 5 minutes it was that good. Luckily for me, I'll have having half of it for leftovers tomorrow for lunch (breakfast actually). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cool place, I'm happy and lucky that I walked in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

WOW!!! This place was phenomenal. Service was fast, friendly & attentive. We ordered the Blu Beefy Texan sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Probably the best I have ever had.. and I love me some BBQ. We also ordered drinks. The dragon fruit marg was so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was clean and well keep with plenty of parking (including the hotel parking beside it).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall was absolutely fantastic and highly recommend stopping in.

We stopped by for lunch and had the Tri-tip sandwich which was delicious. I had the smoked turkey with cranberry bbq sauce for and brisket combo. this with an iced cold beer started our Moab trip with a bang. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was friendly and it felt very western with its decor and country music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I highly recommend it, we ordered the pulled pork sandwich with beans and the food came out fast, it was pretty hot and delicious too. We also tried to local Blu pig beer and it was great. I am surprised of all the other reviews (the bad ones) but my experience was good. It wasn't a busy time (like 4 pm) and we did not have to ask for the check she brought it right away and checked on us regularly, I will be back at this place when I get to Moab again.

Counter and stools, might get dizzy and fall off if you eat too fast- but it's a option

A great outdoor patio where we could sit with our dog. We ate here twice while we were in Moab. We really liked the chicken!

From what I could see, the dogs could sit outside on the patio. Someone came in with a large dog and they asked if they could go to the patio. They very kindly took them out to that seating area.

To be honest, I was skeptical when my family suggested it, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed! My daughter and I had the Flat iron steak: mine med-rare, my daughter's med-well and both cooked perfectly. My husband and son had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. All plates were clean. This restaurant is classic Western ambience with good food, beer and wine and friendly service. Does it have flashy ambience and "innovative cuisine"? Kinda out of central Moab, but worth the extra 5-10 minute drive for great food, great service and really good prices. Our choices were Country fried steak (2) with really mashed potatoes, some corn , a dinner salad and a nice fry bread! Great choice as all of it was excellent. We also had the special hot beef with fries (also home made) and it was delicious. I had the pastrami burger and it was a full 1/2lb burger with a generous slice of pastrami - excellent. Plenty of parking in their lot. Not crowded and seated right away and drinks soon after. Service was to nothing. Highly recommend this place.

The burger absolutely blew me away. I love a good burger, and this one shot straight to the top of my list. It was juicy, flavorful, perfectly messy, and worth every napkin. And the fries... don't even get me started. I honestly don't think I've ever had fries quite like these. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and incredibly addictive. Everything was available for pickup at the promised time, and it was all still hot! This was great after a long day of driving. I really like the tamarind duck. The sauce is sweet and sour. However, I really hate how half the mushroom is cooked and half is not.. This curry is not very different from normal thai curry; the shrimp is cooked well, still has a nice crunch. Satay is normal, sauce is a little too sweet. Papaya salad is the worst dish, way too salty and sour. Green bean texture is too soft but seasoning is on point. Mango sticky rice is not good either: sticky rice is undercooked and mango is sour. I don't like the service here. We were still eating and they came over and just started to take our plates away, and when we still haven't finished the main course, they already asked if we want dessert. Also, they didn't really ask for spicy level of all the dishes and just assume we would go with the same spicy level. Food does come out very quick.
