I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. We sat outside on a beautiful heated patio space. Indoors very colorful and fun. The food was AMAZING and the service was just as wonderful. The owner/ manager helped my friend who is gluten and dairy free find lots of options on the menu for her. Incredibly creative sandwiches and salads/ bowls.

An interesting experience. We visited restaurant for dinner. The restaurant serves Israeli food, and we can probably call it "tapas style" - good selection of shareable small dishes. My problem is that we had hummus, baba ganoush, cabbage salad, eggplant "chips" - and most of the dishes were rather bland. The only dish which was a standout was fried cauliflower- it was absolutely delicious. My wife had chicken schnitzel and that was seasoned reasonably well. Whole fried red snapper was amazing in the presentation, but again, lacked flavor. I had lamb/beef burger, and it was not bad, but very tough. Cabbage salad was a part of the burger, and the liquid from the salad was dripping all over. French fries were definitely the best part of the dish. Not bad overall, but if you are looking for a pop of flavor, not sure this is the right place. Or maybe we just were not so lucky. Friendly, prompt service.

Recently had dinner at Blondinit and everything was AMAZING! The service was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making our evening special. We enjoyed a variety of dishes: kefta, Moroccan cigars, Babaganoush, perigot chicken, and a kids' burger plate. Each dish was flavorful and simply but beautifully presented. For dessert, they brought out a slice of pistachio cake for my birthday...and it was exceptional - the perfect end to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this restaurant for an outstanding dining experience! Will be back!

This was one of my most unenjoyable meals in years. Every other single patron is seemingly being greeted or welcomed or catered to by the owner but not me. It feels like it's because I'm the only gentile and non Jew here that I've been ignored. One would expect some sort of hello, welcome for coming, how's everything tasting from a brand new owner after 4 days of being open. But nope, nothing, crickets.....all the while I see her catering to two other women at the bar she just met for the first time. The bartender has been beyond friendly and accommodating - he's great and I over tipped him accordingly. The wine list is great and they also have Israeli wines, which I love seeing. Perusing the menu prior to coming, I hoped for an Abbale TLV experience like the wonderful Israeli restaurant in Miami - savoring a variety of delicious Middle Eastern dishes wanting you craving for more visits. The samplers I had were fine. I love baba ghanoush but wouldn't reorder it. The warm mini pitas are a very nice touch. Too bad they didn't have any eggplant mezze items. I wish them well - they are still only catering to their friends and family obviously like our first visit. To not be welcomed and embraced a second time doesn't make for an experience where we'd want to return and support this new restaurant, which is a shame.

Finally! The long awaited spot everyone has been waiting for in the neighborhood has opened their doors. We've already been 3 times and it is now at the top of our regulars in Westport. What a fantastic addition to the Westport community and CT in general. We've tried all the kebabs (chicken , kofta , salmon and steak) all fresh, delicious and so flavorful. Literally everything we have had so far has been absolutely mouthwatering and leaves you wanting more even as you leave stuffed. The cocktails are fantastic! Jeff really knows what's he's doing ! I couldn't stop ordering the Bokhur Tov (espresso martini). So good and the wine selection is very unique. Yummiest Sancerre I've had in a while. The decor is very Tel-Aviv/Miami vibe and now that the weather is getting warmer, the al fresco dining is chic perfection. Inda and Sol (the owners) are the sweetest! So warm, welcoming and fun! They make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk thru the door. It's pretty obvious the lady who left the negative review below is lying and seems bitter and I would question credibility to any of her reviews. Friends and Family events are private and the audacity and entitlement to think you should just be let in, is confusing. Then to come back and bash this new amazing place is just low. Do better yelpers, don't be like her! Best new spot in town, run don't walk for some fresh, authentic and delicious Mediterranean cuisine with an eclectic spin along with a warm family feel. Can't wait to check out the brunch

Drinks: cocktail was well crafted, although was surprised to see wine by the glass only!? Apps: Fluke crudo - tender, with so many unusual flavorings. Just spectacular. Maitake Mushrooms - earthy, smokey and full of flavor. King Salmon - again, very unique preparation, Fish was like butter; cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. Only critique - could have used something more to round out the meal... wild rice maybe? was a bit small. Burger - top 5 ever! Not over packed. Perfect medium rare, also bursting with flavor. Bacon jam and siracha and other seasonings on a tender brioche (?) bun. In contrast to the salmon, it was a really big burger, but I couldn't stop eating it, and super crispy fries made it complete. Peanut butter sundae - warm peanut butter foam with chocolate ice cream & chocolate fudge. Balanced and delicious. Ambiance was average -- small, with narrow paths; no tablecloths and hard chairs. A bit surprising, had expected a bit more upscaled given the menu, but the food was amazing, and our server was very knowledgable and helpful. We will be back!

"Well, I went to see my woman Down behind the barn…read moreSundown's gonna catch me In my sweet baby's arms" (Steve Miller Band) Rustic is the word! The barn-like building's dining room is dominated by thick wood plank paneling, exposed ceiling beams, and a stone fireplace. Three of us stopped in for lunch today, and we had a very favorable experience. Our server was super friendly and helpful, and answered a few questions we had about the preparation of a sandwich. She even ran back to the kitchen to check with the chef and made sure we had the information we were looking for. Their menu is very broad and covers appetizers, tacos, sandwiches, salads, burgers, and bowls. Our lunch was a Southwest Salad ($18.95) with Mojito-lime marinated grilled chicken, crispy romaine, Roasted corn, black beans, pico de gallo, queso fresco, avocado & crispy tortillas with ancho chipotle dressing, Chatham Fish N' Chips ($20.95) with Crispy ale battered cod with fries, tartar sauce, house slaw and lemon wedges, and a Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich ($17.95) with Lemon-Pepper grilled chicken breast, roasted red peppers, baby arugula, fresh mozzarella, and pesto aioli served on a toasted Rosemary focaccia. The food was excellent. I had the salad, and the first thing I noticed was there was a LOT of grilled diced chicken on my plate. It was a big portion, certainly enough for two sittings, and I have to say that ancho chipotle dressing was sneaky spicy! I really liked this place. Decent pricing, good food, good value, plenty of choices, a friendly staff, a full bar, and pretty much whatever you look for to enjoy a meal. What more can a Yelper want?

So I've actually debated whether or not to include this UberEats delivery review. The first time I…read moretried to go through with it, I just couldn't really figure out what to write. I only ordered it on UberEats this past Friday night, so it's not like I actually went there. However, the more I ate and thought about it, the more I realized something. This is the 4th year in 6 I've done a pre-birthday send-off UberEats order, and this is my 3rd year in a row doing so. In 2021, I had Edo on the last week before I turned 30. 2024, it was Boatyard at Smokey Joe's in Stamford, ordered on April 18. Last year, I did the Norwalk location of Elm Street Diner on April 24. If we want to take that into consideration, then that would be reason enough to sum my thoughts up together and get something down. So to send off age 34, say hello to Walrus Alley! If I'm being honest, I always wanted to have a barbecue right before my birthday of this year of all years. It only felt appropriate for 2026. Originally, I was going to have Wire Mill Saloon from Redding delivered using Yelp, but one of the items I'd ordered was out of stock, so that got canceled and I turned my sights here and ordered what I would have gotten from Redding. This was a half-rack of ribs, an order of Mac & Cheese, side of cornbread (this one came with coleslaw and pickles), and an a la mode chocolate bourbon pecan pie. The pecan pie was the only change since if I had gotten the Redding order, I would have had a key lime pie a la mode. I also put in some Alabama sauce because it does ribs a new flavor to play along with. I had everything over the next three days, hence why I am writing this review now. I will start by saying the ice cream did not make it without melting, but that's okay. I wasn't expecting it to since my driver did have to make a bunch of stops along the way, making my order take over an hour to deliver. No fault on the driver or restaurant there, and I ended up drinking the ice cream anyway, and it was still refreshing, so c'est la vie. The pecan pie it came with was actually really good. I found that it's better if you let that chill off a bit. Don't use plastic silverware for this one for the pie will break them, but delicious and sweet all the same. I'd love to have this in an in-person visit. In contrast, the cornbread should be warm when you eat that. It's buttered and soft, but it might be too dry if you try to eat it cold. The pickles are more of the spicy kind. I prefer sweet pickles, but I don't mind them being spicy either. The coleslaw I will say suffers the same fate that befell the one from Boatyard: it doesn't taste like true coleslaw. They should take a bit of inspiration from the Smokies (think Eastern Tennessee or Western NC) to learn how it should be done. It's lacking that mayonnaise component that truly makes it coleslaw. If they added that, then we might be talking! I decided to leave the ribs and Mac & cheese for last in the review because they do provide reheating instructions for those who order take-out such as myself. The Mac & cheese was actually eaten very late on the first night. The instructions given for Mac & cheese were spot-on, baking at 375 for 10 minutes before I dug in. It was some damn good Mac & cheese. Cheesy, love the breadcrumbs, and very satisfying overall. The ribs were the last to be finished. I will say I did also follow the instructions for the ribs as they were written; however, unlike the Mac & cheese, the ribs were still cold in the middle after 20 minutes in 375. You need the microwave to finish the job here. The ribs themselves were good. They weren't the best ribs I've ever eaten, but they were tender, the BBQ sauce was tasty, and the meat fell right off the bone. I will say that for this meal it needs a healthy amount of Alabama sauce all on it to really elevate it, but other than my experience reheating them this was my only criticism. Overall, a worthy BBQ meal. I'd still pick Hindsight BBQ over this if faced with deciding which CT BBQ to go with, but this will get the job done and then some if you need good BBQ. I'd love to come in-person one night and experience this place firsthand.
