The food was OK at best. This IS NOT a BBQ joint. They "braise" their brisket. Had a hard time getting in on a Thursday, but I guess if it's a college bat cool. Don't go for a meal.

I knew it was a bad sign when my dining companion requested a margarita and the girl behind the register asked, "what's in that?" Never the less we plunged ahead (sans margarita). The menu sounded fantastic, so we ordered a few appetizers, plus a pork bowl. We did order and pay separately, but within moments of each other. However, her food arrived nearly ten minutes before mine. I love fried cauliflower, and have eaten it at numerous restaurants. This was the first time I encountered it heavily battered, and that did it no favors. It was heavy, greasy, and flavorless. The shishito peppers were even sadder- those too were battered and fried within an inch of their lives, then drenched in cheese. We eat had one bit and pushed them aside. I wasn't aware it was possible to ruin chili cheese fries, but they managed to: flavorless chili over limp fries and cooled by a poorly executed green chili "salsa." The pork bowl was the least offensive item we ordered. It was forgettable but edible. We won't be back.

    Table service at Blind Pig

We had table service at the Blind Pig and had an absolute blast! This place is the perfect combo of club, food and a great crowd! The management was great to work with and they made it easy for our group to focus on the fun! Until next time.....

Amazing service. The pho is one of the best in Tucson. Would highly recommend coming here!

    Pulled Brisket Sandwich with fries

We visited the Blind Pig on. Saturday afternoon. It was very pleasant atmosphere for a late lunch. My wife and I ordered the fried cauliflower, the coleslaw, the pulled pork tacos, and the pull brisket sandwich. Over all the food was well cooked. The cauliflower was breaded and fried. The cauliflower was very firm. On the other hand the Cole slaw had a lot of mayonnaise and was very creamy. The pulled pork tacos had tasty pork. However there was a slightly bitter taste. On the other hand the pulled brisket sandwich was tasty. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere is good. We rated the restaurant 4 stars due to the slightly bitter taste for the tacos as well as the very creamy Cole Slaw.

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My first instinct was to leave because there was no one else in the restaurant but we had already paid $6 for parking and were determined. Food was ok. The pretzel bun for the Brisket sandwich was actually really good...but it was cold. A bbq sandwich bun IMO shouldn't be served cold. The macaroni and cheese was a little too dry and plain No real brewed sweet tea...come on...BBQ and sweet tea go hand in hand, if you don't have sweet tea and you're claiming to be a bbq joint...YOU'RE NOT ‍ sorry The corn bread was the best part of the meal. $47 for 3 entrees, 2 cornbreads, and 1 soda...we won't go back. There are too many BBQ places in town to eat bland or boring BBQ

    Crispy Chicken Sandwich

I've been coming here for a while for their pulled pork sandwich that is absolutely delicious. The pretzel bun adds the perfect touch to the nice balance of pork and bbq sauce. Personally one of my favorites and a must have on the menu! However, I have finally decided to switch it up and try their crispy chicken sandwich and it's exactly what I expected, delicious! I will definitely be having this again and can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

I came for the drink but the food is outrageous. A local owned joint cooking up some major food. I love this place. Tacos are so faire

You absolutely must try Pam's Spicy Lemonade--Hornitos with thai chili and mint. I've also had coffee-infused liquors here before that you'll rarely find anywhere else. I'm not a smoker, but I get stoked for their enclosed smoking patio with a couple old arcade cabinets (I like Centipede!) What I like: There are like, really cheap simple cocktails with the creativity to make some unappealing, bottom shelf liquors taste palatable. Those aren't my usuals, but I'm always intrigued. I will shamelessly have a couple $3 High Lifes. There's only one big bar in the center of the lobby, but service is generally fast. It's dimly lit and can be tightly packed, but you'll still have fun. Good for date night or groups of four or less. No food, but once in a blue moon you'll find a truck parked out front. Overall, a solid Tucson staple.

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. We came here because we wanted to play pool one night and Pockets had a tournament going on. We were originally 3 out of the 5 people in the bar (one bartender and one other dude who may or may not have worked there- but kept going into the back room). It was SO quiet which I found oddly unsettling lol. The only way there would be any sound other than our voices was to pay money to play music ourselves and I dropped way too much money to keep it going while we were there. Next, the bartender was odd to us...In some weirdly pretentious way. To be fair, we all do look young and people tend to treat us as such when we go out. However, he was so condescending about everything. I asked for a drink and he corrected me on how to order it-but not in a helpful way? More like he was annoyed with me. I turned 21 almost 15 years ago. I order the same drinks and have never been told that a bartender doesn't understand what I'm asking for- even if I don't use the proper bartending terminology. My roommate asked for a vodka redbull and the bartender made some weird comment about this not being one of our "hipster bars" like ??? I drink vodka red bulls in literal biker bars. We prefer smaller, low-key bars. It was such a strange and judgmental thing to say. He basically talked to US as if we thought we were too good for that place? Idk it's really hard to explain. But it left a horrible taste in our mouths. A couple came in a while before we left and seemed to be friends of the bartender- which somehow made the vibe even more uncomfortable. It's as if they all wanted us to leave. It's so weird to make your literal ONLY paying patrons feel so awkward and unwelcome. Dude needs a serious attitude adjustment. The a-hole bartender theme is out dated. That's just bad business. It's one thing to be busy and short with people when you're serving a full bar; that's usually expected, but you don't have to be a jerk to the only three people in the place lol.
