    Chicken Gyro Wrap
    Rajbir S.

We're regulars at The Bite and get takeout from here all the time. Our go to orders are the lamb and beef gyro and the chicken gyro, and we always add the fries, which are super flavorful and crispy. The portions are generous and the meat is always well seasoned and cooked just right. Our other favorite is the house made chocolate cake, which is rich and decadent, the perfect way to end the meal. We've ordered this combo many times over the years and it's always been consistent, quick, healthy, and good value. The staff are friendly and the orders are always ready fast.

Friendly staff and quick service. Had the beef and lamb wrap. Meat was flavorful and the sauces were good. Pretty simple decor clean. Wasn't too crowded on Saturday afternoon.

The neighborhood is still very sketchy unfortunately. Haven't been back in quite sometime. Inside is clean and chill environment. I was the only one there at the early dinner at 18:00 but plenty of to go orders. Vegan gyro wrap. It looked like it suffered from shrinkflation. Tasted good but was super soggy. Hard to eat. Maybe just do the rice bowl next time. Classic hummus appetizer. Finished this after gyro and helped fill me up. Pita was soft and enough for the serving. Everything is served in to go containers which likely helps cleanup. Nice they are opened late though it's likely I'll ever be there then, but nice for delivery.

Street view with lots of yummy dishes: Beef and chicken kebabs with grilled veggies, lentil soup, rice and salad..

This is a Turkish gem in the heart of San Francisco. I took my guest there and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the great hospitality. They serve delicious kebabs, specialty dishes, yummy mezzes, tasty salads and soups; especially lentil...After the nice meal, we enjoyed the complimentary Turkish tea..Definitely worth to try and we will be back! Afiyet olsun!..

Very tasty chicken bowl here! The kebab was truly delicious, well seasoned and cooked (though a little dry), the rice was well-textured and tasty. The sauces were saucy and the salad on the side was a great contrast. My main complaint and reason I won't back as frequently is probably the price tag ($23 for a bowl ouch for not all that much food). Otherwise, this is a very clean and comfortable space and the service was friendly!

The place was okay. It's interesting they don't have trash can to throw away your own garbage (they do tell you it's okay to leave it on the table, but I can see how people walking in could just walk in and see fresh/leftovers on the table, had I seen that I probably would've walked out fearing sanitary and cleanliness) The hummus came with 4 pieces of bread and wasn't anywhere enough to eat it with the amount of hummus I got. I had to order additional bread. The fries honestly were very bland, and had no salt/taste to it. Thankfully I was given ketchup packets. The grilled chicken breast rice bowl was okay. Nothing too memorable about it. Thankfully it wasn't dry. For the prices on the menu I wasn't impressed. I'd come here if I wanted something easy and to go once or for work if I worked nearby but I couldn't go outa my way to come here again. The employees were nice however.

We went here on a Saturday night, and we had a party of 8 plus a baby, and this place did not disappoint on space! It wasn't very busy and service was fast and friendly -, also if I could say one thing about this place 'ONLY EAT HER IF YOU LIKE SPICY FOOD'. The food was amazing! And pretty spicy. Which is great if you love spicy food like we do. Anyways, I actually didn't know that this place would be spicy until we went as a family, and the baby wouldn't eat the food because it was "spicy". Anyways, alls good. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend that you come here in the DAY, NOT NIGHT. Because there are shady people in this place at night, since it's San Francisco and it's always shady at night. But anyways, price wise it's typically what you'd expect in San Francisco and we had a great time. Five stars.

The Bite is great for what its name suggests; as a quick and yummy grab-and-go meal. The service is quick, and the prices reasonable for the city. Here's what we got: Mighty Kale Salad: delicious, with tons of variety in flavor and texture. The beets and tangerines seem like they come from a can, however, so it doesn't seem like the most farm-fresh salad (if that matters to you). Still delectable though! Falafels (4 Pieces): Yum. I liked the sauce. Chicken Gyro Wrap: good. In my opinion, the plentiful flavor, spices, and sauce saves it though, since the chicken itself is a bit dry. I'd still order it again. The Bite Fries (with paprika, garlic, feta cheese): I wish there was more cheese on them, but they were so yummy and spiced regardless, I really couldn't complain. A great accompany to the wrap.

Food taste and quality is amazing, definitely recommended. I will forsure come back to this place.

If I could give more stars, I would! Tasty food and huge portions. Order different dishes and share! The service was friendly and fast!! It's a little noisy, but that's street noise. The interior is quaint and quiet. It was very easy to talk to other members of my party without raising my voice or repeating words.

For lunch I ordered this very unassuming bean salad but it was an absolute hit for me. Beans' Family: kidney beans, pinto beans, garbanzo, red onions, bell peppers, corn, sumac, and house dressing. For someone trying to eat healthy and have a light lunch, this is for you! I was surprised on how much flavor came through and how fresh the salad was! I think the sumac with tangy dressing really brought it all together. I like that they used compostable packaging. I def will order from them again for lunch!

The kebabs were made with chicken breast, but very tender and moist, and the side of hummus was fresh, creamy and delicious. We also tried the sangria which was great- not too sweet and decently strong (not watered down bad wine). For dessert, the lemon cake was tasty but odd that dried cranberries were sprinkled into the whipped cream. I appreciated the variety offered on the menu- not just typical Greek food you find everywhere else that touts "Mediterranean food". The service was super nice and efficient, and I like that it has been family owned and run (sadly an increasingly rare San Francisco characteristic these days)- you can tell the difference in the quality and thought put into the experience.

We are not olive ppl sadly but I tried one and it was pretty okay. The service was great and all the servers were super attentive and accommodating. The Stuffed falafel was so good and huge 1 is enough for 2 people. The mosabaha was very refreshing and so good. The meat combo was good overall and everything was very herbally spiced, I wasn't impressed by the lamb tho but the kebab, hummus, and chicken were great! I haven't had Mousakhan before so not sure how it should taste but to me it was sweet and savory with really well cooked chicken. I honestly felt pretty healthy overall cause I was eating hella veggies and everything tasted so fresh. The kunafa was good we got it crispy and was yummy imo but was a lil oily (I think this is normal tho). Arab food isn't really spicy but it is spiced and very herbal which I felt in the food here, I appreciate that chili sauce is provided for the spice lovers. Overall, would highly recommend. It was about $100ish for everything and they recently increased their prices but tbh the portion sizes are huge and I feel like it is so worth it we had hella leftovers. My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. Rice was ok and it wasn't dry or soggy. 3.5 We've been spoiled and have had better food in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Nothing stood out for any of us. Prices are a bit high for what you get. A clear teapot filled with saffron tea with rock candy on a stick; seen how they dip it in after pouring the tea. Interesting orange color indeed! A plate of zucchini, grape tomatoes, Moroccan mint leaves, and a pair of Bulgarian cheese; complimentary for my first visit here. Persian noodle soup, filled with beans, chickpeas, and lentils; loved the floral notes in every spoonful. Main course, veggie kabob on a bed of basmati rice drenched in saffron and spices, along with some onions and mushrooms, and of course, a large Lavash bread at the bottom to fill the whole plate. The best part is to completely sandwich wrap after I marginalized the contents on the plate. Ahhh! Satisfying to the last bite of herbs and spices. Being married into a family that specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, I admit I'm a bit biased. The flavors here lean more Greek inspired, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I found them to be a little too subtle for my personal taste. I tend to gravitate toward bolder Mediterranean flavors, so I wasn't extremely impressed by the food itself. That being said, I can absolutely understand why this restaurant is so popular. The dishes are approachable, balanced, and refined in a way that I think appeals to the American palate. The food is consistently good every visit. My favorite dish is the octopus, and I also love the biscuit platter from their selection of sweets. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
