    Chicken Gyro Wrap

We're regulars at The Bite and get takeout from here all the time. Our go to orders are the lamb and beef gyro and the chicken gyro, and we always add the fries, which are super flavorful and crispy. The portions are generous and the meat is always well seasoned and cooked just right. Our other favorite is the house made chocolate cake, which is rich and decadent, the perfect way to end the meal. We've ordered this combo many times over the years and it's always been consistent, quick, healthy, and good value. The staff are friendly and the orders are always ready fast.

The neighborhood is still very sketchy unfortunately. Haven't been back in quite sometime. Inside is clean and chill environment. I was the only one there at the early dinner at 18:00 but plenty of to go orders. Vegan gyro wrap. It looked like it suffered from shrinkflation. Tasted good but was super soggy. Hard to eat. Maybe just do the rice bowl next time. Classic hummus appetizer. Finished this after gyro and helped fill me up. Pita was soft and enough for the serving. Everything is served in to go containers which likely helps cleanup. Nice they are opened late though it's likely I'll ever be there then, but nice for delivery.

Friendly staff and quick service. Had the beef and lamb wrap. Meat was flavorful and the sauces were good. Pretty simple decor clean. Wasn't too crowded on Saturday afternoon.

Very tasty chicken bowl here! The kebab was truly delicious, well seasoned and cooked (though a little dry), the rice was well-textured and tasty. The sauces were saucy and the salad on the side was a great contrast. My main complaint and reason I won't back as frequently is probably the price tag ($23 for a bowl ouch for not all that much food). Otherwise, this is a very clean and comfortable space and the service was friendly!

The place was okay. It's interesting they don't have trash can to throw away your own garbage (they do tell you it's okay to leave it on the table, but I can see how people walking in could just walk in and see fresh/leftovers on the table, had I seen that I probably would've walked out fearing sanitary and cleanliness) The hummus came with 4 pieces of bread and wasn't anywhere enough to eat it with the amount of hummus I got. I had to order additional bread. The fries honestly were very bland, and had no salt/taste to it. Thankfully I was given ketchup packets. The grilled chicken breast rice bowl was okay. Nothing too memorable about it. Thankfully it wasn't dry. For the prices on the menu I wasn't impressed. I'd come here if I wanted something easy and to go once or for work if I worked nearby but I couldn't go outa my way to come here again. The employees were nice however.

Street view with lots of yummy dishes: Beef and chicken kebabs with grilled veggies, lentil soup, rice and salad..

This is a Turkish gem in the heart of San Francisco. I took my guest there and we really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the great hospitality. They serve delicious kebabs, specialty dishes, yummy mezzes, tasty salads and soups; especially lentil...After the nice meal, we enjoyed the complimentary Turkish tea..Definitely worth to try and we will be back! Afiyet olsun!..

The Bite is great for what its name suggests; as a quick and yummy grab-and-go meal. The service is quick, and the prices reasonable for the city. Here's what we got: Mighty Kale Salad: delicious, with tons of variety in flavor and texture. The beets and tangerines seem like they come from a can, however, so it doesn't seem like the most farm-fresh salad (if that matters to you). Still delectable though! Falafels (4 Pieces): Yum. I liked the sauce. Chicken Gyro Wrap: good. In my opinion, the plentiful flavor, spices, and sauce saves it though, since the chicken itself is a bit dry. I'd still order it again. The Bite Fries (with paprika, garlic, feta cheese): I wish there was more cheese on them, but they were so yummy and spiced regardless, I really couldn't complain. A great accompany to the wrap.

We went here on a Saturday night, and we had a party of 8 plus a baby, and this place did not disappoint on space! It wasn't very busy and service was fast and friendly -, also if I could say one thing about this place 'ONLY EAT HER IF YOU LIKE SPICY FOOD'. The food was amazing! And pretty spicy. Which is great if you love spicy food like we do. Anyways, I actually didn't know that this place would be spicy until we went as a family, and the baby wouldn't eat the food because it was "spicy". Anyways, alls good. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend that you come here in the DAY, NOT NIGHT. Because there are shady people in this place at night, since it's San Francisco and it's always shady at night. But anyways, price wise it's typically what you'd expect in San Francisco and we had a great time. Five stars.

If I could give more stars, I would! Tasty food and huge portions. Order different dishes and share! The service was friendly and fast!! It's a little noisy, but that's street noise. The interior is quaint and quiet. It was very easy to talk to other members of my party without raising my voice or repeating words.

For lunch I ordered this very unassuming bean salad but it was an absolute hit for me. Beans' Family: kidney beans, pinto beans, garbanzo, red onions, bell peppers, corn, sumac, and house dressing. For someone trying to eat healthy and have a light lunch, this is for you! I was surprised on how much flavor came through and how fresh the salad was! I think the sumac with tangy dressing really brought it all together. I like that they used compostable packaging. I def will order from them again for lunch!

Oh my word this place really hits all the marks! The service was quick and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. It's a quick stop style restaurant and it's super clean. The owners take good care of the place and great to stop if you're eating solo. Definitely recommend!

Made reservations on Thursday evening via OpenTable for Friday and requested to sit by the window. In spite of the short notice, our party of two were given a table by the windows with stunning views of the waterfront and docked boats though it was a foggy evening. Claire was our server. She was extraordinary yet down to earth. She knew the seasonal menu as if the chef preparing the foods and made the most amazing recommendations. If she is your server, make sure you ask her what she recommends. She is attentive in a stealthy yet unobtrusive way and acutely aware of diners' preferences and requests while providing updates and keeping us apprised of options, ensuring a seamless service. Her descriptions of the heat level and flavors were spot on. Stephanie was the manager and was so nice to check in, despite the large, bustling private dinner party in the adjacent room. Ordered: Drinks: Glass of Pinot and chilled Gewürztraminer from Navarro Vineyards with a few bottles of sparkling water Starters: Bread basket with seeded lavash, corn bread, slices of soft dinner roll with honey miso butter and the grilled eggplant with focaccia First Course: Melon salad subbed with goat cheese instead of the blue cheese and a cup of the corn/tomatillo soup Main Course: Sergio's signature tamale with mole, the mushroom Wellington, fresh shell pasta, and fried cauliflower Dessert: Peanut butter choc mousse with peanut brittle, peach cardamom clafoutis, and a double shot of Saint Frank's espresso Finished with glasses of Van Hunk's alcohol-free sparkling wine Food: -Locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients, innovative preparations that begged you to become a vegetarian, delivered at the right temps (chilled vs. hot), and created in a way that surpassed traditional/conventional methods; vegetarian food that was robust and flavorful but not cheesy or oily as classic veggie dishes tend to be -Cauliflower, mushroom Wellington, and the fresh pasta are a must; excellent crust to the Wellington with a meatiness to the mushrooms, the porcini mushrooms in the pasta were excellently prepared and not mushy/wet but yet not dried out with a satisfying smoothness to the sauce that you couldn't stop eating shell after shell -Peanut butter choc mousse was simple but not cloying; the clafoutis--amazing combo of cardamom and peaches -The best seeded lavash ever with a crunch-ety snap with an addictive miso honey butter -The nuts accompanying the dishes were excellently toasted so not stale in texture--evidence of attention to even the smallest detail. Service: The caliber of service, superb quality of dishes, attention to detail was indeed a unique experience for me given Napa Valley as my former backyard. Ambience: Not "high falutin" yet upscale and a place you could enjoy with a business partner or as a family with kids. I can't say enough good things about the most extraordinary service received tonight--unparalleled to say the least. Of note, deepest appreciation for the complimentary dessert and glasses of non-alcoholic sparkling wine to round out the night--you even recognized nobody in our party had alcohol... We hope to visit again--soon. Thank you both, Claire and Stephanie, for the indelible impression of how elevated a vegetarian experience can be with unrivaled and incomparable hospitality that was wholly diner-focused. From the perspective of a long-time vegetarian, it's unusual to find such imaginative, delicious plant-based dishes, so while Greens is too expensive to make it a regular go-to, it's a top-of-list special occasion restaurant.
