Came here late on a Wednesday night. My only night in SF and decided to give this place a try based on yelp! Reviews. The food was excellent! I had the beef kabob rice bowl and it was outstanding. The beef had a great char flavor, along with the onions and the red and green bell peppers. I'm a wimp and only dipped my fork in the hot sauce ONCE. But the salad dressing, the yogurt sauce and the orange tahini sauce were soo good! Did I need them? Not really Only the salad dressing was "needed". But all the others really enhanced the flavor! Salad was fresh with vegetables and feta. And the rice was perfectly cooked! Finished my meal with the baklava. Two pieces, petit-four sized, that were domed. We came to grab some dinner at The Bite before a concert. What we ordered: Classic Hummus with Pita Bread, Lamb & Beef Gyro Wrap, and Vegan Gyro Rice Bowl. Everything comes in to-go containers with plastic utensils. You order first with the person at the front counter or through a screen inside. The food was delicious! The gyro wrap and rice bowl each come with three sauces: orange sauce, yogurt sauce/salad dressing, and hot sauce. The food didn't need the additional sauces on its own, but if you try them together, the sauces enhance the flavor. All three dishes had just the right amount of seasoning as well. The staff was kind and checked in on us multiple times. Please note that there are no trash cans inside, so the staff helped us throw our dishes away. The neighborhood is still very sketchy unfortunately. Haven't been back in quite sometime. Inside is clean and chill environment. I was the only one there at the early dinner at 18:00 but plenty of to go orders. Vegan gyro wrap. It looked like it suffered from shrinkflation. Tasted good but was super soggy. Hard to eat. Maybe just do the rice bowl next time. Classic hummus appetizer. Finished this after gyro and helped fill me up. Pita was soft and enough for the serving. My main complaint and reason I won't back as frequently is probably the price tag ($23 for a bowl ouch for not all that much food). It's interesting they don't have trash can to throw away your own garbage (they do tell you it's okay to leave it on the table, but I can see how people walking in could just walk in and see fresh/leftovers on the table, had I seen that I probably would've walked out fearing sanitary and cleanliness) The hummus came with 4 pieces of bread and wasn't anywhere enough to eat it with the amount of hummus I got. I had to order additional bread. The fries honestly were very bland, and had no salt/taste to it. Thankfully I was given ketchup packets. The grilled chicken breast rice bowl was okay. Nothing too memorable about it. Thankfully it wasn't dry. For the prices on the menu I wasn't impressed. I am a big big fan of this spot's gyro! The meat is perfectly cooked, the portions are huge and their sauces are delicious. The bite fries are also really good; crispy and flavourful. Also a huge bonus is that they have a delicious chocolate cake that they make in house. Definitely try it if you like fudgy chocolate cakes. read more

I got my order delivered via door dash while staying in the city overnight. I'm SO glad I found this place. If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I'm pretty gluten sensitive and it was recently discovered I'm actually celiacs. So I was HOPEFUL I wouldn't have any issue. Thankfully I didn't! Now, I only had the Chicken Gyro rice bowl but omg. I'm still thinking about it a week later! First of all, it's huge. The portion sizes are VERY generous. The chicken tasted amazing. I loved it. No notes. The rice was a lemon herb style long grain and was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. Here's what we got: Mighty Kale Salad: delicious, with tons of variety in flavor and texture. The beets and tangerines seem like they come from a can, however, so it doesn't seem like the most farm-fresh salad (if that matters to you). Still delectable though! Falafels (4 Pieces): Yum. I liked the sauce. Chicken Gyro Wrap: good. In my opinion, the plentiful flavor, spices, and sauce saves it though, since the chicken itself is a bit dry. I'd still order it again. We went here on a Saturday night, and we had a party of 8 plus a baby, and this place did not disappoint on space! It wasn't very busy and service was fast and friendly -, also if I could say one thing about this place 'ONLY EAT HER IF YOU LIKE SPICY FOOD'. The food was amazing! And pretty spicy. Which is great if you love spicy food like we do. Anyways, I actually didn't know that this place would be spicy until we went as a family, and the baby wouldn't eat the food because it was "spicy". Anyways, alls good. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend that you come here in the DAY, NOT NIGHT. Because there are shady people in this place at night, since it's San Francisco and it's always shady at night. For lunch I ordered this very unassuming bean salad but it was an absolute hit for me. Beans' Family: kidney beans, pinto beans, garbanzo, red onions, bell peppers, corn, sumac, and house dressing. I tried the Chicken Gyro Wrap, which had a healthy sized filling of chicken and spring mix. Man... sucks to be surrounded by homeless when you are doling out some of the thickest gyros. The lamb was tasty but the portion size was wow! The different sauces they had was spicey so I don't try too much as I'm prone to stomachs pains... fries were mid but I just stuffed in my gyro and it was a perfect combo to my gyro. The food is always fresh and delicious, like homemade, and the flavors are subtly unique for typical Mediterranean fare. The service is always friendly and efficient. Super packed with meat, greens, feta. Comes with green yogurt, orange zest, and red hot sauce on the side (both wraps do). Mix the yogurt in and you've got lean tender sandwich bursting with flavor! The side of fries was perfect. Just the right crisp on the outside while fluffy and tender inside. With some of the extra lamb gyro meat, yogurt, veggie greens, and 3 sauces I made my own loaded fries.
