We were looking for a last minute place to have dinner after coming out from Raleigh for a family vacation -- this place was open and looked like a fast and easy dine in! The first and second floor views were both gorgeous as it's a small seafront fast casual diner; there was even a cute little bar on the second floor. The tater tots were crispy and tasted great! My bacon chicken ranch wrap was also very good (boyfriend approved). The shrimp wrap was also great -- shrimps were big and not breaded too much. The burgers were good but we're just your typical burger, nothing crazy. One of our orders was wrong -- chips came out with a burger instead of tater tots, but staff was especially kind enough to give us tater tots for free plus some ranch cups when asked. My only qualm about the place was that you have to pay almost $2 for a side of either fries, tots, or one other option instead of just a small bag of chips with your entree. Granted, the prices weren't bad for the seafood, especially by the seafront. I had hoped that the flounder sandwich would have been made with local fish, but unfortunately it wasn't. Instead it came out of a bag, loaded with other identical fish pieces. The generic white bread hamburger bun was dressed with a tablespoon of tartar sauce, and a couple of pieces of iceberg lettuce. The service was good. read more

Great location next to Atlantic Beach. Upstairs rooftop bar has a nice view was relaxing but on the verge of getting crowded and louder. Food was very good - though be warned almost everything on menu was deep fried. Restaurant staff downstairs were fantastic - friendly and personable, bar staff were not memorable. Would return for beach front eats and the upstairs view. read more

Simply awesome food with a killer view from the rooftop bar. Hat tip to the fry cook who knows how to expertly fry everything from the onion rings to the Honey Shrimp - there's nothing more disappointing than over-fried food and this place has their team dialed in! I ordered ahead. It was done by the time I got there.. it took me maybe 12 minutes to get there. I ordered a cheese biscuit and added a sausage patty. It was absolutely delicious. My French toast was pretty good. The staff was friendly and I got a view of the ocean. What more could you ask for? read more

Great location, right in the heart of Atlantic Beach. To order, there's a walk up counter and the staff were very warm and friendly. The service was very fast and the food was delicious. The inside seating area is small but there's also a larger outdoor area upstairs. If you get there before 9, or park alongside the sidewalk, you won't have to pay for parking otherwise you will because it's literally steps from the beach so beach parking rates apply. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area. We will definitely be back! read more

Burgers, fries, tots, shrimp wrap, and onion rings were all the things we ordered. Everything was pretty good! We appreciated the warm welcome when we came in. The cashier was cheerful and friendly. With one other employee working the grill, we patiently waited about 10-15 minutes for our food to be cooked fresh. The restaurant was clean and bright. They have one high chair in the place, but for the size of the restaurant that wasn't surprising. We have no complaints and would go back. read more

Right next to Atlantic beach access, perfect if you are out on the beach. Easy grab and go meals. We happened to be headed out of town and decided to stop by. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. The chicken and waffles were good. Downside to them is that there are clumps of sugar throughout the waffle and make it way too sweet. I feel like these are not made in house like the pancakes are. We came for lunch and wanted a nice drink on the rooftop when we got there we waited in line for over 30 min, as soon as we were next in line we were told to wait a few minutes because they were switching shifts and then it was my other family member in line next and the lady whipped out their tip box and started counting tips in front of our faces and told us to wait a second like we haven't been sitting in line for over 30 min already. This is where you want to go for breakfast in Atlantic Beach! It's a cute little spot in a neighborhood off the causeway and not a greasy spoon but still has all the comfort breakfast food you want... WITH A BEACH VIEW! We got the pancakes with bacon and an omelet with toast. 10/10 all the way around. The pancakes are enormous and about 3/4" thick. Way more than we could eat! The omelet with bacon and sausage was delicious! Beyond the great food, the service is incredibly friendly, and the view upstairs on the roof is peaceful and beautiful and overlooks the beach. Came for breakfast during breakfast hours and they refused to serve us because the kitchen was already switching for lunch.. lunch was nasty.. fresh fish was definitely worse quality than fast food and definitely not fresh and the hot dog was filled with red 40 and cold. The Hoop Biscuit is by far the greasiest biscuit I've ever eaten... at least attempted to eat. Toast on breakfast sandwich was burnt and drenched in butter. French Toast was ok. A nice place to eat but the food was middle of the road average. The omelette I got was not as good as I hoped it would be and my cheese biscuit was doughy with cheese that didn't have much flavor. I ordered the omelet and asked for a waffle on the side, let me tell you.... The waffle.....we went back the next morning just for the waffles! The service was friendly and the portions weren't huge which my fiancé and I enjoyed! When we come back to town, The Bite will be a place we will dine in again. It looks like a small diner when you walk into the bite.... BUT it's worth a small diner (trust me). When I saw the food *heaven music* THIS LOOKED SO GOOD. I was literally speechless. My mom got the pancakes and bacon (Ashly c.). And I got the omelette with bacon, sausage and toast on the side. The cheese was perfect the sausage tasted so good, the bacon was crispy and flavorful. The toast was perfectly toasted their orange juice you can really taste the orange. I tasted my moms pancakes they were SUPER SUPER fluffy and big, and tasted soooo good. We visit Atlantic Beach weekly and try to go to new lunch spots. This is a great little beach spot with a rooftop bar. We had burgers and the flounder sandwich. All of the sandwiches come with fries or onion rings so we tried both. Everything we had was delicious and fresh, cooked to order. The team was friendly and quick too. Awesome spot for lunch. Once it was ready they brought it out to me, I had the whole patio to myself it was amazing, I got really lucky for a Saturday night. The shrimp tacos and blood orange margarita were insane. 10/10 would recommend. I took the carrot cake and ate it on the beach and had the best Saturday night.

Our server, Cameron was outstanding. She was even able to get my wife a margarita that wasn't on the drinks menu. I had the Bob Marley fish sandwich with those amazing Snapperz fries! Cooked to perfection. My wife got fish tacos and she gobbled them down quickly. My daughter also got some fish and it was enough to feed two. We all left full and happy.
