That kind of kindness and customer service is hard to find. The waitresses were some of the nicest, friendliest people we've ever been served by. If you're looking for incredible breakfast and genuinely exceptional service, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back! We started going here the first day in vacation and we only went to their restaurant because of how kind, welcoming and generous these people could be. This is the best breakfast place ever. The bartender was busy working and singing in between taking orders as she prepared drinks for customers. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and offered the specials before we placed our order. We love to sample the menu when we travel and the vast menu of tapas gave us the perfect opportunity to try just about everything. They had a smaller wine selection, but there was something for just about everyone. Our waiter was very attentive and offered suggestions on what to try if we were torn between several menu options. The Spanish lamb meatballs, truffle honey pork belly and rosemary beef were the tapas that stood out as the most flavorful and making us each want just one more bite. The Spanish meatballs were glazed with sriracha which caused me to pause before ordering. However, I'm so happy that we gave them a try. They had a bold flavor, but the whipped feta and cilantro were enough to balance the heat. The truffle honey pork belly was sliced differently. We have only had this cut into cubes at other restaurants in the past. The way that they slice the pork belly is so much better. The pork belly was served with cheese grits. We don't even like cheese grits, but could not get enough of these smoked Gouda grits. The rosemary beef with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect. The beef was tender, the asparagus cooked to perfection and who doesn't love mashed potatoes. We visit the crystal coast about twice a year and always try a couple of new places. Got here when they opened on a week day and there was already a couple gentlemen waiting to get in. The inside is spacious with ample seating, and about four seats at the bar top. I got the Western Omelette and order hash browns along with it, as shown in the menu as an option. The food came out and the omelette was undercooked and still a bit runny. The waitress noticed this right away and sent it back to be cooked longer. Received potatoes instead of hash browns, and when asked why no hash browns, was then told they have only potatoes. As well, was given an option for cheese in my omelette, but instead was given a slab of Kraft cheese on top. Food was ok, service was great.

First, the hostess places our menus down, breakfast side up & even though the cutoff was 11, we arrived shortly thereafter so I had hopes that perhaps I could have breakfast vs lunch. I was promptly shut down by our server. I settled on fried clams that came with fries and butter beans. The butter beans had to have been straight out of a can as they had no seasoning or meat flavor. Even after I salted them, they were still flavorless. Our server was kind enough to remove them. The hush puppies and my bestie were the highlight of my lunch. Especially after hearing our server tell Bob's wife that she would see what kind of breakfast she could get the cook to wrangle up for her. Now, don't tell me no and yes to a regular because they threatened to "go somewhere else." That is a direct quote from the regulars (I could hear their conversation because the restaurant wasn't that busy.) Because my fries were under my clams they were soggy and I only ate 4 of them. It pains me to give them such a poor review but neither of us were impressed enough to even want to return. I do commend them for being so community involved & charitable to our western neighbors after the storm. Just wish we had had a better experience.

The fried chicken and pulled pork was the same--minus dry. Just lacked flavor. I attempted to add some bbq sauce to make it more palpable, but alas, I am not a vinegar bbq kinda girl.
