Kill Screen Games - PS3 refuses to read disc, while it is able to read games I have purchased elsewhere.

My experience with Kill Screen Games was extremely disappointing. The lack of care in how they…read morehandle and distribute video game discs is unacceptable. The discs I received had come with deep scratches, rendering them completely unplayable. Selling games in this condition demonstrates either a complete absence of quality control or a disregard for customers altogether. It is one thing to expect minor cosmetic wear on used discs, but it is another to receive items that clearly were never inspected and should never have been sold in the first place. A company dealing in video games has one basic responsibility: to ensure the product functions. Kill Screen Games failed at that most fundamental level. Until they establish real standards for product inspection and customer care, I cannot hand them a good review.

The guy behind the counter (as seen in one of my pictures) was very nice and gave me a deal on an item CONS: The place is very tiny and the selection isn't as much as other used video game stores OVERALL: I'm going back to this store in the future to see if they have anything new because I love seeing nostalgic items and if they still work then its good enough for me

Nintendo, Sega, Sega CD, N64, PS234, Gameboy, PSP, oh my!!!…read more It was like walking into the gaming museum. This is where all the games go to be reborn and reintroduced to a new generation. As a gamer myself, I was completely elated and the little boy in me could not help but be in supreme awe of the store. Do I wish it was a little more organized yes (that's just me and my need to want things really neat) and according to the owner it was when he was in a bigger store a couple of miles away. Oh, had I known about him before and seen that store. I think I would've worked there part-time just to sift through all the games I've played and maybe replay them just for fun. See how far I can get through Mega Man X, Contra, TMNT and even the Power Ranges on SNES. Sorry, I had a that's so raven flashback moment. I'm back. Where was I? Oh yes, The variety of games, accessories, systems, cables. You name it, he's got it. Even if you don't see it, he'll know exactly where it is. The owner is super nice and lets you browse until you get tired. I am looking forward to going back to check out more games. I mostly get games to send to nephews overseas and they are already excited for what I'm sending. The prices may seem high, but honestly what you probably paid to have them when they first came out was double if not more so to me he is being fair especially for a small business.#SupportSmallBusiness #Gaming #ForeverTheCoolNerd See you soon and thank you for taking me down memory lane. It was so much fun!

ALLENTOWN: for a fun stop, check out Tinkerbeee's Toys!…read more Featuring vintage toys, comic books, video games, action figures, stuffed animals, collectibles, and more, a wave of nostalgia will wash over you while browsing all the items! They are mostly from the 1980's and 1990's, and are reasonably priced and waiting for a spot in your home. Brie's Dad's day was made finding bargain priced graphic novels! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside! There is a lot of merchandise in a tight space, so use caution around the delicate items.

They have a great selection of toys for anyone who grew up in the 1980's and 1990's. I get a welcomed feeling of nostalgia whenever I go there. There is also a nice selection of Bronze Age comics. Best of all - the prices are very reasonable. I call this out as I have found most stores that sell the same sort of merchandise up charge so significantly that I can't reasonably convince myself to buy anything. I mean so places charge as much as my monthly cable bill for a used GI Joe figure! And eBay- it's twice as bad in terms of pricing. I highly recommend anyone stop by and see for themselves what a pleasure it is to go to someplace where you can feel like a kid again.
