I didn't see a lot of "sports" stuff there, if any, really. But there was a good amount of Funko Pops, trading cards, and other related collectibles if you're into that sort of thing. I'm only here for the comics. Overall, it's a place that I can easily pop into on my way home but can get lost in for hours just by combing through the dollar bins and searching for hidden gems. The owner is friendly, courteous, and always fun to talk with. You can tell that he loves collecting. (A "problem" that all of us in the comic community seem to have haha) My only gripe is that the condition of some of the dollar books and back issues should be looked at more carefully. Some are not quite as good as I thought they were when I purchased them. I only discovered this later on after taking them out of the bag. The new store feels more like a mix of pop culture merchandise than the music-focused spot it used to be. While it's colorful and has plenty of things to browse, it doesn't capture the same energy or atmosphere the old store had. Back when FYE was down at the other end of the mall, it was all about music. Rows of CDs, posters, and the thrill of discovering a new album made it a hangout spot for teens like me. It wasn't just shopping, it was part of growing up--meeting friends, flipping through racks, and walking out with something you couldn't wait to listen to. The new version just doesn't bring back that same feeling. It's fine for what it is now, but it will never replace the memory of the old FYE that was such a big part of being a teenager.

I had a car with a sucky cd player so I was buying cassettes (very cheap) and on the way out, since it was near the holiday, he gave me a Frank Sinatra Christmas cassette on the house.
