PROS: This place is the #1 pop culture store in the city. They have everything including funko pops, comic books, display toys, games, puzzles, and more. Store is also of good size CONS: The prices for some of these are a bit high compared to other pop culture stores and the workers there never greeted us nor asked if we needed help. That gives the vibe that they don't want to be bothered OVERALL: I would be happy to come back here to see if there's anything that I would like to get, but I won't be expecting any help

Did a quick search for a comic shop when I was visiting Philly and this shop popped up in my area a few blocks away. When I walked in I was greeted by the staff. They have so many cool things in this store and a great selection of new comics and a nice selection of back issues. A lot of Gundam models and DC and Marvel figures. They store is a good size and they had all the comics I was looking for. Much better than in size and space that stores in Washington, DC area. When I visit Philly again I'll definitely go back. I would recommend any comic and sci-fans visit the store.

I go for inspiration. Brave New Worlds is all about inspiration. Classics, the newest figures, pops, and issues of your favorite trade paperback. The cost is worth the value of what the content gives you. Great spot.

Storefront. Lacks obvious signage minus the moveable sign.

Brave New Worlds Philadelphia location shares many of the good traits of its Willow Grove shop. To start, parking is largely street, with lots a few blocks away, so good luck. Shop makes the most of its limited space. Good selection of new pull books along with a limited selection of longboxes that my friends pulled several well priced comics out of. One dollar longboxes were also abundant, but slightly disorganized. Wall book selection was fair/good. Pop Vinyl selection was large, like its other shop. Various other collectables included glassware and Japanese model kits. I've seen many reviews calling this the best shop in Philadelphia itself and I would have to agree. For its size, Brave New Worlds Philadelphia is solid.

Started this awesome series and I'm hooked! It's hilarious, sexy, has beautiful graphics and a universal story!

Great spot for gunpla and the staff is super nice! Their stock is a bit affected by covid supply but easily the best in the area still.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I wish the arcade machines worked but they're only for display. The shelves are packed w/ everything from the latest ,manga,Marvel & DC (you name it they have it)issues to rare back issues that you don't see anywhere else. I spent ages flipping through back issues, discovering old favorites, & even some titles I'd never heard of before. The manga section is amazing too! Honestly, it's one of the best I've ever seen! And the collectibles! Action figures, vintage posters, Funko Pops, & even some high-end statues sprinkled throughout the store made it feel like a mini museum of nerdy goodness. The staff are super friendly & clearly love what they do. They were happy to chat about my finds, give recommendations, or just geek out w/ me over classic storylines. I even found a few hidden gems in the dollar bins that felt like little victories. Atomic Comics isn't just a store it's an experience. It's cozy & full of charm.
