Cute store with Hello Kitty merchandise, but I have a larger collection at home! The items were marked up for profit because I got better deals for my HK stuff. In addition to HK, they have other collectibles.

Don't purchase blind boxes here. Sold us a la fufu, fake Coca-Cola labubu. Would definitely not ever go back

Ive been going to this store for years since before they remodeled and i love their selection and just walking in the store makes me happy. They have plenty of sanrio and anime themed items and i was happy with their new remodel it looks beautiful in there! Here are some of the items I bought over the years.

I was looking up things to do in Philadelphia during my brief visit and....the reviews on this store crack me up. For anyone who doesn't know, merchandise like this (Sanrio, rilakkuma/korilakkuma, etc) is going to be pretty pricey anywhere besides Japan. Coming from the Bay Area, the prices here were pretty reasonable. The owner (I'm assuming) was kindly reminding all who came in to hand sanitize as all the guests were touching the items. I ended up picking a cute coin purse I've never seen before of my favorite character from this stop. Tips: * It's a little warm inside so be prepared for that. I was sweating when I left after a quick stop in. * They require ID if you pay with credit card. Highly recommend stopping by if you like cute Japanese wares!

This place was heaven for my kids. They were helpful and nice. So much to choose from for anime and Sanrio items that you cannot find in any store.

They relocated to a new location, much bigger and better! Totally agree with Alexi G about the prices, it's about the norm in the US FOR AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL SANRIO items. Not those knock off cheap quality SHEIN stuff, no offense if you don't care if it's authentic, just for those that do #iykyk.

I was wandering around Chinatown and was most intrigued by the huge Sanrio authorized retailer sign. The shopkeeper made sure I sanitized my hands before going in. There were so many things from stickers, to stationery, plushies, clothes, and snacks too!

The whimsical Sanrio sign stopped me in my tracks on my way to see some history. (Heck, it's my own childhood history to be sure). Inside you'll find a magical treasure trove of whimsical offerings. Sadly the high prices and surly workers are less magical. You'll be treated like a nuisance the moment you walk in the door. Walk around the corner to Arch Street and you'll find similar offerings at about half the price!

It's a cute little place. Lots of different Hello Kitty items to be found. But I was a little shocked by some of the prices. But there were definitely items that are special and are harder to find - so it might be worth the money to the right person.

I saw that this alleged boutique was close to our hotel, so my 4 year old daughter and I walked over to have a look. From the moment we walked in, a young woman seemed to be looking over us at every turn. It didn't dawn on me for a while that she was someone who works there, actually following me, presumably for loss prevention reasons, for the precise reason that this HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME EVER BEFORE IN MY LIFE! Usually sales associates flock to me because, based on the way I present myself, they know they are about to make a sizable commission. This might have made more sense if I was dressed casually or something, but I guess they see a lot of thieves wearing Hermes and diamonds? A word of advice to the staff: you sell onesies; get over yourself. Oh, and your selection is very pedestrian; get a new buyer because your sales floor looks like literal garbage.

The books are in good condition and well-organized with clearly labeled shelves and sections. The CD section oddly didn't seem to be organized in any way though - not by genre or even in alphabetical order by artist. I found it impossible to find anything I was specifically looking for, and I gave up. If you're looking to just browse though and not find a specific artist, give it a look. I found fewer newer titles here than I typically do in other used bookstores in the city, but that' s likely due to the fact that they get most of their books as cast-offs from the city library system and outright donations. I was initially confused about where to locate the prices on the books, until I came across the sign on the sales floor explaining the system. I wish it was posted more prominently right when you enter to save people the confusion. You can't beat the more than reasonable prices though. The employees are friendly and helpful, and they have a couple bookstores cats, which I love. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the neighborhood!

What sets this place apart is the downstairs area, which is more of a traditional department store vibe. They've got a huge selection of cosmetics, a smaller section of skincare, and a whole stationery area with a ton of pens (though I'll admit, the prices felt steep -- not sure if that's just Philly, but it's definitely more expensive than what I'm used to). Snack selection was solid and reasonably priced, and I was excited to see the TikTok-famous mango and peach ice cream bars sold individually for \$5 each. Most places make you buy the full 3-pack for \$15 when you just want to try one, so this was a win in my book. There's also a small café and seating area downstairs, which is a nice touch, but the cleanliness definitely needs work -- the floor was sticky, trash cans were duct-taped together, and the space just didn't feel as fresh as it should for a newer store. Service was great though -- fast checkout, no one hovering over you, and the overall vibe was relaxed and easygoing. It's not perfect, but You & Me has a fun selection and a unique setup that makes it worth checking out if you're in the area.
